If you need anything from hammers 🔨 & bolts 🔩 to gardening supplies 👩‍🌾 & boots 👢, you must go here! The staff looks young, but they sure do know their stuff about their products! The on-site security, Bob the bobtail cat, is fantastic and will enjoy a head rub 🐈‍⬛

Let me tell you ! I go there frequently sometimes twice a day!!! Never had a bad experience!!!! The prices!!! You need to check!!! I have actually bought wood and stuff there cheaper than the big box stores!!! For those of you who want to use $10.00 of gas to save $2.00 well heres your sign!!! I will continue to go there till I die! Hats off to the great service there!!! Headed there this morning!!!

I live half way between Columbus and Pine Mountain so have a choice. I chose yesterday to go to Pine Mountain even though I knew I would pay more. The young man that assisted me was friendly and knowledgeable. Then I went to the checkout. I realize this may sound petty but she made me feel like I was trying to steal a dime. Note: there was no one in line behind me. My total was $11.10. I gave her $11.00 and said something about the dime I knew I had. With a HUGE SIGH she said just give me another dollar. While getting another dollar, I found my dime. When I gave her my dime,, there was another HUGE SIGH. I believe she thought I was stealing or wasting her time. Jimmy Dent would NEVER permit this attitude, nor will I.

I love the people that work here including that chunky cat..he's great...the prices are a bit steep for my tax bracket but amazing store!!! It's always clean and stocked; the employees are so friendly and helpful..I look for excuses to go see the chuby cat that took up there now

I still give them the five stars with the high prices I mean you're paying for the convenience if you have a large order, a remodel makes sense to go to Columbus or LaGrange but these boys up here to take care of you and I've known em my whole life just good folks. Combined with their foresight and experience very rare do they not know what you need but I'll also the step before and after 2 which is tougher to find in the chain store employees

Walked in and immediately received a helping hand. The young men working there were very helpful. Also met a tailless cat. Had to do a double take to make sure I wasn't tripping on a hallucinogenic.

I love these kinds of hardware stores and have come here frequently over the years when camping at the state park. If they don't have what you need they'll get it quick. Best of all as opposed to the big boxes they give you advice along with whatever it is they're selling period each person in the store is an expert in different areas and they know what they're talking about. It's not a discount store but still a good value because you're going to end up okay here.

This is a great place to get your building supplies. They have just about everything you need. The Staff there are friendly and treat you like family. If they don't have what you need they will always point you in the right direction to were you could find it.

A great local place to grab the stuff you need in a pinch. I don't think I've been in there and they didn't have what I was looking for. If so, it's pretty rare; they usually have the stuff that I forgot at The Big Box store. Unlike those stores, the people working there are easy to find, super friendly, and super helpful.

Friendly staff always greets you. No need to search for things, just ask and someone will take you right to what you want. Very good prices on merchandise.

This is the only harware store for probably 15 miles, they went up a few pages in my book once they started carrying fishing gear, there are hunting items available as well, prices are a little steeper than you would usually pay, the staff is extremely helpful and always willing and eager to help you find anything you are looking for

It's ok the staff are ready to help but the price is to mush. Tou can get what you need now for mush more or drive 15 minutes and get it much more cheaper it's up to you.

When you return to establishment to return a lawn tractor battery for the third time you expect some kind of an apology for having to return three times for the same reason. You dont expect to have the owner of the store mr. Stokeley to come out from the back yelling at you and berating you for a manufacturers defect, which he will get his investment back from THE maker of diehard batteries for aaid defects. I am then told by the cashier that the business that fixed my lawn tractor didnt know what they were talking about regarding said battery. They've been in by business aince 1948, I'm sure they have aomw knowledge about lawn tractors and know how to tell if a battery is defective.So im standing there now raising my voice as a reaction to the owners attitude trying to explain that the batteries are not holding charge and that im not trying to entertain myself by visiting Ace hardware to return batteries and that i just wanted to exchange. Again im yelled at and threatened physically by the owner and told that he wouldnt exchange the battery and to "buy one from the establishment i had my zero turn mower serviced because im sure they sell batteries too". So before this escalates further i tell the cashier to give us our money back and take my frustrated self out of store and yes the establishment that serviced my mower does sell batteries and i havent had an issue since i inatalled one of their batteries in my mower. Needless to say Ace hardware in Pine Mountain will never earn any future business from me, but it would be a good idea for the owner and cashier to learn a little commin decency and customer skills.

Keep in mind, this is a small town hardware store, and they won't have everything you may need; that being said, they have a surprising selection! Also, the prices tend to be a little higher; think of this as a convenience tax.
