The employees here are courteous and helpful. They are much better than employees at other Palmetto stores - which is why I think more people shop here. The only problem is they're always out of stock. Dollar General Corporation would make a lot more money if they kept this store stocked!

Never drop off a FedEx package at this location. We had a terrible experience. Our package sat here for 1.5 weeks. We called several times to check why our tracking hasn't been updated, NO ANSWER. We finally decided to go to the store and pick up our package and drop it off at different location.

I will never again visit this store I always purpose to patronize local business first. But this is one business in Palmetto Georgia that I will never frequent again. Today was the third visit as I was hoping the first two were out of the norm. So my remarks concerning this business are based on three visits that were exactly the same. Rude staff, rude customers, or vulgar language by the staff, extreme disorganization and extensive wait time. Wait time does not bother me. I had just left Bojangles and waited 30 minutes for my food but they were so kind and so pleasant I’d have waited an hour before I went to another restaurant. But this Dollar General makes a five minute wait in the line absolutely miserable.

It was a manager named Karen that was so helpful and great personality that helped me find what I needed. She stop working and stocking the shelf to make sure I found what my daughter and I was searching for. She was working the whole store by herself. I was so amazed. Such an inspirational woman and worker. I would love to hire for my company. Great addition for any team!

This is a rather large Dollar General, they have everything you need and seem to have most everything in stock. I walked around the whole store and it was clean, well-lit, well stocked and as always, I always liked the clearance section! The guy that checked me out was really nice also, he's usually the one working when I go there.

Had everything I was looking for! No stores can compete! Been looking for months for a particular item that I could not find in Douglas or Fulton County.. Was headed to another destination and something said to stop at this store! So happy I did! I found that one particular item! They had a nice amount and I must say I CLEARED THE SHELF! On top of that, papertowels were stocked and they had some clearance items that were regular price everywhere else! Staff was very nice and gave excellent customer service! Left happy and went home.. Didn't even make that trip I actually came out for. Thanks Dollar General! See yall again soon!

This store takes some getting use to. It's in an old grocery store so it's not laid out like corporate built stores. If you have a problem finding what you're looking for just ask Anthony, the manager. He's very helpful and just an all round good guy!

Tessa is a blessing and the face of this dollar general chain. If she doesn’t get a raise I’m moving back to Florida. In second thought I won’t until Ron desantis gets fired or moves to Alaska, but you get the point.

It's very inexpensive to buy convenient items here. However, the store is always a mess. It aggravates me to have to step over and around boxes and buggies and stock clerks constantly. The employees are friendly though.

I think its a problem for every location. Staff are overworked and limited. Lots of people always trying to checkout, always boxes to unpack everywhere. I understand you have to watch your payroll, but truck days should have extra staff on hand.

The store has great prices great selection however the store manager Larry could be a little more helpful. Maybe I need to understand he may be going through something but he shouldn't bring it to work. That being said it will not stop me from shopping there

I came in looking for a package that had been rerouted for pickup at this location and I was freaking out when Anthony told me that it hadn’t arrived but it was marked by FedEx as delivered the day before. I kept calling the throughout the day and still no sign if my package. However, I went back in the next day and Anthony was there again to help! He was helpful via phone and went I arrived to finally pick up my package! He was very apologetic on the behalf of FedEx and informed me that he will speak to them about marking packages as delivered when it reality they was not. Thanks Anthony! Keep giving great customer service!

Well, let's just say...Its a Dollar General in a small small town. You can get stuff here but don't expect too tier quality of service, goods, or even parking. Good people working there from day to day but...it's just a Dollar General you know?

I don't go to this store regularly because I find parking sometimes difficult and the store aisles are often very difficult to maneuver. However, whenever I do go there I am able to find what I want and the employees are very pleasant

Wife had to take a deuce. Good snack selection. Bus stop marked but I was there 20 minutes and saw no busses. Edge of Fulton County from what I can tell. No liquor stores in Coweta County.

This location is so close to my house and I really like to be able to go here but I find myself staring clear and going to Piggly Wiggly or Family Dollar because this particular Dollar General can't seem to find employees, 2 in particular, that are respectful. There's a girl that works here by the name of Ashley and she has told me 2x in a row that they don't have my cigarettes so I walked over and looked, found them right away. The 2nd time she said they didn't have em, I told her to look in the cabinet by the cash register that they keep locked and there was some in there so that was 2 separate times that she almost sent me away, to another store, out of my way because she's lazy and she doesn't do her job and even started arguing with me when I finally said something about it because I told her, if she doesn't enjoy her job and isn't going to give it 100% that she needs to find another job! I called corporate, never heard anything back. There's a very nice older, black man that works in there and I believe he's a manager and he's very sweet and does his job! But she is so horrible, as well as another manager named Michael, he's a younger black man and he is just very rude, he doesn't acknowledge that you're there, he just has a very unpleasant attitude about him. I see him laughing and cutting up sometimes with the other employees but for some reason when I come in there, he just has an attitude. They haven't new, younger black guy as well as a younger black female and she has a hurt foot, I don't know their names but they're very nice. I'm hoping that the one girl is not there anymore, Ashley, I'll start going there more often but it's also the fact that there have been a few times that they really did not have my cigarettes so that's a stock issue.

The store has improved just a little stock is in the stock cages but they need help stocking the shelves with the merchandise. Customer service is good ladies that work there are very nice

This store is really close to my house and that's the main reason I like it but I do have a very difficult time going in this location and finding what I need but they do have all new staff at this point so I could very easily be changing my review same but I'm the kind of person, I need to see a difference over the course of at least a couple of months to know that it's not just a one visit thing. There were issues in the past where the staff was more than rude but even though I did not like that, they wouldn't have the cigarettes that I smoked or the girl wouldn't look to see and the other area where they keep in and she's no longer there so that already makes a difference but I do know they have on a staff at this point which I just found out last week so we will see if it stays good and if they can stay stocked up on the items that I go in for because it's very frustrating to go in here and then not have what I need and it can be the smallest thing like children's Imodium. There's a slot for it but it wasn't there, time before that they were out of whatever I went for a bit I can't remember right now. I just remember thinking like three times in a row, okay this is getting to a point where they never have what I need so there's no point in even coming here anymore. There are already more expensive than Walmart because of the convenience but I'm willing to pay a little extra if I need a pack of diapers or something because by the time I drive to Walmart, I'm going to spend it in gas anyway. Diapers, that was another thing that they never had. I always needed either a size 5 or a size 6 and for some reason, they never had it in any brand, not even their brand so it was super frustrating because that's something I had to have right away and thankfully Family Dollar is down the road but I don't like going that far and they are a little bit higher than Dollar General. I do think things will change for the better which is why I rated 3 stars instead of 1

Store was very unorganized. And very dirtyThe outside gutter falling down pretty fall on a customer. I called the Dollar General main office and let them know about the problems in their store and outside

Dollar General is not a dollar store 'per se' , but it is generally a dollar! It's located in a rural town so we need it. And, I save more money there than at Family Dollar.

Tends to be understocked, is hard to navigate, and not always very clean. There are some other Dollar Generals nearby that are much nicer.

Good place for a quick in and out shopping in case you forgot certain items at your regular grocery store.
