I ordered chicken tenders and they were the worst I’ve ever had. They should be called “chicken toughs”. No meat on them at all. They were more like super chewy fried clam strips. Worst thing I’ve ever had from Cracker Barrel. Oh my goodness!!! We had the wonderful pleasure of being taken care of by Ms.Betty!!! After a good trip and feeling hungry and tired she truly showed us the best southern hospitality I have ever witnessed!!! She is truly would be the reason I would ever stop here on another road trip, thank you Ms. Betty for making our meal the most enjoyable we have ever had!!!

Fire crackling in the big stone fireplace, genuine smiles, and the best veggie plate in the South. Big portions too!The people at the table next to us sneaked out without paying after ordering large amounts of food, complaining about it and then receiving more food, which they didn't even touch. I'm attaching a photo of all the food they left, plus a photo of the getaway car...a Louisiana tag although I think most of the party was local.

It was my birthday and I wanted to go to Cracker Barrel. (Rarely eat out) and have the pecan pancakes with peaches and whip cream topping( so very good) I also had grits and bacon all very good, the others (5) also enjoyed everything. The waitress, cashiers, hostess and all your employees were very accommodating. I always enjoy shopping at Cracker Barrel. Bought several gifts.Parking: I have never had a problem with parking. A very large area.Wheelchair accessibility: Would be no problem getting into store (someone would need to hold door) but would be difficult to get through the front area to be seated due to clothing, pictures etc.

Stopped in for lunch. CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS were right on point. Service was quick and friendly, not rushed or lagging. Clean facilities. Connie was seating diners and I saw her follow up to make sure a server had visited the tables, which they had. Shay was my server and she did a great job, she was friendly and efficient and brought me exactly what I asked for. Drink refills came right away without me asking. Great job today CRACKER BARREL!!!

People should be served (not just the food, but the entire experience) in the order in which they are seated in your area. A couple of minutes after I was seated, another couple was seated behind me. My server took their drink order, brought their drinks, brought them some biscuits, went to the couple in front of me for the 3rd time, then "noticed" I was sitting between the two couples and took my drink/food order, including a request (which she forgot so I had to ask another waitress for it). In all, it was 40 minutes from the time I sat down to when I got my food, with my blood sugar steadily dropping. When my food arrived, my sugar was getting dangerously low and never quite recovered to a normal level while I was there (a low level makes thinking a bit difficult). She never came back to refill my drink, only once asked if the meal was ok, never asked if I need anything else. The place was not overly crowded. I normally leave a good tip when I go out to eat; this time I left none.

Great service and great place to eat, but when you get to retail they obviously do not have a dress code. You can smell the one named Taylor 5 miles away, and just ruins the whole experience in a prime American folk restaurant. Hope Cracker Barrel can improve.

4/5/24 they say southern food but no 1000 island salad dressing??? 2/9/24 Breakfast today, bacon very undercooked but everything else was prepared well. 1/15/2024 breakfast was OK but the biscuits are dense rather than light and fluffy Like a true southern biscuit. Gravy was flavorless, but the bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection. And if you’re fortunate and have Ciana as your server will be taken care of very well she is excellent!!!

We travel all the way to Ringgold to come to this location. We even have a closer Cracker Barrel, but this one is the best! Our waitress, Ms. Betty is excellent. She is very attentive and very friendly. If the food wasn’t already a good reason to come, she put our experience over the top. Everyone should come in and ask to be set in Ms. Betty’s section, she is great! We will be back!

We went the day after Christmas. We were seated at 3:40 p.m., intending to order at least two lunch specials, but the wait staff didn't take our order until 4:01 p.m...and when asked if they would make an exception, were told "no", lunch specials stop at 4 p.m. I ordered the maple bacon chicken entree, and when my dish was served, the server casually mentioned "Sorry, we are out of the smoky sauce". That's the main flavor of the dish, and I should have been given the option to order a different choice. But no, I wasn't. Everything we needed, we had to ask twice - honey mustard sauce, ranch dressing for the fried pickles, dessert menu. We scarcely saw any staff pass by to request what we needed. I'm generally easy to please and I still left a good tip - because I had a hunch that this was a management issue and not entirely the wait staff. In fact, while we were patiently waiting for our ranch dressing, a female in the kitchen called a pow-wow of all the staff and very loudly berated them while the guests in the restaurant listened on unwillingly. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable. Next was checkout time. The two women at the registers weren't the friendliest. The guests in front of me had an issue with their ticket and a gift card. The cashier was clearly running out of patience. Again, probably a management issue. This was my first unusual experience at Cracker Barrel. I hope they smooth out their issues. Treat your staff and your guests courteously and everything else will fall into place.

App does not have menu items. Store would not answer phone for 25 minutes. Unconcerned when I arrived with the inability to answer the phone or the time it was costing me as a customer. The 800 does not allow you to talk to anyone and can only communicate by email. Custoemr service is the LAST priority with this organization.I have left a detailed review of my experience and a response will come by email in 7- business days? The 800 number provided does not get you to a person totalk to. I finally wnet htrough every prompt and was ransferred ot a voicemail. Again no one to talk to. Why would a restaurant chain create a system to NOT talk to customers.?

I took a chance and ordered the chicken and dumplings. It was my favorite growing up but what did I just order???? It looked like someone threw some flour in water and called it a day. The vegetables taste straight from the can. I understand the state of the economy but the prices sure don't reflect what I am getting. Very disappointed.

New server. Did not listen. Ordered unsweetened tea got sweet tea twice. Had to help her take food off tray so she didn’t spill it all over me. Asked for jelly and honey mustard. Never got. Husband had to go to kitchen and get jelly. Did not put in our to go order. Asked for ticket and she handed me one and said is this it. It was not. Mentioned to cashier service was terrible and she said that is not my doing. Rude!!

We were in here 5 months ago. The experience was a little better. Within that time frame, the place went down hill quickly. My daughter wanted to enjoy her birthday here. First the hostess refused to seat us because our entire party wasn't there yet. She claimed they were very busy when there were several empty tables available for others as well and they have always seated large parties ( we were a party of only 6 total ) that are waiting for others if there is availability. We were seated and waited for service. After 20 minutes it was decided to find out the problem and a waitress went to find someone to help us. Another employee told us this happens at least twice a night with our table because it never gets assigned to anyone. Probably a failure on that hostess for us. There's no telling how much it happens the rest of the time though. Kinsley, our waitress, stepped up and saved the day. She will go far in life. Management, you suck! This store is seriously in neglect, period! Only management is solely responsible for operations and making adjustments as needed. We quit going to the one in East Ridge for the same reasons! No one ever even came out an apologized or tried to make things better for us except Kinsley. Great job young lady! Again, management, you suck!

We stopped at the Ringgold location. Our waiter struggled to keep up with the volume of people in his assigned station. We sat with empty glasses for well over 10 minutes while we had food. When he brought out our food, he spilled half my serving of okra which isn’t hardly anything to begin with. Instead of offering to get me more when he sat my plate down, I had to ask. He never brought out my husband’s side of steamed broccoli until he was done eating because we had to ask for it. I had a hamburger steak and asked for steak sauce and my party was half down with their food by the time I had it brought to me. I asked for my hamburger steak to be smothered in grilled onions, it had 5 grilled onions rings on it.I live in Dalton so we will not stop by at the Ringgold location again and just continue to the Dalton location.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables to choose from.

Went to eat there tonight after my daughter's school function. Hostess wiped down our table with a soured dish rag and made it stink. Our order was taken in a timely manner and out drinks came out quickly. About 20 min later our waitress came out to let us know they were out of what my other daughter ordered and she had to order something else. About another 20 min 3 of our 4 meals came out and they informed my wife they were out of what she ordered also and gave only a few choices. I can understand when you run out of an item but I have never been told they were out of something when the other meals were being brought out, they had to already know they were out way before this. I ordered fries and only received a total of 8 fries. All of our food was cold other than my wifes re-ordered meal. We ordered biscuits and only got burnt cornbread. Both of the meals that needed replacing were upcharged. Our $3.14 iced teas were never refilled. Waitress came by and dropped off the check and disappeared for the remainder of our visit. We had to get up and hunt someone down to get a to go box. A $70 mistake we will not be repeating any time soon.

It had been awhile since we had been to CB. I had to work this Thanksgiving and wanted to go someplace close to home to get Thanksgiving Dinner when I got off work. Thought we would try it out again. Big mistake. Service was horrible. We all wanted the Turkey dinner meal… but didn’t want the Sweet potato casserole because it had pecans in it. I asked them if they could merely substitute mashed potatoes instead. I was told no they couldn’t do that…the meal came as is. Really? What would it hurt? So then all three of us had to get something else other than the Turkey Dinner….which was the reason we went there in the first place. The server never asked if we wanted cornbread or biscuits…so my husband asked if he could have cornbread. The server was acting like that wasn’t included and would be extra. Ummmm…I don’t think so. So then she gets all huffy because he tells her what bread we want to eat. When we got our meals food was cold and I had only like maybe two small spoonfuls of mashed potatoes and green beans on my plate. All of our portions were very small. Also the cornbread was almost burnt and like a rock. Will not make the same mistake of going back again. Worst Thanksgiving Dinner we have ever ate. Would have given 0 stars if I could have

I've noticed a bit of decline with Cracker Barrel the last couple of years. In fact, this was the first Thanksgiving since 2018 I didn't order catering. Last year's was subpar at best. Black Friday, we stopped in for lunch. I thought maybe eating in would be better. I ordered a burger and was so disappointed. This was not even comparable to fast food. For the price, I could have gone to Five Guys and been much happier. My mother-in-law picked at her meal and then asked for it to go. We ordered an appetizer, but somehow it was lost. By the time it was reprepared, we just got it to go. Our server was very sweet, but clearly overwhelmed. I completely understand as it was busy. The store was very busy, but all staff in this area were very friendly.

KAYLIE was our server. She left me sit 7 to 10 minutes after i got the food waiting for a coffee refill and hotsauce. Told her my eggs were already cold then she proceeded to try and tell me she was busy doing something. Lol I'm a server the minute the hostess would of come told me my table needs things, it takes 2 seconds. But instead she had to still sit in kitchen and talk to hostess b4 bringing the stuff lol

Gave single stars as no star not an option. This is the 2nd time we have placed an order for pick up at this location while traveling through the area. The first time it was not ready and had to wait about 30 minutes. We decided to give a second chance with this order. Upon arrival to pick up the order we were informed they did not have any fried chicken fingers and had not been informed prior to our arrival of this fact in time to place a substitution. Since time was the whole reason we ordered ahead, I asked what they had ready to go and were met with blank stares. I asked if they had grilled chicken ready since it was included in one of orders. We were told it would take time to “reheat”. So, we learned that the food is not prepared fresh, but comes pre-frozen and “reheated”. I asked about chicken and dumplings which was also included in the order and they indicated it was “ready” and so chose that as the substitution. Big mistake. Both orders were mostly salted water with dumpling like noodles and chunks of salty chicken. We will not be giving a 3rd chance to this location and not sure we will be returning to any other Cracker Barrel. We have been long time customers, but the quality has severely dismissed in food as well as service. Perhaps it’s time to get back to the basics of preparing and serving quality food by competent service staff rather than investing time in incentive gimmicks? The bathrooms are never clean nor have enough TP, hand soap nor hand towels. Sad to have lost a favorite family restaurant, but consistently bad experiences have lost you a customer.Parking: Nothing more.

Came here for Thanksgiving dinner and was not impressed.I ordered the Thanksgiving meal combo which included my meal, drink and dessert. Upon receiving my meal the sweet potato casserole was missing. I ask about it and was told "we ran out".Nothing was said about that, no sorry we are out, can I offer you something else. Just dropped off my food and left. I also noticed others that ordered the same thing, received their dessert at the same time as their food. Me, our waitress brought our bill and I had to ask for my pie. They weren't too busy, maybe 2/3 full, yet I ran out of my drink 3 times during dinner.
