Josh has been great with our home maintenance. Last month he advised a few easy tweaks to our chemistry. Last week he cleaned while I was out of town. I came back to the largest corals I have ever seen in my tank.

Off the Hook is exactly that “Off the Hook!” From the first visit, everyone was friendly and helpful. They have educated me so much on fish and corals. Josh is my maintenance guy who comes to my home and cleans my tank (doing a Great Job!). If you get an opportunity visit the store, you will not be disappointed.Donna and Shawna are Great to work with!!!

Josh who does maintenance on fish tanks came by Tuesday to clean my 30 gallon tank. Josh is extremely respectful of the area he was working in and asked permission as to where to dispose of waste water and rinsing out water testing equipment. My tank looks outstanding after his maintenance.I would easily recommend Josh as the person to clean your tanks. You won’t be sorry. Josh is a credit to Off The Hook and a valuable employee.

We always have a great time going into of the hook. Bella has helped us a couple of times and she’s always amazing. Would recommend going if you have any questions about fish or coral for reef tanks. Will continue to be a customer there.

Off The Hook is a fantastic LFS with great fish, corals, and a wealth of knowledge to help you with anything fish related! I only run saltwater setups and every fish I own has came from here. All the fish are super healthy and are of fantastic quality. They have helped me learn the hobby and answered so many questions along the way. Best LFS around by far!

Excellent resource for fish and aquatic owners. Every time I've had water issues or an injured fish, the knowledgeable staff is able to help and point me to the correct products. They have a great selection of healthy fish. This is my first stop before I attempt to hit the major pet stores.

Store was very clean and orderly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought a hammer coral that was a bit pricey, but I like to support independent businesses so that's on me. All in all I had a great experience and will make the hour and a half trip to visit again.

Nice place. Ladies are there. Have good selection of fish and decent selection of coral, pretty much your basic corals. I believe is mainly because of the area not a coral based area, mainly fish and beginners.

Everything you need for your aquarium! No need for PetSmart or Petco! Buy local! Support local! So many nice things to say about my visit. The tanks are clean. The whole store is heated appropriately. Wide range of products and aquatic stock. Plants are growing under water. Fair prices. Very knowledgeable staff! The Betta's are in small tanks, but with the limited space available in the store it's acceptable. Still better than storing them in small cups. I will definitely be going back!

Yesterday was my 2nd time there And MY LAST!! You lost ANOTHER customer. I promise to let EVERYONE know about my several experiences at this location all over social media. My review is very similar to other customers experiences! I've received nothing but RUDE and Disgusting treatment by this manager which I believe is also the owner. All for simply asking questions as a customer would. She is clearly frustrated with her job or discriminates against people that do not look " like her" Whatever the reason she either needs a lollipop or a chill pill!!! At the end of the day customers pay her bills and keep her business going. Hope she realizes that before she is left without any customers.

I've shopped here about a dozen times and the prices are dang near robbery. I bought a 4 oz bottle of Dr. Tims "One and Only" for $40 bucks! Shopping online or at another store, it would have cost about $20; even an 8 oz bottle cost less than what I paid for a 4 oz (An 8 oz cost about $30) Also, if you use a credit card you'll end up paying more because at this store there is a fee associated with using your credit card.

We drove here from Smiths Station, AL and I'm so glad we did! Beautiful stock, great prices, knowledgeable and very nice staff. We've had a saltwater tank for over 10 years so it is nice to find such a great store! We left and forgot our carbon there. Since we paid cash we couldn't do a refund but they were nice enough to send us a gift card. We will definitely be back! :)

I live fairly local to this place. Bought a few things there and they were fairly helpful, even though they forgot to package a fish I asked for on my last order. Walked in today, after having spent a significant amount of money and I'm greeted with the face mask nonsense. They were rude and abrupt about it. Not shopping there any more. You've lost what would have been a life-long customer because of your ridiculous fear-mongering. Good luck.

I’m so disappointed my experience matched the one-stars and not the good reviews I read before going! I want to set up a medium to large-sized reef tank and was hoping to start a relationship with a good store. After driving an hour and a half to get there, I walked in to the owner’s absolutely dismal customer service. I thought ok maybe she is just having a bad day and I’d look around since I came that far. When I asked about ordering a tank etc for me she was curt and unhelpful. An associate was trying to help me but with no headway on equipment, not much could get done. I’m not a tire-kicker- I’m a veterinarian and have spent a lot of time recently reading up on marine aquarium-keeping. I try to support small businesses and was going to spend a lot of money there this year. I’ll drive a little farther next time.

The employees asked me what I was looking for and they helped me answer my questions about fish compatibility. They had great selection for saltwater fish and a variety for freshwater fish as well. The fish are rather expensive compared to some other stores, but I find that the fish tend to be hardier and the display for the fish are so appealing its almost as if you went to the aquarium. I will be back, to the dismay of my wallet.

One of the owners is very snobby and unfriendly. She was also very rude when she asked me to put s face mask on i pulled it down to adjust it as well and she immediately told me i need to pull it up, i have spent almost 800 dollars in 3 weeks in the store I bought a black snowflake clown fish and a regular clown and a few other fish and they died with in 24 hours. I tested the water before i put the fish in and it was fine i called to explain the situation and they refused any store credit or refund, or just to simply give me a regular clown fish. To replace at least one fish You would think when someone spends that kind of money and simply ask just to replace a clown fish that it shouldn't be a problem my 6 year old son was heart broken taking my money else where worst customer service she refused to get off her computer when i simply asked who their supplier of fish were to see if i could special order something she refused to tell me.

I walked in and Clayton greeted me immediately! I am new to this, I explained what I was looking for and he helped me every step along the way. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! I've visited and purchased four times and have had the best experience every time. The best price on live rock, and grab great small frags at $10. You want to watch it grow right?! The selection here is very nice, and they are by far the best marine store in the area. Their prices are a quite a bit higher than the stores north of Atlanta though. I received an odd lecture from one of the employees when asking about a particular species of coral. I guess they assumed I was a “beginner”, despite having professional aquaculture experience. This dissuaded me from purchasing anything else. Overall, the other employee was helpful and I’m happy with the purchase I did make.

They're pretty expensive overall. Good selection generally. They're going to go out of business soon if they don't get their attitudes in check though. The woman there is terrible and treats people like garbage. I don't know if she's the owner and just has no restraint or what, but she's not going to last the way she's going...

I really expected more. We purchased 3 peppermint shrimp 1 cleaner shrimp, an anthia, file fish, and diamond goby from this store. Almost 300$ worth of animals. We do live about an hour and a half from there but already had a quarantine tank set up at home. The employee handled the the anthia extremely rough because it hid in a barnacle. He made mention that they were not supposed to have anthia in the tanks with barnacles because they hide in them. We arrived home acclimated the fish and started our quarantine. 24 hours later we found the anthia belly up. Everyone else was healthy and eating. They are closed on Monday so when we had a chance to call the store Wednesday to find out the policy on what happened, maybe offer us half the price of the fish as store credit or really anything. They informed us there are no exceptions that the purchase of all fish were final no matter the situation. I understand anthias may be hard to qt and die easily from stress. But customer care and retention is not a strong suite of this business, guess we will be making the extra hour drive to the other side of Atlanta next time.

Awesome store with extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. I am new to the salt water hobby and over the past few days they have helped me get started with a great tank system! Every time I have visited, they have really gone above and beyond to help explain as much as they could and answer all of my questions. When I walked in a few days later, after only visiting once, the owner approached me, remebered who I was and what I wanted. Highly recommend you visit this store whether you're a current hobbyist or thinking of getting started.-Steve

Store is now charging a fee for using a card, a percentage and not a flat fee. I am not a fan of carrying hundreds of dollars around on my person.Will be switching to purchasing online or making the long drive to Nemo aquarium.
