This place was very chill. Our first night here, they had glow in the dark golf ($8 a person). We just wish there was much more to do. But if you're looking for just a quiet camping trip, this is the place. If you would like to be close to the water lot, 23 and 24 are the best spots.Playground: Playground is good for ages 1+Restrooms: Always clean, they have a public and then a private bathroom.Dog-friendliness: All shapes and sizes. All dogs here were super friendly.Picnic area: Very spacious. Some had covers. You had a picnic area on your site, or they were some by the lake.

I hiked this just at sunrise and was blown away with the view. It's so tranquil and the wildlife was buzzing. This little tucked away park is packed with everything. Put put golf, splash pad, park areas, picnic areas, canoes, and pedal boats plus golf. I adore this park. And it's located right in the middle of an amazing quaint town. So convient!Playground: Scattered all overRestrooms: Near each picnic areaDog-friendliness: YesPicnic area: Scattered around the park.the splash pad is up and around past the putput

Well maintained with plenty of playgrounds and picnic areas. Clean restrooms and the cabins are the perfect size for a thanksgiving retreat.

This place is beautiful! Restrooms are very clean. We rented shelter #4. It is the best because it overlooks the beautiful lake. There's also a golf course and a really nice driving range. Beautiful cottages for rent as well. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful small, State Parks. This is a great place for families to come with children. It is smaller than most state parks I've visited, but absolutely gorgeous views of the lake with lily pads, water lilies, trees, pretty flowers, lots of butterflies, and greenery. There are several campgrounds as well. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit this park, but if you're in the area, it is a must stop location for a but of nature soul nourishment.Playground: Large playground with plenty of seating for parentsRestrooms: Clean restroomsDog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on 6" leashesPicnic area: Plenty of picnic tables and a BBQ area sound the lake.

It is amazing what a few weddings per year can do to a state park. It is very obvious that this place is designed for large parties. There is a brand new mini putt putt, golf course, basketball courts, as well as expansions being done onto the welcome center. Some of the nicest pop pop golf. I’ve ever seen both private and at a state park! We did not get to play because it was after 5 PM, which is when they close services. There is an outdoor venue that is brand new, and it’s definitely designed to house weddings as it is picturesque and very clean. There seems to be a very large amount of picnic areas and very few camper areas which is fine by us. The lake is very small and has one small boat launch but it’s really nothing to talk about. We did not play golf here but we’ve heard good things about it from the one person we met.The park is directly inside the city of Reidsville. So you take a turn directly off the road pass a high school and then enter the state park. A little bit odd but still this place seems design for weddings lol not so much is a State Park. And it’s obvious they are making great money doing it.

This was our first trip to Jack Hill. It will not be our last. The park is very nice, clean, and all the rangers as well as the staff at the park were awesome! There are hookups with sewer and very level for camping. The park is in the middle of town and we didn’t have to drive anywhere once we setup. Very good cell service and if you have a mobile internet. You’ll have no trouble streaming anything for the kids. The bathhouse is in the middle of the campground so no matter what site you’re in. It’s very accessible. There were several playgrounds and they have tons of activities for everyone. Golf course, miniature golf, splash pad, fishing, and of coarse hiking trails.

I have been to this wonderful property twice now for different family reunions, and I can say that this is a great place to go for a brief trip, or any sort of get together or celebration!Amenities include cottages, a golf course, campsites with RV hookups, a pond where you can rent boats, a small nature trail, a splash pad, quite a few playgrounds, and shelters. There's also a miniature golf course, but they are in the works of renovating it and making it bigger!

It was a fun experience. The only problem I had were the bugs, and the cleaning supplies. I went to mop, and the bucket was filled with dirt and dust, and some small pieces of trash. There was some hair in the bathtub but I was able to clean it out. The bugs were very annoying. There was a spider in my bathroom. But overall it's a nice place to stay, would recommend.

I often drive through the park just to admire the lake, which is beautiful any time of year.

Beautiful, clean cottage despite a few bugs and a deer sighting. Large showers/tubs and makeup washcloths were a plus.Very peaceful and quiet. Main TV stopped working and third TV wouldn't turn on.Unable to complete nature trail due to fallen trees and overgrown limbs.

New cabin lodging, dog friendly! Fantastic cabins, fully stocked with 2 bdr/bath x 2 queen beds each. Full kitchen, gas fireplace. More like a new home than a state park cabin. Limited hiking options in park.

This is a hidden gem. The park is so beautiful, serene, and uniquely different with updated cabins with all the amenities of a home away from home. The staff are friendly and the cabins are so spacious and modernized. I am looking forward to going back and having my 55th birthday party there because they have a group family building that can be rented. I highly reccommend Jack Hill State Park!!!

We rented 3 of the cabins all close to each other. We had a great time. Lake isn't really very big but they normally have boats but we had to bring our kayaks since covid has their rentals closed. Really wise the splash pad had also been open. Kids would have loved that. But over all nice low key quite spot to get together and grill and have a fire.

Jack Hill State Park was a good park to visit. We stayed in a RV campsite with full hookups which was a plus. They have campgrounds, cottages, golf course, miniature golf, play grounds, picnic shelters, splash pad (not open when we visited), small lake, geocache, and nature trail. The trail could have the vines trimmed more and could not get to the lookout due to a swampy area. We had to remove leaves and pine needles when we played miniature golf. Overall, nice park and we enjoyed our visit. The camp map, some signs inside the park as well as Google Maps still have it listed under it's previous name instead of Jack Hill.

Nice, clean little campground. Sites are not too close and are staggered so you are not looking at your neighbor when sitting outside. The camp host was very friendly and stopped by to introduce himself and find out if we needed anything. Also, even though we were running late to check in, the office staff waited until we got there before closing and were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very enjoyable camping experience!

Cute campground with a large pond for fishing. Kayaks and Jon boats available to rent. One of the smaller state Park campgrounds I have been to in Georgia so far. The grounds are clean the bathrooms are spotless with hot showers. Laundry room was clean and a little more expensive than the other state parks i have visited. Small nature trail that I believe is a mile long. Staff at check in was amazing. The lady was very friendly and even allowed me to drive through the campground and pick which spot I wanted out of what was available.

Nice small park, I'm not sure if they are improving or declining. On the good side they have some nice ideas like an outdoor fitness area, some very nice playgrounds that they were replacing the mulch to keep them nice, cool geocaching, petal boats to rent and they are building new cabins. The lake is small but nice, the water lilies along the edge were flowing so it was quite beautiful. The not so nice is that the mini golf looks like it was nice and one point and it has good bones, but it really needs to be resurfaced and the drainage fixed and a couple good coats of paint. The nature trail is just a path on the backside of the camping area, a backyard trail. There aren't any other trails for hiking. They had a certified butterfly pollinators garden area that was really just an empty raised bed of sandy soil.We stayed in one of the cabins for the weekend and it had some minor problems that should have been fixed, both light bulbs on the back porch were out and one of the cabinets was only hanging on by one hinge, but instead of taking a screwdriver and fixing it, it was closed so you couldn't tell until you opened it.The cabin we stayed in was very handicapped accessible with a ramp, roll in shower, and handicapped friendly kitchen set up. Outside the cabin had a standard small charcoal grill with a picnic table, a fire pit with a nice bench swing that looks like the supports had been recently replaced. There is some old oak trees with Spanish moss, some magnolia, and of course, lots of pine.Overall it's a nice place and I'm adding it to my list of places I'd like to come back to.

This park surprised us! Not only do they have camping and cottage rentals, you can also rent various small boats, play at the playground, visit the splash pad, or play a round of mini golf! Lots of fun!

My family I rented two cabins to celebrate Christmas together. The cabins provided the warmth of home with sufficient space to cook and eat.

This Georgia State Park is great! Fishing pond, kids Jungle Jim and 18 hole golf course with 30 RV camping spots. We'll be back because 2 nights wasn't enough time to do everything and I definitely want to play the golf course again whenever I get a chance. The park isn't huge, but it's a gem. Pictures are from the cart path that connects the front nine with the back nine. Go!
