I had a different experience today and I have changed my review. I don't know what happened, but my chicken wings looked nothing like the chicken breast usually did. The grease had to have been dirty because the wings were almost black, even with the Chipotle sauce and I had 2 big fries and 1 inch crumbs. I am so disappointed, Mr. Jack tried to redo the wings. They were OK, but that grease made the second batch dark as well. That's why they get a 2 star because he tried, but nothing like my previous experiences. Sometimes you just can't eat in every Mom and Pop restaurant when traveling, I'm just saying...

We have eaten pepper Jack's atleast 10 times in the past 3 months. The wings and tenders are spot on. I like crunchy fries so I specify that because they are soft to my liking. My wife had the fried flounder Friday night and it was delicious. The sandwiches and salads are always a nice option. I don't think you can beat ther food for the price. Good food, friendly staff, reasonably priced... total hit with our family.

Since Moving to the Great Town of Portal, GA. Pepper Jack's since 2014. Richard and the Entire staff here have been nothing but kind to Our Family. Mom Loved it especially there Hamburger Steak With Gravy Onion Rings or French fries and God the Cole slaw can't forget about that. Madonna and the Rest of the Lady's always has my Cocos hot and ready my Chuiahah will only Eat Pepper Jack's wings Like her Daddy. A great place to call in your Order and swing thru the drive thru and pick it up. Or dine in in and Very nice Rustic Dining room. Thanks for the thousands of meals y'all cooked for us over these years. Kelly.

This place is a little out of the way if you don’t live right in Portal, but it is well worth the drive out there. The food was so good, and you just can’t beat their prices either. I was very surprised at the quality of everything, and the staff was nice and patient with everyone that was there.

So, i've ordered almost everything on the menu by now and we seem to go here at least 5 meals a week. I haven't had anything particularly amazing yet, but nothing terrible either. It's a solid 3 out of 5 on food at McDonald's prices. Drive thru is pretty quick as well. Most of the staff are consistently friendly except maybe one lady, and it seems like i see the customers and everyone seems to know everyone. I'd give this place a 3 or 3.5 , but will round up to 4 to support local business.

Farovite hambugars, lemon cake, and brownie restaurant. If u have not been go check them out. U will enjoy it the staff is awesome, friendly and will make just day very well respected. They know exactly what I order before I even say anything very on point. See y'all next time

Looked like a nice place to stop and eat while driving through so we gave it a shot. Walking in is confusing, don’t know where to go, sit down, order… after we ordered and sat down and received our food one of our orders was wrong. Everyone was nice, great atmosphere, food was OK, nothing to write home about.

Me & my husband ordered food tonight, for the first time and was disappointed. I got chicken fingers and fries and they look like nuggets which was fine but tasted like old grease. My husband got the hamburger steak dinner and he said it was a big disappointment.

Worst customer service ever a fat, nasty white girl I don’t know who she is but every time I hear her voice it makes my ear aches. She had the worst customer service I ever know what a smart mouth, but not a face to match it worse customer service ever I could give it to zero but you gotta zero.

Cheap food. Wrong. It's cheap prices for good cooking. Wonderful place to eat easily one of my favorites. If you order big expect a wait, good food does come with some time and care put into it.

It was our first time eating at Pepper Jacks and i'm sad to say it was probably the worse meal I gave ever had. The sweet waiter told me the fish was usually much better. I should have asked for a hamburger but I ate the terrible french fries and macaroni salad. The hamburgers and subs are probably ok but we will never go back.
