Walked through this massive store while taking a break from driving through on I75. Lots of home decor, a few antique pieces but not a lot of them. Lots and lots of pretty stuff for your home. In an old mall, safe, owners are friendly. I was hoping for more actual vintage items which is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Nice booths though, clean and well stocked.

The way the do business with continued customers when they were inn east Ridge is not good business or business ethic.I had two gift cards That I had received one was from my mother in law as a gift and she pasted the next year after given me my gift card . We also had lunch in the tea room the same day. To my point Chattanooga Mercantile refused to let me use my gifts cards there on Cloud Springs Rd this past weekend. I have over $100 to spend and they said they couldn’t take the gift cards. Now I know they are new owners but the money my mother in law thats has left us gave me a gift and I now can’t use it it’s money she spent on me that’s is wastedThey should still honor the gifts cards of customers from The original Mercantile that’s just had business. They bought the business and the money my mother in law was in the price . I don’t think it’s right to refuse gifts cards that’s money people have spent weather it’s from the original mercantile or not . It’s bad business. I still purchased what I originally was going to use my gifts cards on but I won’t be back and I saw serveral things I was going to come back and buy. But not now.the value of people or past customers doesn’t matter to them. The other gift card is an anniversary gift from my husband I can’t use his hard earned money wasted too. Everyone complained about the past owner how hard he was to work for with the booths people rented from him but he would have never of refused money from a customer. He was always very nice and his staff. When I got to the Mercantile I even asked the lady at the door before I started looking around I asked her if my gift cards would be honored since they moved and new owners and she quoted “Yes” they will it’s the same company so she lied to he right up front . She was also at the counter when I was purchasing my items but when turned around to tell them she said they would accept them she heard them tell me they couldn’t honor them she was gone walked away. Alit if placed new owners etc… for good business and business ethic will honor gift cards etc..Not this placeThey are money hungryThe lady at the door handing out menus could have told me right there saved me the time looking around.I just think they are wrongI am sure it doesn’t matter to them if they lose a customer but I won’t be back and I will and gave told people how they do business. Now I have a gift card from my dear Mother in law that I loved dearly past away and I can’t use the last gift she gave me to remember her by with something she wanted me to go buy and enjoy from her. Hard earned money she worked hard for .That’s how this company runs their business.

We had our Christmas party here. The service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and tasty, and the blackberry cobbler with ice cream was delicious.

The only thing I'd change is that the ow er of the complex needs to redo the bathrooms. They've been woefully ignored. Ate at Mammie Carlotta's in the back of the Merchantile for my monthly ladies lunch. The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect for us. We had so much fun. Then got to go looking through all the fantastic booths with antiques, repurposed, etc items. Will definitely return!

We love this stop in Chattanooga. It's definitely a day trip/destination. Whether you are looking for boutique clothing, antiques, arts and crafts or more...they have it all! I know why do many decorators shop here. Make sure you eat lunch in the tea room!!! Get the sampler for a little bit of everything. They have the cutest kids meals...our son got his favorite Peanut Butter and Jelly and look how cute it was served. I love they are open long hours...when everyone else is closed. Great job to the owners and to the wonderful vendors/merchants. It's the best we've found in the area.

Good food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is incredible, and the staff may be the most pleasant I've seen in a while.

HUGE. Make sure you're prepared to stay a while! Great finds, different pricing per booth, so if you find something out of your price range keep looking for others that are cheaper!

Food was wrong, casserole was dry and cold. Bill was messed up. Ceiling tiles were damaged and some were missing.Very expensive for a bad experience.

Talk about big! This place will take more than an hour to go through. A wide assortment of both old and new - this is not a place to be missed by lovers of home decor and antiques, especially those oriented around a southern, country vibe. Be sure to check out the tea room in the back for lunch!

What a find on a rainy day. The 3 of us all got separated because we were just lost in our own little world. There's so much to see. There were many beautiful, clever and unusual pieces to keep us amused and intrigued for quite some time. Too bad I didn't find anything that spoke to me enough to take it home.

Interesting place full of different booths -- flea market style but upscale. My wife and I just love to browse and get ideas for our own projects.

Stopped here on a whim - the staff was super friendly and helpful and there was a lot of interesting things! It’s a mix of antiques and new home decor. There’s different vendors with different things and most of the prices were very reasonable. The cafe next door is great too!

Items were unique, much of excellent quality. Large facility. Pleasant staff, most booths had reasonable prices. They had a restaurant and a small yummy looking bakery. A good selection of items ranging from cowboy slumming to palace elegant. A place worth the visit. You can easily spend a browsing hour or two.

New and old. So much to be found here. The owners and their booth owners turned this place into a charming and intriguing business. The vibe of the building is now cozy and gorgeous. There is a lunch restaurant in the back. We had already eaten, otherwise we would have tried it. We will go back soon .The collective decor is so lovely.Truly, there is something for everyone here. In general the prices were good. Can't wait to go back and see the other half. We were short on time.

So many options! Along the aisles, I was able to find a pitcher for the basin and pitcher set my mom made for her mother years ago. A long story short- The original pitcher is missing. The one we found ought to fit nicely. And, it was a good price!

This isn't a antique store as of 3 months ago.. the true description is a rustic furniture store.. I used to do business here and care not to now.. please get rid of the antique sign on your business..And don't allow any delivery trucks..

Great selection of antiques and they have snacks! My only recommendation would be to add aisle numbers, because this place is huge.

It used to be Gateway Antique Mall, but recently has changed to this place. You used to be able to hunt for treasures at decent prices. Now? It's one of those "city folk" antique stores. Very chic and organized. Which isn't bad if you're into that. But don't expect to find a bargain! Left here and went to Grumpy's - and fast!

Some of these booths do have some beautiful things, however, you better be willing to pay a beautiful price. It’s like my momma used to say “They are very proud of their stuff”I’ve never seen a junk/antique store with such outrageous prices. Even on the small dishes and kitchen items. My husband and I were shocked that this place even gets business with these prices.

What a cool place with super friendly staff! No matter how much stuff is on the piece of furniture you want, they will help you pull it out and load it with a smile on their face.Thank you. This is a great place to browse, as we went in not entirely sure what we wanted. By the time we left, we were confident in our new furniture choices. Looks amazing in our house.

The staff here is very rude. And second of all they don't even have as good of selection of items as the old location. There isn't anything here that I wanted to buy. I'll be visiting the other antique stores in Tennessee or just visit the antique states in my state of Florida. At least we know how to be warm and hospitable. And be welcoming to our customers. Remember your store can open and close. How you treat your customers is a good reason on how your business will last. If you keep this up it won't be long. Trust me I won't be recommending this place to anyone! I've shopped antique stores for my business for over 20 years and never was I so disappointed in a store. I usually find something but not here. And after the way I was treated I wouldn't get anything from here
