The general manager named Patricia has really turned this store around. Clean store, friendly employees. Sadly, she works day and night and works several months straight, 14 hour days without an off day. I know this for a fact. This woman deserves a raise and the recognition she deserves.Update: store looks good still, stopped in this morning and everything was easy to find.

I arrived at the store around 1 PM(in a rush to pick something up) when I was surprised to discover the doors were locked and a sign handwritten on Orange paper posted to the window that stated “Be back at 3, Thanks Management”… seriously?! Highly doubt this is store policy.

I was at your location on Temple Avenue in Newnan Georgia on December 15th at around11am. The cashier was unprofessional. I asked her a question; and her response was as if she did not want to be bothered. She had an attitude. She never smiled or thanked me or wished me a good day. I bought ice. Sensing her attitude, I wished her a good day. She said nothing, did not acknowledge what I had said. She just turned her back to me and walked away. Her customer service skills are bad. She needs some training on how to exhibit good customer service. It is the foundation of a successful business.

I was a regular customer there. Applied a few times over the last 3 years. Was called for an interview for the next day late one evening. Went into the interview thinking they were interviewing me because they thought my availability and experience was a good fit. Get there and the assistant manager was giving me the third degree as if to prove me stupid and incompetent. Is very critical of my past experience and my personality saying I'm too serious in the interview and he doesn't believe I can get along with the customers and won't run them away. Said they like to joke at work. Talked about a customer as if she was dumb for asking where the restroom is and said it was a joke as if I should laugh hysterically. Asked me if I was ever a customers favorite. Uses a bunch of company specific employee terminology and asks me to explain it to him saying I should know it from shopping there! Tries to get me to say I will make myself available to the company anytime and do anything including clean the store bc it's a mess bc others won't as if I'm supposed to be the only employee cleaning if I were to accept the job. Told me if a customer returns a phone too many times the cost will come out my check. Manager comes in and calls me "sweetie" as if that is professional considering the context, says I may as well just go home and it's unfair I came to the interview and said I'm not willing to work when ever they want. They said they couldn't trust I would be a good worker for them because I didn't have the availability they wanted as if I would give bad customer service because of that. It's unfair they called me and then wasted my time for an hour talking down my experience and knowing what availability I had on my application in the first place. Manager says she cares about her employees but I doubt that bc of how she treated and allowed her assistant manager to treat a good customer turn prospective employer. They wonder why they are short good workers. And then I have been a regular, good customer that never gave them any problems. They said I needed to be able to lighten up and take a joke. Yeah the joke is them. I'm going to take my hard earned money elsewhere. They won't be getting it on their checks. I couldn't believe how they treated me in interview. I can only imagine how they would have treated me had they hired me. I guess them being nice to a customer is just a show. They need to learn how to respect and how to actually manage in a way that works for them and the company. Bad leadership at its finest right there.

Very frustrated with this visit at this location. This store sells clothes but won't let you return -- with receipt when it was purchased just three days ago and all tags still attached!!! (I bought two sizes of same pant so I could see which fit her and brought back the one that didn't fit.) They do NOT have a sign that says 'no clothes returns period'. I won't buy clothes there again; convenience isn't worth it and there are too many other places (including Walmart) that are comparable in price.

I was at this store on Temple Ave. The other day. And I asked one of the employees to speak with the manager. The employee pointed and said that is her. I could not believe it. This woman the way she was disrespecting a elderly gentleman was just awful. The lady in front of me said well you know who she is don't you? I said no should I. She said that's the woman that left a child on her school bus. SHANNON ARNOLD. I said what you must be mistaking. She said no that's her. Well my question to corporate family dollar is how on earth do you hire someone and put them in a place of authority when she left a child, a baby on a school bus parked at her home? I will be making a complaint to corporate office and her immediate supervisor. She has no business in customer service!

This store is always so clean and organized. The staff is friendly and always say "Hello" when you walk in the store. I go there just about everyday! They beat Dollar General by a mile!!
