Came to food depot on 4/14/2024 just to buy Fresh OKRA GET HOME OPEN THE OKRA AND LOOK AND SEE A MOLDED OKRA I WENT TO RETURN IT AND LET THEM KNOW SOMEONE NEED TO CHECK THE FRESH OKRA BECAUSE THIS NOT THE ONLY ONE IM LIVID ITS DISGUSTING 🤮

Horrible customer service, rotten produce. They sell old food from the packaged goods to frozen items. They also break the law by allowing teens to complete transactions including tobacco and liquor. They have so many illegal and immoral practices happening at this location and under the Food Depot name also. This establishment is deplorable.

The Cashier's are great and the store overall is good. There was a discount produce stand that we loved but they recently decided to increase the prices per the NEW produce manager. Makes NO sense to price discounted items the same as prime produce

They have great deals, this location is always clean. Here is my issue. Every single time I purchase ground beef from them it goes bad in a day. I would purchase the small pack and the outer layer would be red but soon as you split it open the meat is brown and smells sour. About 4 days ago I purchased ground beef, left it in my fridge just one day then proceeded to make burgers the following day and the meat already started smelling sour and tasted sour. Had to throw it out. I can’t say I’d purchase the ground beef ever again. It’s weird because I’ve purchase steak from them and it wasn’t bad. Stay away from the ground meat. Not sure what they are doing but it’s not it. Their fruit/produce sucks also .

They are always friendly here. They also tend to have many things in stock when other stores don’t. They also carry a lot of snacks that are hard to find elsewhere.

The staff was very helpful and friendly the place was easy to find and easy parking it's not really crowded here and the cashiers are nice although they had things in the owl and it was not as clean as it could be it's still a great store to shop at you can get in and out without any hassle and it has pretty much everything you need as far as food

My go to location for veggies herbs and meats last 12 yrs.Thank you Senor Antonio for resolving a matter abt a "foil pan ^matter purchased from another store...Ms Stacey thank you for your courteous and professional service with a smile.😀 You didnt mind walking the floor to locate the product in question.Appreciate you both! I did spend another 10.00 though I made a $4 returm. 👍👍

This store has old and out dated candy they try to sell and the Is some customers that the staff there just don't like so they are rude to them the lady's are nice until you pass on off no matter how little the problem was they just become rude then you have some people like Ms Wanda who is just a good person and better manager

Friendly staff, but the store could use some serious updating, brighter lighting, and less clutter. It's the closest grocery store to my home, but I drive further away to the nearest Publix 99.9% of my time. Only ran in here this one time because I needed one item.

I love this place. When I want fresh kale and smoke turkey necks 😋, I run to Food Depot.The prices are good and the staff is always eager to help you find whatever you need.I still need a few more items to complete my meal, so I will see you there.😁😁😁

I was out of my usual grocery shopping area and needed to get some greens . I usually get my collard, turnip & mustard greens at Food Depot. They're always tender & tasty. I Googled the closest Food Depot in my current area & began my adventure. 🚗 I was not disappointed. The store was clean, roomy & well stocked. The clerk was friendly 😊 & I happily made my purchase. Food Depot usually has what I'm looking for & items I didn't know I wanted until I saw them there🤭😃

This store sells rotten meat! I brought my concerns to the meat manager and was told "they received the meat like that." Unacceptable!!I have been to other Food Depot stores and the one in Rex is by far the worst.

We got to the store literally 5 minutes prior to closing. Finally left after spending 150.00 on groceries. Not one person complained. The store is well stocked and easy to shop in. This store however, is the most cleanest food depot I have ever shopped in. Great customer service. Please visit this store, you leave very happy with your experience.

Good variety at decent prices. Clean stores, friendly service and hometown feel. The quality of their fruits could be improved.They may want to consider tightening up inventory by reducing qty on some items that don't sell quickly.

Recently remolded! Great wine selection at great prices. Good grocery prices with items I don't see at other stores. Only issue is they can't seem to mark accurate sale price of items. Trying to find a price or getting the right price is challenging. Love the longtime cashiers and staff.

The cashier in Lane was worth the price of admission. She greater everyone when they came in the store. She was pleasant, professional and efficient. The store was clean. I wish all the staff where wearing mask. It did make me uncomfortable to be near some maskless employees who were stocking shelves.

Shopped two weeks ago and bread on the shelf was molded, my grandkids saw it also. I bought a red velvet cake, when I sliced it it tasted funny, looked up under the bottom, it had mild on it. Glad I didn't give in it to my grandkids. Called store no answer. I will not be buying those items again ever. That shocked me .

Please check your cooler ( sausage chicken) + other products and your cured meat. A lots of those products r out of date and smell. Food Depot is our favorite store, please don't ruin it.
