We were visiting my in-laws and came in to grab some things for dinner on Saturday 10/14/23. We also had a return because I had purchased a phone charger from another store the day before which did not work. We did our shopping and got to the register planning on using the return as part of paying for the order. The cashier called for the manager on duty to do the return and immediately this girl had an attitude. She came out of the office area fussing she said she had just clocked out and she was mad that she was having to come out to do a return. She ranted about in front of us and the whole line of customers. She then did the return at self checkout and refused to check us out there. She made us do a return to our card instead of applying it to our order. We then had to wait in line again to check out. The poor cashier up front had a line that wrapped around the displays and she just left her. Most rude and inconsiderate management I’ve seen in a long time.

The most interesting doller general I've ever been to! They have stuff all over the place..you can't even walk down the aisle to shop. If you are in a wheelchair or walker I would not recommend you going to this one. Also, the staff is very all over the place.

Their shelves are never stocked. Seems to not be enough employees. Everything is usually sitting in the aisles wrapped in plastic with one person on the register and one person trying to stick the shelves. If you plan to shop here make sure you have 15 to 20 minutes to stand in line, because no one will come to help the poor person running the register. They are very nice people, but way understaffed. Because of the empty shelves I find myself constantly asking my daughter to pick me up stuff from the DG close to her work.

Move from a big city to this small town, literally it is the only place that’s closes late but to begin with their restroom is always out of service and if want cash back you need to ask first, they are always low in cash. Other then that their Chinese products are very good.

Shelves never stocked. Aisles are always crowded with stock to be put on shelves (trip hazard) Don't have enough staff. Lines are long and wait time for checking out is long. Most staff is friendly (Erica is awesome and amazing~very hard worker&she's been there awhile) employee turn around is awful

Manager brags about how many overtime hours she puts in every week, yet the shelves are ALWAYS bare and the stock carts clutter the isles. Not to mention the lines are always backed up and the cashiers are ridiculously slow.

Never fully stocked and most of the time it's hard to maneuver through the store with a cart because of the store's big silver carts with the nets holding broken down boxes sitting in the way. Not to mention, half of the time they act like they don't want to put anything in a shopping bag. Twice I've had to ask them to please put my items in a bag. I don't mind carrying my stuff out, but when I'm carrying a sleepy 2 year old, my purse, and trying to unlock my house....having my items in a bag helps out a good bit. Even though I live in Nicholson, I usually go to one of the DG stores in Commerce. Commerce DG stores are always cleaner, customer service is better, no big carts sitting in the way, better stocked....just the overall experience is better than the Nicholson store.

Always friendly service their always smiling no matter how long they have been there i swear I think some of them live there, there is a few that I see all the time working always but they always have a smile on and say welcome to the dollar general.i think I go there just to here someone friendly say welcome to the dollar general...just keep smiling ladies and gentlemen and keep up the good work ..I know I am not going to leave out the part when some time the line is way long but that's when there's like only one person working.....work on

Didn't like the way the lady was holding a conversation even after the lady had paid for her groceries, and then fiddled w so.e stuff before saying ok, come up...Very rude...But store was clean. Stocked good...Actually found toilet paper.

Love the staff and customer service nice friendly super helpful..Kayla..Pam..Randi..and all the other staff are so helpful and sweet..my favorite store to come to..they always are smiling and even when I'm having a bad day I go in to that store just to talk to the staff there to turn my frown upside down..so blessed to have them work for dollar General

The employees here were very helpful with helping me find items that I couldn't locate on my own. They were also very polite and friendly. Prices weren't all that bad either! LOL

Our store is going through a lot of changes at this time, I as an employee would like to apologize to all the customers that come into the Dollar General in Nicholson, by saying that we are trying very hard to get our store back in order. With only 3 full time employees and employees from other DG stores we are slowly getting some kind of order back into our store ( A BIG Thank You to everyone that has came to Nicholson and helped us with our store), I want to say Thank You to our customers for your patience with us and your understanding of our situation. I am positive that very soon our Nicholson store will be back in order. Please know that the employees of the Nicholson store do care about our store and we care about our customers! Shelves are always empty, aisles full of trash and merch that needs to be put out. Always a long line at the checkout and nobody helps with checkout. I've seen workers outside smoking and one person inside with a line to the back of the store. Stopped going to this store and it's 2 mins from my house. I will go to Center or Commerce

STORE IS DIRTY LOOKING NOT REAL ORGANIZED. CARTS ARE IN THE ISLES PRICES AREN'T MARKED. EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NICE BUT HAVE A LOT TO DO Mangers try but never seem to catch up.

I really love dollar general and everyone in the Nicholson, Georgia area do as well the problem is that they never have enough people working. I'm not sure if it's management or what but they only have 1 register open with the line almost to the back of the store and the shelves aren't ever fully stocked.

I went to the trouble of loading all my coupons prior to going to the store get in line go to pay and they say the coupons of expired when online they clearly show they haven't expired and they're good for another week so instead of saving $7 like I was supposed to I ended up paying more for stuff I wouldn't have gotten any way

It was filthy. Nothing was on the shelves. Isles were so full of products there was hardly room to walk. I hope this gets this place cleaned up and a nice place to buy things from.

The shelves are extremely bare. Freight is dangerously placed in large containers all over the floor for people to hurt themselves on. The two star rating is more for the cashier than anything else in the store.

The store in Nicholson Ga.has the worst service ever. The store is under staff( mostly at night). I have been in when only one person is there. Its not the person's fault but the manager. Or the store district manager for not helping when the stores . However I do like shopping with the stores.

Because there's a key holder that works that jumped in my niece's face and she threw a box at her and Everytime I go in and get in line to check out it will be a line and she will not come to help check out and I use to work for dollar general and I know that is not how you are trained to do your job I wish I could come back to work there but my health want let me but I do pray for them and dollar general because that store need them
