Maria should not be in any supervisory position. She is condescending and disrespectful to employees. She did this in front of customers, including myself. It is not a good look for DG when a customer, with leadership experience, has to take up for an employee who is being verbally abused by their manager (Maria). Maria didn't like a customer taking up for the employee. She then got an attitude with the customer claiming she "jokes" around with her employee like that "all the time" and instructed the customer to leave. Ironically, however, if it was a "joke," why was the employee respectfully asking the Maria why she was talking to her like that?Maria demonstrated the lack of several vital skills and abilities required to be an effective manager. I pray that employee knows her worth and that she finds employment where managerial training and development is a priority.

This is one of the only clean Dollar General stores I have ever been in. I can't stay that it was free of clutter in the aisles, but it was clean to the smell. There was a bunch of people waiting to check out, and the attendant was nowhere to be found. Sort of hard to believe they weren't screwing off in the back.

Store can sometimes be in total disarray due to understaffing, but the staff has been nothing but nice.

Regularly understaffed, self checkout out of order about half the time & shelfs bare. But in a pinch a convenient place to pick up needed items.

Disgusting place. Never answers the phone, called 8 times over this morning. FALSELY accused a woman and her husband of stealing in front of multiple people claiming they had “footage”. Woman and her husband stepped outside to call the police and the moment the police arrived suddenly irs a case of “mistaken identity”. Lawsuit pending.

This use to be a nice little store but now nothing is ever stocked and the asile so messy you can't hardly go down some of them. When I asked manager have they got something she said yeah it's in the back and not up yet. Idon't know why they clearly not trying to clean the store.

Company needs to employ more people at each store. Company expects a few employees to keep ip with demand. Get area supervisors and corporate big wigs to work in stores for 4 weeks and you will make changes.

Check out L and L auction just a mile up the road in downtown Ochlocknee. Friday nights auction starts at 7 pm. Housewares, yard tools, new items and misc items.

It's a given when I stop in, there will be a long line waiting to check out. Be prepared to wait in line for 10 mins, as no one comes to open another register.
