Tri Creek Kennels is such a life saver of a place ! They are located in La Vaquita Flea Market and they are located where all the arcade and pet supplies are located ( easy to find just follow the signs that says “pet supplies” and “kids area.” )When I first went to visit them, I was greeted by their welcoming staff and introduced to some of the dogs that they had for sale. Their bigger dogs are placed out front in big cages and the smaller breeds are located behind the glass windows in smaller cages.I originally went in hopes of finding a Shih-Tzu but unfortunately, they were out of my price range at the time. I came with a set budget for how much I wanted to spend on a new puppy and come to my surprise, Tri Creek Kennels had some shorkies that fit right in my budget range ! At the time I visited, there were 2 Shorkies left, one black and white one male, and one that was almost all black female. I originally wanted to get a male puppy since i already have 2 male shih tzus at home already, but I was instantly in love with the all black female shorkie that they had !If you want to see a dog, you just ask one of their employees wearing the Pet Shop t shirt and they will bring the dog right out to you. Once you are satisfied and set on the dog you want, they let you know that they will bathe the dog prior to sending it home with you so that the dogs are all clean from anything that might’ve made them dirty in the cage. They let you know when the new puppy needs their shots by providing this pamphlet laying out all the dates that you need to come in for their shots and deworming. What is great about this place is that they provide these services right next door where they groom the puppies and it is fairly priced when compared to local animal hospitals ! They also show you what kind of dog food your pup has been on and also provide about 2 weeks worth of puppy food for you to take home with your new puppy ( just enough time for you to get your own supply.)The payment process was so easy too ! Cash is key guys. The flea market has ATM machines where you can get cash so I would recommend this over using your card so you can just pay the exact amount straight up. They provided me a receipt for the puppy, the shots pamphlet, and even gave me 3 FREE doggy bowls to use for my new puppy’s food and water!I texted Chris afterwards to let him know that I was very happy with my new Fur baby and he was very nice.At Tri Creek Kennels, they have a vast array of puppy breeds for you to choose from!However, the only thing I will say is that depending on the time of the year/season the prices of the puppies do indeed change. I was SUPER lucky to find a shorkie in my budget range when I went, because when I revisited them about 2 weeks later for my puppy’s 2nd dose of shots, I noticed the prices of the shorkie puppies have doubled ! Wow ! I don’t blame them though, the holiday season is coming around and prices of puppies change all the time. Yesterday’s price is not Today’s price !Overall, the process of purchasing my Shorkie was so easy, efficient, and overall a great experience ! I was very happy walking back to my car with my new fur baby in my arms :)

2nd puppy purchased in the last 11 years from Tri-creek- Never had any issues and they were always straight forward with what the dog needs and there pricing. They helped us make a new adorable addition to our family. We are so excited and thankful for Chris and his father. They were also patient and very knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and never seemed annoyed. Thanks for providing ANOTHER quality family members.

Ive been looking for the breeders contact info so i can purchase another pup, but so far no luck! If anyone can provide me with this info, I would greatly appreciate it!

It’s been exactly a week today that I purchased a “malti-poo” puppy from Chris, (2.4.2024) and this has been one of the longest weeks of my life!I was skeptical of purchasing a puppy from a flea market in the first place, but of course I got all of the right answers and impeccable “service” when I swiped my credit card. I was sent home with a can of puppy food and a ziploc bag of puppy chow. Let me also add that this puppy’s mouth wasn’t even big enough to eat the morsels of puppy chow, so we of course opted for the canned food. She refused water almost completely, so I gave her water from a syringe.Three days into our puppy journey, she began to refuse food completely, and by the fourth morning she was extremely sick. Luckily I am a nurse and VERY experienced dog owner and knew to react quickly if I was to “save” this 1.6 lb puppy.Within two hours I had her to the vet, with one of the worst worm infestations they had ever seen in a puppy of her size. It’s been three days of IV fluids around the clock, numerous medications, prescription food, and plenty of vomiting. Luckily, she is turning a corner now, but it was also with ZERO concern from Chris Yearwood. I have called and texted. Voicemail full, no response to text either.This is the first time I have EVER left a negative Google review for anyone, but PLEASE be prepared for ANYTHING when purchasing a puppy, and don’t expect any help from the breeder when you find yourself sitting at an emergency vet appointment not knowing if your puppy will live or die.I now have over $2500.00 invested in this puppy in one week, and I absolutely love her, but I would NEVER do this again!!

I bought my puppy from here 4 months ago, and he is just the cutest little thing. He is a cavapoo, which are very expensive right now, but I got a very good price here. We came right when the flea market opened, and there was already a huge line, so I recommend coming as soon as possible since our pup was literally the last one of his kind left! The only thing is that he had tapeworms when we got him, but we quickly brought him to the vet and he was better within a day.

We purchased a Yorkie-Poo from Tri-Creek Kennels on 05/05/18 and had a great experience. Took him to the vet this morning and he is perfectly healthy. We highly recommend this breeder. Thanks guys for our new puppy!Update 8 months laterThis little guy is awesome. Love to watch him play and run around the house. He has a great personality and loves everyone.

Bought what they had advertised as an English bulldog… paid English bulldog price… dog weighed about 3 lbs… seemed small for a bulldog puppy (bought it thinking it may be the runt of the litter).Ordered a dog DNA test… did it… sent it off for testing… came back as 100% Boston terrier… we had the dog for almost a month at this point. My wife and children had become attached by this point.As SOON as we got the results, we got in the car and drove the 1.5 hours out there to confront the owner. I asked him what the difference in price between the two breeds were, he told me what it was, then I confronted him about it. Before I confronted him, I looked to see if he had any more. Sometime in the 3 weeks we had the puppy, he had changed it from English to old English bulldogs and dropped the price by half (2500 to 1200) in the mean time. He admitted to me that he wasn’t sure what he was selling. Apparently, the owner doesn’t know what he’s buying from the breeders, and is passing on his lack of knowledge onto his customers and is over charging people because of it.He did TRY to make it right and wrote me a check for the difference, which is why they didn’t get a 1 star.On top of that, we bought the dog on 9/24 (at 8 weeks old) and they told us she was born in 7/24… we took her to the vet TODAY… she’s only 8-9 weeks old as of 10/25… they separated the puppy from its mother at only 4-5 weeks. So, he lost another star because of this and is back to 1 star.I do not advise buying ANY dogs from this kennel. You won’t know what you have, the problems associated with the actual breed you bought, which can be detrimental to the animal, as well as your family, and especially your wallet.

I really love this place. I have been talking with Chris Yearwood for a few months now about getting me a red mini Dachshund. He finally succeeded and I'm so in love with her. Wonderful people and true to their word. If you are looking for a particular breed of dog give them a few months and I assure you they will find you one. Thanks Chris for my new addition to the family.

Went to see Chris’s puppies today, and am so happy we did! We didn’t get one today, but talked with Chris, and he’s going to work with us to find our perfect fur baby.A very positive experience. Chris is very down to earth, and all business. Easy to do business with. His prices are reasonable, and he’s been doing this for a very long time. We bought a puppy from Tri-creek kennels back in June. He was 10 weeks old when we got him and were told he was a purebred German Shepherd from a great line and would be huge. We were a little weary from all the reviews of people saying they were sick puppies. His birthday is 3/20/2019. So he’s not quite 5 months yet. He is a perfectly healthy puppy. We had blood work done by our vet and he is 100% pure breed GSD and we filed for his papers through CKC. He is the most amazing, smart, and loyal puppy ever. He is 100% potty trained and can sit, speak, lay down, roll over, shake and we will be signing him up for intense canine training. So pleased with they puppy we got just wanted someone to see that just because there are a few bad reviews they are not all bad!!

I wanted to give them a 5 but I bought a puppy there in early March and was told it was a yorkie-chihuahua only to find out the puppy is a Jack Russell Terrier mix. I was and am so disappointed. I went specifically looking for a smaller dog, that would be between 6-10lbs and not significantly bigger. My pup is now 5 months old, he is precious and all but this isn't it.My puppy is just a little over 5mths old and weighs in at 11.5lbs. This means he is not done growing yet.

Let me start with saying we did buy a puppy from Chris. We bought her on Sunday and took her to Vet on Monday just to have her checked. She is in good health with no problems... in that respect we are happy with our purchase. The puppy is very playful.The one common complaint about Chris in these reviews is he is rude... that is very true, he was also very rude to me and my wife. If you can manage to get past that, he does have nice puppies for sale.

I've never owned a dog this loving and dedicated to his owners as much as this one. He has gone on vacations with us and has made a perfect travel companion also. I bought a English Bulldog from Tri-Creek 5 years ago. She is the healthest most loveable English i have ever known. She was very well priced. Checkups were flawless.Update now 10 years ago 1/24/23. our little girl is getting much older now. She only had one health scare 3 y/a. She got in to the cinnamon raisin biscuits. Got real sick & pulled through. I’m wondering if it would be a good time to introduce a new pup to her. Hope it would possibly rejuvenate her. Definitely don’t want to alienate her. Your thoughts? We got Crouton teacup Maltipoodle We follow exactly Chris instructions to keep him up, now he is a 10 years healthy and happy dog member in our family.2 years ago, we got Klaus, a little more bigger, but same love, same healthy We loved them!! Guys, I have never been more happy with my experience here, about a year ago I purchased a pure-bred puppy named Riley, I was so nervous I walked out of the door with half bred puppy, but it didn't matter I was in love with her already, when I took her to her first vet check up she was healthy as a WHISTLE, and 100 PRECENT beagle, now I will be on my way up there to purchase a German Shepard for my panic disorder tomorrow. I cannot say enough happy words about this company. They are loving and compassionate, educated and they make you feel like family.

Me and my husband purchased 2 dogs from here. A German shepherd, we did a DNA test on her. Lola was 100% German shepherd, then we got Gigi who's supposed to be a maltese and shi tzu mixed. We did a DNA test on her as well, and she is alot of things lol. Although Gigi is not the breed she supposed to be, which does suck. She is the best puppy I've ever had.

Chris is amazing. We bought 2 puppies with Chris. One in February and one in July. We had a great experience. He has such great knowledge on all of the puppies. Takes his time to explain to you how to care for the puppy. Most impressed how well they take care of the animals and how healthy they are. I recommend you buy your puppy here. You will be very satisfied. Our puppies are healthy and thriving and a joy to us.
