I love this place but its not about me. My Patches, or Patty as we call her, a 13 yr old mix chihuahua, loves them so much. She actually allowed them to paint her toenails and she smelled like some sweet baked cakes or cookies. Mrs. Patty Carlile is a happy lil lady. She loved her spa day with you guys on Monday but she came home and slept for 12 hours so she must of had so much fun. Thanks for taking sweet care of my special girl. She wouldn't allow me to take a good picture but she also had on a purple necklace 💜

Absolutely a Five Star 💫 experience. My German Shepherd had been going to Petsmart for the last 5 years but it got to the point where she would refuse to enter their salon, not good!!! I messaged Bark Avenue and they did an amazing groom on her. She is a white German Shepherd with 3 undercoats!!! You can literally make a blanket with her fur. Luna looks and smells amazing. We will be back!!!!

We are new to the area and this was our first visit. I chose this place due to convenience and they could squeeze my 3 in within the week. The salon does smell like dogs and cats but that is to be expected for a place that cares for animals…no different than a vets office or other high volume salons I have used. They did absolutely wonderful on my pups haircuts, exactly as I asked. Also, my senior dachshund can be aggressive with nail trims but they got hers perfectly short. Super happy and will definitely be a repeat customer!

We have had our pup Lucy for three years and have taken her to so many groomers with no success. I ended up just doing a armature choppy job myself! We have had Lucy groomed by Melissa several times now and Lucy has NEVER looked better! We are so pleased with the quality of her work and Lucy is never anxious about going or when she comes back! Lucy’s brother Jax’s parents have tried multiple groomers all over Atlanta and Macon and could not find anyone the were pleased with. They currently make the drive every month just to have Melissa groom him! She is amazing!! We love her and our fur babies LOVE her! Thank you Melissa!!!

Super professional experience! They took such amazing and gentle care with my 13yo girl and my special needs 9yo boy. I've never had another groomer so knowledgeable about disorders and handling techniques! Let alone how insanely talented with different coat types. To say that they are one of the most reasonable on prices? UNDERSTATEMENT. I sat and watched for a while how the other customers and their pets, reacted when they came in...to tell you I was in awe is yet another UNDERSTATEMENT! For all those talking about "it smells like dogs in there" allow me to throw something out to you all... they Groom the dirty dogs we don't want to...my vet smells...my boarding facility...he'll even my doctors office smells of either cleaners or the clients that need them. Think about that the next time you are "offended that a pet place smells of pets" as for my family, we will 10,000% be back!

Called to see if needed apt, no apt needed, friendly great staff was very helpful & knowledgeable. They did a quick job on my German Shephard which is only her 2nd time getting nails done other than from vet at apts, she was of course very nervous & anxious, the lady just asked how i felt i said a little anxious also, so she said best to just put her on the table & do it rather than me holding onto her because she would get my anxiety also & may make her worse. Ashoka was a little stubborn but then groomer just picked her up, finished i like 5 min & very reasonable! I didnt have change so she said no worries if you come next time i can just pay then, i thought this was amazing since our 1st time, not knowing if i was definitely coming back! My only flaw was just looked a little full but she did prepare me to come after 10am so i assume these are pups/dogs she has already groomed waiting for owners to pick up. I will be taking my girl back to get her more comfortable with the process, shampoo & nails are next! thanks again for the great quick work!

The smell in this salon is absolutely unbearable. Cigarette smoke dog and cat do not mix! Very very disappointed in this salon. When I first found it located in beautiful downtown Perry I was so excited but it is not a sanitary place. Come on Bark Avenue you can do better! Clean it up and make it Perry Proud!

It was my first time taking my poodle puppy to be groomed here. The shop was cute and clean, the owner was very nice, and my boys haircut was adorable. Scheduling for this appointment was also very easy and didn’t take weeks to get in. We will definitely be going back.

Very pleased with their service. Willow is a rough collie with lots of hair so I'm sure she was extra work. Price was very reasonable. She looks beautiful and smells great. Will definitely go back.

It was our first time going here so I assumed my dogs would be very shy and might give them a hard time but they walked in and went straight back without a care in the world. The staff is super nice and does an amazing job! My dogs haven’t looked this good in a long time. We will definitely be using them again :)

You can never reach anyone here. I leave several messages with no call back so I’m not sure what their service is like but if it’s anything like their communication, you can keep itResponse: My voicemail definitely isn't full and my caller ID works perfectly fine. I have not received a call back. I understand that you take time out for the pets but don't you think potential clients are also important?

Had a small problem initially because I wanted to be able to be present and help with my senior baby, but after playing phone tag with them I was nicely explained why I would be unable to. Later I decided to make an appt. and take her, and just explain my pup's limitations, as they do get rave reviews for being kind & caring. I called twice, got VM both times, and never received call back. I realize cutbacks $$ are important these days, but can't someone get paid or take an hour(?) to at least acknowledge the call & make appts? 👎on that, and I rarely (if ever) publish negatively reviews on a. business. Every one has an "off" day I figure so I don't post negatively on my one-time experience, but 3 attempts playing phone tag is my limit.

We love using Bark Avenue for our dog. She's a terrier mix that get grooming every 2 months or so, and she's loves it there. We would recommend Bark Avenue to anyone looking for a groomer.

Love this groomer! I brought a German Shepherd I was fostering in, and they did an amazing job on her! She smelled Soooo good when I picked her up! Her fur was so soft and shinny. They even painted her nails! I definitely recommend Bark Avenue!!!

They are great on prices and service but I overlooked how messy it is in there. My small dog went a 3rd time this past Sat and had bad dandruff and was itching, he’s currently at the vet because his neck and face are swollen and red and started to bleed. I just had surgery yesterday and came home to this. Will never take him here again.

I left my pets there not knowing how well my two little pom-tzus would do. Needless to say..both me and my babies were treated amazingly and they looked better than they ever have! Definitely going back!

Went there with my elderly dog and the owner was very sweet and tried her hardest to accommodate for my 19 year old dog, she smelled like a freshly baked sugar cookie that you only get around Christmas time. Will definitely go back when I have enough vacation time. 😌 💖

I love this groomer. We have 7 dogs that she grooms, 4 normal, 1 handicapped, 2 crazy ones. She treats them individually and they do well for her, even the crazy ones!❤❤❤ I recommend Bark Avenue for any dog❤❤❤

Kind & friendly atmosphere price for just clipping front nails of my dog tho I felt really expensive, most places charge $10 for both front & back, they charged $20 for just frontBut they did take their time w my nervous German shepherd
