This place is decent not my favorite. They're kind of understaffed. Good luck trying to get somebody to help you find something You can literally wander around the store forever and nobody will even ask you if they can help. Then half the time when you're looking for a particular product they don't have it in stock or they just flat out don't carry it what it is the only product you've used for your animals for years it's kind of sucks because then I have to drive 4 miles down the road to their competitor which is probably what I should do in the first place. If they don't step up their game I won't walk back in the store. Frankly I'm not sure why I'm even giving it four stars but that's what I'm doing.

I have a very anxious lab and German shepherd mix puppy. He's 9 months old. I scheduled an appointment for 9 am when they didn't have a lot of animals in. I showed up to find out that someone changed my appointment and there would be 5 dogs there.... Not happy about this at all. I cancelled my appointment and I won't take any of my animals back. Not even a phone call to ask me about rescheduling. Seriously unprofessional.The woman in the store however is super friendly and tried so hard to get a groomer there to take care of my baby. If I need to purchase anything I will go see her, but the groomers have lost my business and respect.

They did a really good job trimming her nails. They spent quite a bit of time doing then, because I waited too long between times, and they were very long but she spent her time on her so she didn't hurt my dog not even onçe And I have been places where they hurt my dog all the time when they do the nails. I will be going back for now on and more Often

They always do a really good job bathing my Rottweiler, Bella and I can always get in for an appointment versus most of the time there’s not an appointment right away with Petsmart or Petco so that’s very convenient and the prices are comparable Also the staff was friendly.

Update: Manager did me right when I went in today. Thank you.I've been buying my pet food here for the better part of 7 months, paying the extra few bucks or so on the products over TSC cost. (TSC is literally next door). I have given my phone number each time. Today I asked if I was close to the free bag after buying 10. This whole time they needed to sign me up because "I only have the Neighborhood Club"The number of employee contacts I've had and not one made sure I was getting all the benefits of shopping there? Disappointed in all of them. Train your customer servers better Petsense. Or is this deliberate so you don't have to credit those who don't notice?

Thank you to the lazy employee guy with glasses. Always buy my dog food here. The dog food was literally on a pallet visible few things on top and he said I could come back tomorrow. I said we'll my dogs out of food today ...he said oh I'm sorry..it will be ready tomorrow....I am sorry too for my 10 years of business! Won't he back

Tried to book a grooming appointment. Online says there are 6 available appointment slots for the day, but my appointment was denied. I called to ask why, and was told there are no openings until Sunday.

Do not recommend their grooming services at all. The first time my 2 dogs were groomed there they looked great, but my Maltese had a severely inflamed bottom for weeks. I tried them again today and both dogs have very gapped cuts that are completely different than the pictures we showed them. Looks terrible.Worst of all my Maltese has red and swollen eyes, and parts of his face is shaved to the skin.

I just took my dog to get his nails done and Amy was so nice and quick. Very professional and sweet people at pet sense. I always come and get his food there but now he’ll also get groomed there too! Thanks Amy!

I recently visited PetSense, and I am beyond impressed with the level of care and attention they provided to my two dogs. From the moment we walked in, my dogs were greeted with warm smiles, a clean facility, and lots of love.The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to ask about my dogs specific needs and any concerns I had. One of my dogs was overly excited, and the groomer was gentle and patient ensuring she was calm and comfortable before beginning the process. When they finished with both of my dogs, they looked amazing, their coats were shiny, nails trimmed, and teeth cleaned.Overall, I could not be happier with the service we received at PetSense. It's worth the thirty minute commute to have a peace of mind knowing my dogs are receiving great grooming care.

Came in around lunch time on 06/06/2023 to ask a groomer’s opinion on what the best de-shedding brush would be for my German Shepherd. The guy made eye contact with me and ran and hid in the back, and the girl made eye contact with me and stayed on her cell phone so I went and got a brush that may or may not work. The cashier asked me if I wanted to sign up with their loyalty program and I told her no because that’s the first and last time I would be in there. From now on, do not hire anyone under 35, customer service is dead to anyone younger.

Everyone is so friendly and the prices might be a little higher than Walmart but they also have more variety and it's easy to run in and out within minutes. We even adopted our second kitten from there.

Visited this place because the petco in our area didn't have what we needed, and now I try to come here as much as I can for what I need. The staff is wonderful, and the stock usually offers exactly what I need for our babies at home.If you need pet supplies and the assistance of a sweet group of staff, look no further. Give the kitties a pet who are up for adoption while you're there ;)

Terrible!!! We have been using the Grooming service for 2 yrs now.. we called yesterday morning to get Papi groomed.he was Very Fluffy….Asked for half his coat to be taken off & his nails trimmed… When we went to pick him up ALL his hair was gone (u can see his skin) and all the groomers had left & he was in the back Alone in a cage with the lights out..we asked to speak to the manager & was told they were gone too….We will Not be using this place again!!!!!!

This is the most expensive pet store around!Petsmart and petco both are high dollar on most things but petsense is worse by a great deal... even their crickets are .02 cents more per (LG) cricket then either of the other stores I mentioned above...(15 cents vs. 17 cents) and .02 cent extra per cricket is alot when you really look at it..I mean it's like adding an extra 20% to your final checkout amount... really a little lower then 20% but you get my meaning.. lol..Plus there are a plethora of other items that I could name that are way higher then a 20% markup verses other stores.. it's really unnecessary when you see the place and the total lack of employees and selection they provide..I purchased an 8 gallon hexagon aquarium kit from PetSense which had beneath the item on the shelf a price tag of 54.99$ which seemed reasonable for such a small aquarium kit.. it didn't even include a heater or food.. just gravel/ plastic plants and a very small waterfall type filter system.. only thing special about the tank was the silicone used to seal it.. it was neon orange.. lol..It rang up for $134.+ at the register... which caused me to look at all the items I bought that day before paying blindly like I'd done multiple times before.. not one item was priced properly in their system.. NOT ONE! ALL OVER PRICED OF COURSE! and when I say over priced i mean over by 2$ on small things like cups of insects that should've cost me 3.89$ or 8.99$ which is alot in my opinion.. almost 25% more then price tag stated on the shelf.. (or in my case the refrigerator) but the tank kit was 80$ more then the price tag stated on the shelf..80$ flipping dollars more!! That's more then the whole tank should have rang up with taxes included.. almost 20$ more with taxes included to be exact..I know this is a long review but I thought it was worth writing just for the simple fact that we as consumers are getting screwed all the time by stores this exact way every single day.. why ? Because we don't pay attention when we are in a hurry.. or feel rushed to checkout..I know I don't check every single item I buy for that reason all the time.. then I forget to look at the receipt later on or simply lose the f'ing thing.. lol..80$ is a huge difference between the shelf and registers prices.. no excuse covers it in my mind either.. how can you explain it away?? YOU CAN'T.. AND I REFUSED TO PAY EM THAT PRICE..I DEMANDED TO GET THE KIT AT THE ADVERTISED PRICE MARKED ON THE SHELF..OR I WASN'T BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM THAT DAY OR ANY DAY THERE AFTER.. which they actually argued against!! The store Manger was who did the arguing at that..The Manger should have been offering to honoring the price that they had on the shelf.. go figure!?!? Lol...Sorry this is so lengthy but again I felt it was necessary to tell folks how they were (probably still are) ripping our throats out and we pay and smile while it's happening.. good luck out there guys..thanks for reading..P.s. cashier chick was the only saving grace for this store.. she's like a hippy/ stoner type girl but also very nice and helpful.. no attitude unlike the Mangers I've talked with..

Okay I guess. Nothing special nothing that would make me want to go there rather than going to Petco or any other of the local pet stores. Walked in with my dog, looking for a few items. No one ever said a word to me or acknowledged my presence. A simple hello would have been more than adequate. I was the only one in the store no one ever offered to help or said a word. This is not a way to run a business especially one with a lot of competition in the area. Probably won't hear anything from this review because judging from the other reviews the only time a response is given is when someone leaves a positive review. They ignore the negative reviews. Not trying to beat up on these people but when you're number three in a three-man race you have to try harder and do better. Neither of which I saw today. I'll spend my money where I'm appreciated. The store was clean probably because there wasn't a lot of people visiting this location and there was plenty of dog and cat food. Almost 3 aisles worth!

Good people working there, I have lizards and the price of live crickets is absolutely fantastic! Gone here once for kitten milk and won't make that mistake again. This store only carries SOME Young pet supplies. So, make sure to call and ask before making the trip

They NEVER respond or apologize for what caused the bad reviews or make an attempt to correct it. Therefore I will be not waste my time going there. My name is Anita Knight. The grooming department is 10 stars!!! If you want your pet perfectly groomed then take them to Amy!!! The prices alone are why I don’t so my shopping there. They are the most expensive in town :/

They do have a great selection of frozen mice that I feed my snakes not much else for reptiles though a few things but not really much and a few rude staff not everyone is a cat or dog person
