Ace is the place for your Hardware needs. Knowledgeable staff for the most part. Makes shopping their fast and painless. A few things were out of stock that was needed, but picked up the major stuff that I needed at the time. Went back and got the out of stock items a few days later. Would recommend to anyone in need of Hardware or gardening items.

Bought a Japanese maple Emperor 1 (first time seeing it anywhere in the area), so bought one. No warranty like Lowe’s Home Depot etc. Needless to say, the tree has a fungal disease that they had sprayed around the garden area for. They knew there was an issue because they were spraying for it and yet none of the workers dared say anything when I dropped over $100 for this tree. Avoid buying any plants from this establishment and company. They’ll take your money but won’t stand by their plants.

This is the highest end in Ace shopping. I came back the next day with a friend admiring their wind chime selection. Amazing.I was very disappointed in the Closet Maid selection. This region has major camper store sells thus folks like myself need to retrofit their camper for their needs. With the traffic from surrounding camp grounds and the huge camper show out regularly at the State Fair Grounds they need to up their game. The Hawkinsville store is much more prepared for our needs with a big camp ground and small ones as well.

I cannot recommend this Ace enough. I recently purchased a Milwaukee product from a different store, in a different state, and had problems with it. I took it to this store wanting to do an exchange not realizing that they were all independently owned and that it wasn’t just a simple exchange. I explained the situation, and Jason & Brian got me taken care of. They even went so far as to test the replacement to make sure I didn’t have the same problem, and actually caught that one of the batteries were bad. Shopping locally with folks who care is certainly well worth it, even when you weren’t local to them originally. If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would.

We love the garden department at this Ace. It is worth a trip to Perry when it is seasonal planting time. We have been buying our annual flowers there for several years and several trees as well. We have never been disappointed. The employees are always friendly and helpful.

As we walked the store we were approached several times by employees asking if we needed any help finding anything - which was appreciated :) Store has a surprisingly large selection of garden supplies & unique outdoor decor!

We love the variety that you offer. We purchased a defective metal flower container for our deck along with plants to go in it. We returned the item within an hour and a half and was treated terribly by Wanda. She was very rude and at first wasn't going to allow us to return the plants that we purchased to go in the container. We didn't notice the container was defective at the time we purchased it and didn't need the plants that we wanted to put in it. You didn't have a replacement that we could exchange and it wouldn't fit our deck railing. There is not a notice on the door stating No Returns On Plants. This could have been handled professionally but instead, she acted very unprofessional, rude, and embarrassing. Other customers were standing around. She told me she didn't know if we had bugs at home! I have never been treated like this in any store I have shopped at.

Had an issue with a Traeger I bought from Ace which is not their fault but I ended up with a new one from Traeger. Since it was new in the box I asked if I could possibly return it. I made it clear it didn't matter to me either way that I wasn't mad at Ace but the manager Jason said he would look into it and asked me to call him in a few days if I didn't hear from him. I did and he said he would call me the next day after talking with Traeger. Still haven't heard from him over a week later and I've tried calling and he is never there. One employee took my name and said they left him a note on his office door and still nothing. I'm not upset if they won't take it back it's just very unprofessional to tell someone you're going to look into something and get back with them and just leave them in the dark.

This particular Ace has very decent selection of products, and the employees know their stuff! I visit them regularly for things the big box guys may not have, and so I don't have to drive as far. The only reason for four stars and not 5 is because like all Ace stores, their prices are a bit high. 95% of their employees are happy to help, but they have a few that are rude and could care less about assisting. Overall, good store though.
