Ever since the management change this store has gone down hill. Being the closest (mini) grocery store to everyone out here. My mother showed up at 8:30pm just to walk back to the truck because the doors are locked & realized that they don't close until 9pm, as soon as she saw employees walking outside she started to get out again then an employee motions they're closed. When my mom asked the same employee what time do rhey actually close she told hmy mom they close 10 mins until 9pm, at this point now it's 8:48pm. My mom points this out clearly upset & the employee decide to use derogatory language towards my mother as she is pulling off. Very unprofessional.

The store is almost always clean iteams are usually in the same place so it's usually an easy in and out. Staff is mostly friendly sometimes the restrooms don't receive the attention they need and the parking lot sucks who ever engineered it was obviously impaired. It makes it hard to access on and off the highway especially when someone is trying to exit

Not being a regular to Dollar General, I had no idea where the things were that I needed and the gentleman working there (by himself I might add!) was exceptionally friendly and helped me with everything I asked. I love our local dollar general but i do see room for improvement. I know they're probably doing the best with what they have but first thing customers might suggest is checkout system/set up. The line most times im there gets backed up into areas in front of the end caps in front of other isles while waiting to check out. That would be my only issue. Most visits are really great 1's. Management & most cashiers are kind & pleasant! The store has reallly good variety. I like using my d8gital coupons to save more & clearance is always a score!

Since upper management has cut down the number of employees to work at dollar general stores most of th hem have their shelves half stocked and out of many items on the shelves. All while the unpacked boxes are blocking the aisles. Worse every day.

Great staff and so very helpful. The store is so organized and is very well maintained. The selection is very good and much easier to shop here that in Wal-Mart for many items at similar prices.

I walked into the dollar general with my intentions being to get sparklers and 4 of July Apparel and I was some how stopped by that. I grabbed the sparklers from where they were and went to the cash register. But suddenly some old hag stopped me. I was very offended at how she told me I could not purchase the fireworks. She said “ ya can’t purchase them without an ID. You gotda Be 18.” I understand that I might have to be 18 to purchase the fireworks but I have purchased sparklers from the dollar general before. This is not the very first time she has tried me or my family’s existence my brother wants walked into the Dollar General and she racially profiled him because he look like another black person that had banned before. He really explained to him that he should not be in the store and told him to leave when I was with him and we were purchasing our items. Back to the fireworks thing I would have been OK if she would’ve easily told me in a genuine nice manner that I could not purchase them because I was not 18 but the attitude I received was unbearable disrespectful. I was really ready to turn the building upside down but I knew that since I am black and she is white in this race this town I was going to lose this battle.I highly do not recommend the Dollar General in Odum Georgia because it is full of bull just like the lad I highly do not recommend the Dollar General in Odum Georgia because it is full of bull just like the lady that did me dirty.Have a Blessed Day!

I know all the employees by name, and they know me too, they're friendly and welcoming, speaking to all customers as they enter the store, which I don't see at the other DG's in Wayne County, our Odum Store is well stocked and not unkempt, there's no buggies (carts) blocking your way through the isles making you back up and go around to the other side, very helpful staff, Tiffany, Tabatha and PJ are the best, and everybody thinks our Odum store is our Lil Walmart, check out our Odum store, I think you'll be glad you did.

Aisles blocked with buggys for stocking shelves items. Saw only one person working think they need help. This is a great store to shop at and first time encountering this problem.

This store is set up entirely different then most and it is really set up odd .. Never enough help here,stood inline almost 10 min while the two ladies where in back of store atocking,spoke up two times that i was ready and one time they replied "coming" yet they continued stocking.

They've put in more coolers and widen the aisles. Its alot roomier and the staff is like family cause mom and I go there often.
