I called and was told that I could get my money back from the store manager. But he wasn't there when I went to return some callers that would not stay on my pups. One of the assistant managers said that I had to be in store credit after 30 days. Then proceeded to read the tiny print on the back of the receipt. Like who reads all of that, on every single receipt? So I have a $60.95 Petco in store credit card that is going to be little to no use to me. I could use that money for bills. Seriously I will NOT stop there again. #petsmart you've got a new customer! I get that the back of the receipt says what it says however, when I call and speak to the manager and he's aware that it's past 30 days and tells me I can have the cash back then that's a problem.

Before Christmas our baby Cotton needed trimmed. He hadn’t had a cut in a while. The last time we had him cut the groomer went really short so we decided to let it grow a little while. We made an appointment for a few days before Christmas.The day off the appointment we get a call that the groomer is sick with flu and we needed to reschedule with the promise we would get a discount. Of course we would reschedule and truly sad to hear she had the flu.The new appointment was scheduled a week later with Meghan. My husband took our baby Cotton to the appointment. He advised the person at desk that he had a small mat behind his ear we could not seem to get out. He also asked they not cut him so short this time.When he picked Cotton up this is what we got( pictures) He is shaved down to his skin! When my husband asked why? … he was told “your dog had mats everywhere! “This was not true at all!I assume Meghan just went over board with the clipping. Then to add more bad news when he got to the register the cut was not half off like promised. Then our poor baby was so freighted from the whole ordeal he shook all the way home.We will not be taking our pets to this store anymore.

Petco has always been my go-to place here in town for pet supplies. Took my girlfriend over there to have her dog groomed. The price was fantastic I actually expected her to be much more she did a great job on him and so now she is his full-time stylist. Petco seems to have the best selection of any of the stores around here they don't have anything for sugar gliders which is kind of a letdown for me but they're not really a popular pet so I didn't expect them to have anything anyway. Also they don't have the particular brand of extreme athlete formula dry dog food that I feed my dog. Not many places carry it anyway so that's okay too. Other than that they had just about everything I've walked every aisle in the store and I'm pretty impressed. The people are nice and it's always clean so that helps my attitude when I go in. Their prices are reasonable and very competitive with online stores plus if I'm not mistaken they deliver for free locally So that's definitely a plus. Whenever I need something locally that's going to be the first place I go.

Love , they are always very kind to me , so far I have bought fish & birds from there 😊 They are very healthy. good quality. my fish are now big & i hope my birds have me some baby birds because if like to add to my collection. They are always amazing with tips for getting your birds and fish started to last

We love taking our pups to see Meghan for grooming! She is kind, patient, and professional. The rest of the staff are great as well and the facility is kept very clean. Highly recommend bringing in your fur babies for all their grooming needs!

I've only been inside this Petco a handful of times with how new it is, but in my own opinion it was one of my best experiences with the company for a few reasons. One, the staff I did interact with was very friendly and did not force any sales down my throat at checkout. Two, the store was very well kept and finding what i needed was a breeze. Three, all the animals seemed very lively and healthy ( most important besides cleanliness in a pet store). If there's one thing I could change, I would add more reptile or exotic selections but I'm a stickler for how vast, exotic or unique a pet stores selection is and they lose no stars for that. I will definitely continue business with that location if they keep it up!

Love this petco. The staff is always very helpful and very friendly. Took my little dog here to get groomed recently and couldn't have been happier. Their pricing was extremely reasonable and they did an excellent job.

I bring my super senior Yorkie here for grooming because Cooper is the only groomer he has ever been comfortable with. This last time I took him in he had a surprise bloody nose..Cooper immediately called me which allowed me to call the Vet on the way to pick him up.Cooper stayed with my pup until I arrived to get him not simply sticking him in a kennel. This reinforced the staff does bond with and care for your pet.And my pup was triaged at the Vet and is fine.

Omg! Raven at the Battlefield parkway location in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia is simply amazing! Every time I go in there she's more than happy to help in any category whether it's my cats, fish or dog. She's always very empathetic and more than willing to help. 100 star rating for Raven! Promote this one!

It's not a waffle house where you're greeted at the door...but typical overpriced and somewhat. Next time my pet needs something I believe I'm going to go online to Chewy.

Employees were very helpful, prior to me coming to the store, helping me with picking out what I needed/wanted for my need addition to my family. Even helped me put the stuff in the car. Due to me just having surgery at the end of December. Thanks a lot

This is my go-to place around here for a certain things I need for the dog and the sugar glider. Their prices are competitive it's always well stocked and it's usually a pretty quick in and out. Everything I like in a pet store.

Found what I needed, employees helpful and friendly. However, the .10 charge for a plastic bag is RIDICULOUS, laughable and insulting to your customers!!! That should be included in the cost of running a business!! Not a fee passed to your shoppers! Also, I’m fairly certain your cost for plastic bags in bulk is pretty cheap per bag…..Trying to profit on bags for customers to carry your merchandise out of the store is outrageous and a TERRIBLE business model! DO BETTER PETCO!!

Prices are ridiculously high and most of the time the pricing in their adds or posted on their product displays will be incorrect or have a stipulation ( like signing up for their rewards card) when you get to the register.It's a misleading and unfair practice.If you purchase anything from this shady establishment watch your receipt and your wallet.

They always have any and all of my pet needs but I give 4 stars and almost 3 because of the customer service. No one is ever around to answer questions or assist with literally anything. Always only 1 person at the cash register. Honestly starting to feel more like walmart instead of Petco.

Petco is awesome. We were up there to price check some puppy needs since we are about to start saving for one. Many visits to come in the near future. They were also a big help when we found our kitty boy. The employee helped us find appropriate kitten formula and was super sweet. She was right when she said that we would get attached having to bottle feed him.

I door dashed today as I do a lot got 50 ct super worms for my bearded cause I was out and there his fav out of 50 only 2 was alive 8$ is a lot to pay for 2 worms not including door dasher fees and charges.. this is the first time I have had a problem..

The selection was a little lacking and at check out changing 10 cents for a bag to carry your purchases in is absolutely ridiculous. At the very least spending over 30.00 should merit a free bag to carry all the purchases in. I am appalled that in these times that you as a company would even consider this method of saving money. It was like “Christmas Vacation” when he gets shafted with the jelly of the month cloud rather than the cash bonus he was accustomed to. I am actually offended by this company decision and will be taking my business elsewhere. Good luck with your gouging technique/business strategy. I hope others have the chance to speak out on how disgusting this new policy is as well.

Larger store than the one closer to my house. Pretty much anything you would need for your pet..or if you are searching for a new one. Our new puppy has a new collar and a identification tag (engraved at the store after I purchased the tag of my liking)

All was well until cashier told me if I wanted to carry my products I purchased out to my car in plastic bags....each plastic bag I used was $.10 each. I carried my purchased products out in my arms. This is alittle stupid for a big company to charge their customers $.10 a plastic bag when they purchase their product. I think this is a bad business decission.

I just want to say how well our dog was treated at Veto/Petco. We have a pit bull that gets nervous around people he doesn’t know. The vet and her staff were very kind and treated our dog well. We Will be coming back here for all vaccinations going forward.

Just went into petco to pick up a few things for my pup, as I went to bag my things the cashier told me the bags cost now. So needless to say you spend over $100 in a store and they want you the customer to pay for your own bag!
