Super cute winery. Did a tasting for $15 and then had a glass outside while I listened to some live music. There was plenty of parking available. It was a perfect stop for a day in the mountains!

We did a day of winery tours and hands down this was by far the best wine. We started with a tasting and ended up getting a glass to sit outside. My only complaint is it would be better to be able to take the tasting to the table so we could relax and enjoy- we felt rushed by doing the tasting inside.

Wow! What a beautiful property! Very peaceful and just a nice place to enjoy the breathtaking mountain views and a glass of wine!Also, this winery allows you to bring outside food for you to enjoy, which is pretty cool. People were here having picnics which is a cute idea.Highly recommend you go and visit!

Did a very rainy visit to 12 Spies yesterday the 11th of April. The tasting was yummy and we got a bottle of the Revolution Red to enjoy with our lunch out on the deck. So relaxing and mellow we changed plans and just spent the afternoon there and enjoyed a second bottle of the Revolution Red along with an excellent box of their chocolate candies which REALLY set the wine off well. This was our 4th or 5th visit and we'll always come back whenever we're visiting the area! Left with a couple bottles of their tasty Chardonnay too!

So glad we stopped here!!! Best Muscadine wine I’ve ever had and the Holy Moses is another experience! Lauren was awesome and super helpful telling us all about the wines. Plus the vibes of just sipping a glass of wine with the view was fantastic.

We are visiting from Florida as our friend has a home in Franklin. It was the most wonderful afternoon! We started in the tasting room and made our way out to the porch where there was live music. Lauren, the owner’s daughter was absolutely delightful. We spent time talking to her about the winery. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very charismatic. We all did a tasting and then ordered glasses. Every wine we tasted was delicious which is a rarity. On our way out we spoke with the owner who made us feel so welcomed. We spent a few hours there and enjoyed the beautiful wines and every aspect of the winery!

My boyfriend and I went to 12 spies about half an hour before closing and shared a 15 dollar tasting, and we had a wonderful time! Donna was very helpful and lovely to talk to, the wines were great (we ended up bringing home a bottle of the Viognier 2021), and the view was outstanding. I'm so disappointed we came here on one of our last nights of visiting, because I would love to come back once there's live music!

The winery and vineyard were wonderful. Tasted 4 wines and bought one to take back to the Air B&B. It paired well with fresh apple and charcuterie board. When we were there they had a a singer at the outside covered patio. It's a beautiful fun place.

Great experience! Thank you for being opened when everything else is closed!! Beautiful place to sip on wine, play corn hole and a very welcoming experience with lauren who knows her stuff! Great open place to bring your dog, tons of seating outside or inside. (Coolest and very clean bathroom too) Happiest of holidays(: Will absolutely recommend to our friends!

What a pleasant surprise tucked away between Clayton and Dillsboro. Dog friendly for those of y'all who cannot function without your four-legged family members. For the adults in the crowd, there are four signs that say 21 years or older. We're grateful that a kid-less environment around alcohol still exists in a beautiful venue. Don't get us wrong, we love kids but our experiences with parents and young children are not always positive. Knowledgeable staff, not pretentious at all. Scenic views, live music, and coveted seating. Check out the restroom sink for a little chuckle.

This is only the 2nd time we have been to this winery. Each visit has been very pleasant. Today we heard the Saturday guest singer Monica Spears as we pulled up. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. We did a tasting and brought home a bottle to have with dinner.

12 Spies Vinyards is one of the great treasures in Rabun Gap. They have amazing staff and the owners are very warm and welcoming. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. By yourself or bring a group of friends, you can't go wrong coming here.My wife loves the mulled wine on a cool afternoon. Anytime we are back in the area we plan to stop by .

Great little vineyard inthe mountains . Nice place to enjoy with the family. Big open field for the kids to play around. They have live music and on fridays the make fresh pizza.

We stopped in after horseback riding at Dillard House. What a great little venue with a view. The restroom has the most unique sink I have ever seen, and I love the creative repurposing. We hung out on the patio and listened to some entertainment until closing and went home with a refreshing bottle of Front Porch Peach.

Saturday was the 1st time I had a chance to engage with owner Mike and his daughter Lauren. Now I understand what it is that makes this such a great destination with great wines! Perhaps off season but....the changing fall colors were amazing and Donna, our hostess, was wonderful... friendly and knowledgeable. More importantly, the wines were delicious! We tried the Chardonnay which was delightfully crisp...the Pinot Noir, very good, the red blend that was quite tasty and Lynn's favorite, the cabernet sauvignon, Deliciously Smooth. I was curious about the Cabernet Franc which Donna called the 'Gentleman's' wine . Guess that's why I liked it...lol .Smoky and smooth. We'll definitely be returning for more! Thanks, Donna!

This was a nice winery tucked away with some amazing mountain views. They offer a $1 per sample wine tasting so you can get to know their wines while learning a little bit about the place. After our wine tasting we picked our favorites and sat in their outside area to enjoy the beautiful view and some fresh air. The staff working were all very friendly and welcoming.

We stopped here after a day of hiking and we had an amazing experience! They close @ 6pm not at 8pm as Google stated but they were very accommodating and let us stay after closing to watch the sunset! Our hosts even recommended a place for us to stay overnight and what a great recommendation! The wine selection was amazing. We picked a Sauvignon Blanc to enjoy at the patio. We will definitely visit again! 🍷☀️🍷
