These people are awesome. When our boat jumped off of the ball going down the road, our trailer was compromised so that we could not continue on. Barrett's came with a flatbed truck to take it to their shop. The driver said they could fix it, and wow, did they! It looks awesome!Highly recommend them for towing and/or repairs, even on a boat trailer!

Nicest guy ever! I was broke down on the side of the road and he got to me within minutes of being called. Towed my truck to dealership and stayed with me and explained things and treated me like he would his mother. I’m very appreciative and highly recommend him!

We were on the way to Great Wolf Lodge in Lagrange, GA when we had a tire blow out in Richland. We googled the closest tire shop and were able to get in touch with the owner of Barrett’s. It was after hours, but he answered his phone and was willing to help. He asked some questions and figured out why we couldn’t get our spare tire to fit our truck. He told us to give him a minute and he would bring us the parts we needed. He was able to help us get our spare tire on our vehicle so we could continue our journey. The cost of the lug wrench, and universal lug nuts was much cheaper than I thought it would be. I don’t think he even charged an after hours fee. He was a kind, small town man willing to help others in need. I need 7 stars! Mr Barrett rescued us from a difficult situation and was both professional and kind. Our car lost both power and oil pressure on Highway 27, many miles south of Columbus GA just after 1200. We called AAA for assistance but they did not appear even after 5 hours! Finally we got in contact with Barrett's and quickly got towed to the dealership. The service was exactly perfect.Highly recommended!!

The owner, Allen Barrett, is the best! He discovered that the oil filter was defective causing a massive oil leak. This company provided the best customer service I've experienced in a long, long time. I can't thank them enough for everything!

AWESOME PEOPLE. FAIR PRICE. READY TO HELP.We got broken about 6 miles from Barretts. I called the # on google and Alan answered me, he was out of state with his family but was very helpful from the very first minute. We were able to find a towing in the area to take our truck and trailer to his shop (he does towing as well but not for truck and trailer). At the moment we got there the shop was already closed, but he allowed us to park the truck os his parking lot and found a place for us to drop the trailer since it would not fit there. Ended up that we had a broken radiator and the part couldn't be found, long story short, we left trailer and truck there, went back to FL, after 15 days we got back with the part, they fixed in a couple hours and we were back on the road. There were two awesome mechanics working on our truck, Bryan and I don't remember the other guy's name. Not mentioning the people at the front desk, very helpful and friendly. We thanked God they were on our way. They don't measure efforts to help. Bad situation but they made it less stressful.

This company was AWESOME!!! Allen provided a wonderful service for my wife and I. We were stranded in Richland Ga…called a towing company that didn’t call back. Called Barrett’s and they were there in five minutes…assisted in finding a hotel. It was just a great experience!!!

Man when I tell you Allen was a life saver the other night. I was coming down HWY 27 and a couple of deers shoot across the road causing me to go off road stuck on the side of the guarding rail. He came and got me out with no problem at all. I was in a bit of a financial bind but he made it possible for me to continue to make it to work( being it was my first week working) and covering the tab for the towing. He was the only Tow service to pick up and come at 2 am. I’m thankful for Barrett’s wrecking because honestly I don't think anybody else’s would of been able to help me in that time of need. Great man who understands the importance of taking care of a family and the situation that may come.

Barretts is more reliable than AAA. I waited more than 3 1/3 hours for AAA and they still have not showed up. Barretts responded and pulled me from a ditch within 20 minutes. He got there and instructed me what to do and brought me out safely. I would trust this service in the future, very dependable and professional.

Can’t thank Allen enough for coming to our rescue Friday night after our truck’s serpentine belt shredded. He towed us to his shop, replaced the belt and we were on our way after a short time. The price was fair, especially since it was after hours and on a holiday weekend. We reached our destination and enjoyed our weekend thanks to Allen’s prompt, professional help.

Let me tell you about Allen Barrett and his crew. I was on the first leg of my two week vacation when two brackets broke on the axle on my camper. I was referred to Barrett’s by a lady at the Gas n Go and everyone I encountered there demonstrated the highest level of customer service anyone could ask for. They didn’t have the parts I needed, so Allen told me to take my camper to his house, drop the trailer in his yard and drive to Americus to get the part and he would repair it when he got home from work. By the time I got back to his house, his wife was getting dinner ready and he put all of that on hold to get my camper fixed. Not only did he repair the axle, he showed me how to fix it if it should happen again in the future. Needless to say, he could have charged me a lot of money, but he was more than reasonable with his fee. He got me on the road again and literally saved my vacation. If you ever need help in Richland, GA, Allen Barrett and his crew are the ones you want to call. Thank you Allen!

If I could give Allen at Barretts more stars, I would. I had a break down ten mins from my Florence Marina State Park destination. Once I got to the park, found and contacted Allen, he was exceptionally attentive to my problem of a blown bearing/wheel on my travel trailer. A couple of places said it would be 5-6 weeks to get the axle/parts. Allen reached out to someone who could weld the part I needed. Came to the park and took my axle while I was hiking with friends, came to Providence Canyon where we were hiking and took my wheel (which I found on the side of the road two days after the mishap) from my truck, and got it fixed. He kept me up to date with what was happening. Came the next day to reinstall. The welder gave him the wrong lug hub so Allen went back to Columbus that day, got the correct one, and came back that evening to complete the job. I met Allen's family and they sat down with us for smores and conversation. For such a bad and scary situation, Allen eased my worries by providing awesome hospitality and quality work to get us on our way before our week at the park was over.

My experience was not with the auto store but with the towing service. They were so helpful and professional and went above and beyond to help us find a rental car in the area and transportation to the rental car after an accident that was not our fault. We were very helpless in a difficult situation and they stepped up to make it so much easier on us! We didn't even get your name! Broke down on the side of the road 8 hours from being home, couldn’t even get a reply from anyone else around the area but Mr. Barrett answered the phone on the first ring and where I was and came to fix the truck. Once it was fixed I made it all the way home with no problems. If you need help this is the guy I’d call.

Today we found ourselves with a low tire, in the middle of Georgia! We stopped at a little gas station and asked if there was a tire shop in town. She gave me the best southern directions, take a left at the light, then there’s a set of railroad track, and after you cross those, it’s like 3 buildings down on the right, but I don’t think they’re open today.So we took a chance, and we found it! They technically weren’t open, but like proper southern gentlemen they got right on it! Best bunch of guys, this side of the mason dixon line!! We were in and out in 30 min and back on our adventure, if you ever find yourself in the middle of Georgia, needing some automotive care, I highly recommend these guys!!

Last May, I arrived at Barrett's with a blown head gasket, causing overheating to both engine and transmission. The engine required Machine Shop work and the transmission had to be rebuilt. Barrett's got 'er done. My 1994 Chevy Silvarado has been running strong and smooth ever since. Thank you for a job well done.

Barrett's Chainsaw Part's Supply Had The More Common Replacement Part's for My Visit & The Independent Part's Auto Brand Store Had Item's Many Other's Do Not.Most Item's other Than Repair's & Towing are Found in The O'Reilly's Part's Franchise.I Still Need A Piece or Two;Other Than That They've Auto,Truck & Tractor Repair.
