The woman works there is high or something. She was rude to my wife. She claimed my puppy doesn’t have rabies shot expiration day. She wanted to see 1 year rabies shot. My puppy isn’t 1 year old yet. He just got the shot last week. My wife showed the paper and patiently explained to her, but she still couldn’t comprehend. There is another associate took my puppy in. She cut my puppy ear I think it is intentional. Never come back again.

This is my second at the Pet Smart in Pooler both times I had an interaction with Eddie and he so professional and knowledgeable in his job. The associates are all very friendly and love what they do. The excitement to put bows in our Muhla hair warmed my spirit.

The store was well lit, and the layout made things easier for me to find. The signs helped to know the lanes having the items I wanted. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also enjoy watching the pet grooming.

It was busy but not excessively. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I found what I wanted and went to checkout. The line was starting to grow. Another checkout was opened right away. I found plenty of variety on the shelves that made shopping easy. Great visit.

Pet smart grooming service is the worst! Do not waste your time going here! They will find any little reason not to service your pet. I went to Woof gang with no issues that Red H. stated which was my dog was matted in the ears. Anyways, if it’s not Eddie please reconsider your appointment. He was terrific every time he serviced us. Do not book under Red H.

I like this place. My only complaint is that if you're only accepting card and not cash, it needs to be displayed better than on that little kiosk. I was just trying to get a 4 lb bag of special dog food that my dog needs because of his GI issues. I honestly cannot feed him hardly anything else because it was determined that he was either born with thus condition or contacted it before I got him. Anyhow, vet bills can be expensive, and this month has been hard. I have 2 surgeries next week and the VA is being difficult for reimbursing my travel of appts that I must attend to get these procedures. So it has been hard and haven't been low on funds for a long while. I couldn't even get a 4 lb bag because your machine was broken and my dog had to go without food. Now, I hope this is resolved so I don't have to drive 30 minutes out my way and burn more gas that I cannot afford to lose because I have to travel back to Charleston tomorrow for 5 appointments. I understand that there can be issues, but it made me feel embarrassed when I was asked about a card, followed by I'm sorry and taking the bag from me for my dog. There were ppl behind me and it was just embarrassing.

I wish I could leave 0 stars! This is the SECOND time we have gotten a single fish from here and it has killed our entire tank! I’ve had my exotic loach and catfish tank for almost 3 years. The cleanest, healthiest tank you’d ever seen, I get ONE fish from here and within days all my vibrant healthy fish are DEAD. This happened years ago to my Fathers tank as well! They need to hire people with more fish knowledge, clean their tanks better, and overall take care of their fish as in medicine treatments! This is absolutely unacceptable and devastating. Of course if you try to tell them, they won’t care. They just punch a clock and go home, hire people with more animal care, cause this staff doesn’t care at all!!

So first , MaryJane is so sweet ! Is an awesome employee !The guy who works in the live animal section is so rude . I understand when buying a new pet you need to be educated . Which is fine but he made me feel stupid and had a rude response and just seemed irritated.Other than that this pet smart is very clean and for the most part the employees were very helpful

Cheyenne absolutely loved our trip to PetSmart in Pooler, GA. She shopped for Halloween costumes and toys. For a minute there she thought she was a cat and ended up on the cat aisle. Although she didn't come home with those items, she did find her favorite food lamb and rice by Authority. It was a great trip as she got a lot of attention. lol

Colleen from Pooler GA Petsmart is incredibly rude. I know she was just trying to do her job but she went about it completely wrong. Gave serious attitude when we were buying beta fish and tanks for them. She was so sure that it would die because we didn't have a filtered, heated, led lit 5 gallon tank and she took my mom's recipt and crossed off our warranty because we bought reptile tanks for them because they were cheaper. Funny how they require all of this but have their betas in a plastic container with no lights or filtration but they want you to have one when you purchase it or your warranty will no longer be valid.

This review is extremely late, but I wanted some time to pass in the hope that it would be more meaningful. Before I begin, I am not a resident of Poolet or Savannah. I was visiting for my nephew's little league football tourmament from Atlanta. On August 14, 2022, I was leaving the Dunkin Donuts nearby when I spotted a tiny little kitten that run under my SUV. When I tried to get it out, it ran underneath the vehicle next to me. Afraid that something might happen to it, I waited until the owner came out and waved her down. She looked as shocked as I was and immediately got out of her vehicle. Positioned on either side of her vehicle, she lured the kitten to me and I caught it. Poor thing was incredibly underweight and exhausted. As it turns out, the woman who owned the vehicle was an employee at this Petsmart and she was on her way to work! Kitten in hand, I was invited to follow behind her. The entire time, the kitten was practically catatonic (pardon the pun). By the time we arrived, I ended up getting attached (go figure). So, instead of finding a shelter for the kitten to go to, I decided to keep him. The woman and another employee both helped me to make sure that I had everything I would need for a new kitten, even pushing the cart and gathering all the items while I held the kitten. They even opened up one of the cans and prepared some wet food for the kitten to eat while ringing up my purchase, before sending me on my way with smiles. These two wonderful women are Abby and Laine, and they are exceptional human beings. Thank you for all of your help. Thank you for your concern and compassion. Thank you for your time! The kitten is now back up to a healthy weight and he is lovingly looked after by my two older cats, his new surrogate mother and father. Attached are pictures from his first day home versus today, as well as his surrogate parents.P.S. All three cats are fixed and vaccinated and indoor only.

First time using this service and I was told they would be cute short, there was a fur patch diagram they used, this was not what I got, the were cute to skin. The girl that cut them I don't feel like she knew what she was doing and was questioning everything with by asking the other groomer or calling my vet, she called them two times. The Pomeranian had to wear a heavy sweater for about a week because she was shivering and to protect her skin from burning when she went outside. She didn't understand they regulate their temperature with their fur and undercoat. If I use them again I would not use her.

Male friend of mine went in for blue Buffalo dog food and he asked the man (store clerk) to check the back for a bigger bag the clerk stated” what’s on the shelf is what it is” without attempting to check for me poor customer service at its finest

This review is for the grooming dept only. The only thing they are professional at doing is wasting your time. I had an appt booked weeks in advance and drove over an hour to this location. Upon arrival they spent a solid 30 minutes trying to find any reason they possibly could not to groom our dog. They ultimately turned us away because our vet could not guarantee she wouldn’t have a seizure while she was there. She has them so infrequently that she is not even under care for them. Even if she was, seizures are simply not predictable. There is nothing that indicates they won’t groom your dog without a vet’s guarantee while booking. NO vet can guarantee what will or won’t happen to the dog at an entirely separate business. They are vets, not magical fortune tellers. I also feel like this was a total waste of my vets time as this “new policy” of health guarantee is something no vet can offer. This dog is 9 years old and in all those years we have never once been turned away from a haircut for epilepsy at any groomer. I have a feeling even if she didn’t have this condition they would have found another reason. The whole experience was highly unprofessional. I will never bring another animal here for grooming and I highly advise other pet owners steer clear of this place for grooming services.

This was my first visit to this location. It's on the small side compared to other big-brand pet stores. They have a decent selection of merchandise. However, I came specifically to get a photo with Santa Paws. I wasn't sure what to expect because I'd never taken my fur baby for a Santa photo before. The service is completely free, so don't expect an authentic-looking Santa. I used my phone to take a photo because their equipment was down. I do appreciate the service, and I bought a few treats while I was there, and the employees were somewhat friendly. They weren't overly helpful with trying to get a decent photo, though thatwas on me. Overall, I am happy they offer this service to pet parents at no charge. I'm a little disappointed because I had higher expectations.

Don’t buy fish here!!!!They all have visible “ich” and no one cares enough to isolate the sick fish in a quarantine tank, as any responsible pet store would do. Support a smaller, local pet store like, “Exotic Underworld.” In the long run it will save you money!

Grooming salon is horrible. TWICE my pitbull has been refused. First time they said he was too hyper so I waited a few months brought him today with trazodone. Then they said he was too sleepy. The manager there is racist and rude Julie the groomer apparently only likes little dogs big dogs she can’t do as she was scared, it took her 20 minutes to put his rabies vaccines in. She was clueless but yet everybody in the store was petting my dog and him walking through the store but yet he was so sleepy according to them, Will never ever go here again. Beware go elsewhere. I even waited to speak to a store manager but the salon Manager kicked me out at the store he was aggressive and rude.

I set up an appointment for my dog at the groomers and expected them to be able to handle something as simple as matted hair. I have cut her hair many times and we wanted a professional to do it this time so it would looked better, but they couldn't do it because it was something they didn't do. If that's the case, what is the point of having a groomer station here if you can't figure out how to cut or shave a dog's hair? If something simple like this is a problem, what else aren't you doing and charging for?

Not usually a box store fish buyer, but since moving to the area, I've been fairly impressed with the tanks here. It's very rare to see any dead or stressed fish, and I've had nothing but success with the fish I have purchased here. Not all the staff are super knowledgeable about the fish, but they all seem to care about them so there is that.

Overall nice, very friendly staff, not very quick to a customer but willing to overlook that cause the staff is so friendly. Knowledgeable. Pricey. For the most part pretty expensive. Will continue shopping here tho. It's where I got my beardie from and he is a year old now. He is my baby. Very healthy and loving. I get all his needs here as well.

bad scheduling process. eddie the manager called and refused the dog 30min before schedule. they should call 2 or 1 days before they can reschedule. didn't even apologize. reported to hq but nobody responded for 2 months.

I don’t have any dogs so this review isn’t for the grooming section. Their store is clean and stocked, and it’s always fun to come in to see what animals they have. They all look to be well fed and taken care of any time k go in. I used to go in to see if they had any freshwater snails in stock for my carnivorous rosy wolf snail, which was never unfortunately. Other nearby locations would rarely have them in stock too unfortunately.
