Most of everything in the store is over priced, really wish they could come down on the prices.. the main reason I don't always choose Ace, as I live very close by, but always friendly staff, and willing to help find whatever you need.

I commissioned Ace to have 18 pieces of glass cut. Annette and Dave made it happen. Although there was a mishap to begin with, Annette’s professionalism really outshined the initial frustration, so much so that 5 stars felt appropriate. The project came out great! Thanks Annette!

When I bought a home in Ringgold a few years ago, relocating over 1000 miles from my family, Elders was one of my first stops for a few odds and ends I needed. Quickly I began to know many of the team members on a first name basis. Every time they go above and beyond to give helpful advice, great service, & always incredibly friendly. From assembling & delivering a wheelbarrow I purchased that wouldn’t fit in my vehicle, to advising me on some of the best / safest local trails to go running on (along with a map), & most recently helping me pick out an air compressor/accessories I needed for it after a broken gas station compressor severely deflated two tires…they also made sure that not only I left with the compressor but filled my tires back up so I could get home safely! I wish I could squeeze all the impactful interactions into one review. But Elders in Ringgold feels like family. I know I can trust them to give me the same advice my Dad would give me when he can’t be here to help me on every project that comes up.

I love the whole Elders Ace Hardware chain! All stores are staffed appropriately and I have never met a rude employee in fact it is most often the opposite. I would guess Chic-fil-a hires their employee from Elders Ace merely due to the demeanor and attitude of the employees.

So I went into ace looking for a seasoning that they were out of. Was told 2 was on order should be in the next day. I told them I'd call but honestly forgot. But, I did pick up 1 bottle at a different location. Cooked what I wanted, posted it on FB lol. The girl from the Ace store saw my post and reached out to me and reminded me that the seasoning came in today, if I wanted her to save it at the front register she would. Omg. What amazing customer service. And a small world lol. So yes, I went rt away and picked those 2 bottles up also. Yeah, it's that good. But their customer service is over the top. The seasoning is holy voodoo and it's great on smoked cream cheese.

They have Peepers eyewear and sometimes you can get bird seed cheaper than other places. They have a fantastic section of wildlife decor and supplies. All the Yeti products.

I am presently painting the inside walls of a house I purchased recently. I am using Benjamin Moore paint and the folks at ELDER’S in Ringgold are the best! The paint department is working with me to get exactly what is needed.Plus, they have beautiful and fun decorations, too!

Took in an old but good chainsaw I've had for over 20 years, they'll fix it, Maybe it'll take awhile, but have a 40 plus yr old saw, that's my back up. Very pleasant and helpful.

By far the nicest Ace Hardware I've ever been to. They have everything from women's clothing/jewelry to lawn mowers! Super clean and organized as well.

Customer service is always exceptional here. They’re friendly, personable and very helpful. My husband and I accidentally left a few small items in the cart as we were loading the truck. Placed the cart in the outdoor return cart. A few hours later they called us to let us know about our forgotten items and that they would save them for us. We appreciate them!

***Look out, you do not pay for propane by the gallon***. Had to find propane for heat because it's getting down in the 20s tonight. Normally we get propane from Tractor Supply but they were out so we had to find someone that was open on a Sunday. When we pulled up there was a young man filling tanks so we pulled over and I got our two 30 pound tank out and carried them over and waited. One tank was not empty but we were going to fill it too since it was going to be cold for awhile. The young man did not tell me they do not charge by the gallon but charge one set price for each size of tank. This means you pay the same price to top off a tank or to completely fill a tank. He did not tell me until he was finished and I ask for the amount so I could pay. We were completely ripped off.

Wonderful! I went to purchase straw to keep some feral cats warm on the coldest day of the year. It was very close to closing time and they were still friendly, helpful, and even loaded the straw for me.

People all too often are quick to complain but forget to acknowledge positive customer service. My wife and I both truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism demonstrated by the personnel at Elders Ace, Ringgold. You walk in and you will be warmly greeted. You will be asked by multiple employees if you need assistance. I appreciate that I can come in with a technical question and every effort will be made to accommodate my request. Many times, the staff makes a suggestion that is simpler than what I had in mind. Can't beat getting good advice and saving money. Like most businesses the pandemic has created some time periods where staff has been stretched thin, but they still get the job done. Phil, the store manager is warm and personable and will work to make you happy if something is not what you expected. Mike has helped me more times than I can count. He takes time to look up answers, part numbers, check availability at other locations, and if he says he will call you back when he finds an answer you can rest assured, he will. Annette and Jeremy are two other individuals who will help in any way they can. They have a great Stihl repair shop run by Toby. He is an excellent mechanic and has repaired many things I have managed to thoroughly foul up. Ringgold is lucky to have this store and I hope locals will support our local businesses before running off to a big box store. So, yes, I am a fan of Elders Ace, Ringgold. I think you will be too if you stop by and get acquainted. Kudos to all the employees.

It’s a beautiful store. The people who work there are caring and helpful in extraordinary ways. I brought in a fan on a floor stand that needed bolts and screws lost in our move. One of the men who served in that area took the fan and in 15 minutes had it all reassembled with new screws. It was ready at the cash register with only the cost of the screws. It was more than worth going there for the service that was offered as well as the great assortment of screws etc. I will always remember the kindness and service of that store.

Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Sometimes they're a little more expensive then Lowe's or home Depot but you can always get help if needed! Definitely will use them if I need to.
