Absolutely love Dogwood Vet!! Dr. Tolbert is amazing. My sweet baby had to have a tooth pulled and I was anxious about him being under anesthesia. She took extra precaution and even updated me several times to let me know he was just fine. Absolutely love the team at Dogwood and I will continue to go to them from now on. 10/10 for me!

I have been using Dogwood vet for well over 10 years and I have to say they are very good at what they do. They take very good care of your animal whether sick or just there for annual checkups. The staff is very friendly, courteous and down to earth and loves all animals that come thru their doors. If you get a chance, check them out. Oh and the fall festival every year is so much fun for everyone especially your pets!!

Everyone at Dogwood has been so kind and informative during a rough year for my dog with chronic illnesses. Kara and Gaby are phenomenal vet techs who explain everything thoroughly and compassionately. Dr. Horsely and Dr. Thomas are extremely knowledgeable and you can tell they truly care about their furry patients! I appreciate all of their advice and would recommend anyone who is looking for a great vet to come here. Everyone strives to give the best possible care and it shows. Hands down the best vet around. My four German Shepherds have been going here for years. Yesterday, I had the unfortunate decision to euthanize one. He was my best friend. To say the staff there were amazing is an understatement. They went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and care they showed Niko. They are top notch. They have a life long customer from me.

The entire staff at Dogwood Veterinary Hospital is amazing!! They show care and compassion for the furry friends and families that come in for a variety of reasons. Dr. Horsley is our Lottie's vet. She always listens to our concerns, offering suggestions to help in any way possible.

We took our 9 month old puppy to the practice this past Saturday, and what a delightful experience. We arrived at the office and we were greeted with love and care. The receptionist was so nice and we also talked about the puppy laying next to her. Zorah was a little scared at first but the vet assistance win her over. Dr Thomas explained us in detail what Zorah needed and the reason behind it with knowledge and care. I left the office with a sense of relief and grateful of finding y’all in the internet. We received follow up emails about her lab work not even two business days after her visit. Thanks for your service team! God bless you today, tomorrow and always🙏🏼 Espada/Busby family🐶

Had a pet emergency happen this week, and the vet/staff were able to see my cat right away and even went as far as setting up a follow up appointment the next day even though they were completely booked. The vet and staff were very thorough, professional, and caring. They made sure all my concerns were addressed. Highly recommend this facility!

Amazing place. I have been to so many vets in Mcdonough. Soooo not happy.My mom goes to Dogwood. Her dog has had to have sooo many things done. And she is extremely happy.My puppy has anxiety and had a seizure. They actually were able to see me right away. Maybe I just got lucky or maybe they are just that caring!!It was a group effort of discussing on what to do next.I am extremely happy and this is my vet now.My puppy went to Fayetteville emergency vet and acquired parvo from there while being seen for an emergency. There was absolutely no sympathy!!!!I'm not picky but I am pickyDogwood satisfied me on so many levels.

Lack of professionalism from one of the Doctors during a procedure for my animal. Got one of his nails trimmed for almost 600 Dollars. The worst part is that I wasn't even told everything that would happen and I had to find it out after taking the bandage off. Dr Getty is not the vet for my dog ever again. And barely an apology to follow from her. Massively upset from this would love to give no stars.

I took my dog here a couple times for a check up and for his vaccines & flea/tick meds. I called and asked if they could trim my dogs nails and they said it was no problem and asked me when I would like to come in. I came in the same day, they took my dog to the back and clipped his nails, within <5 minutes he was done. I said thank you to the vet staff and asked if there was anything else. They said I was all done and we were good to go! I left, and the next day my debit card was charged for $52 from the vet. When i called and asked they said it was $27 for a technician appt and $26 for the nail trim. I did not agree to my card being charged for any amount, as i was never shown a bill or even quoted any price. After expressing my concern to the office about the unauthorized charge, they said they could only refund me for the trim but not the technician appointment. Petsmart trims nails for $10. I said I would have never agreed to the appointment if they had been upfront with me about the cost. They did not apologize for the lack of communication, and the right thing to do would have been to refund the full amount. I do not recommend this vet to anyone. They are not fully transparent and I do not appreciate the poor handling of my situation. I will never be returning.

I followed Dr. Canaday from VCA to this lovely establishment. The VCA folks are excellent, but driving to Dogwood means no more Peachtree City traffic, which makes my car-ride-hating kittycat very happy -- and Kara was the sweetest vet tech! She showed my cat the little kitty-cubbie they have in the exam room, and it was smooth sailing from there. All the gold stars for her :)

LOVE Dogwood! You can tell that the people there care about the animals by the way they talk to them. The vet made sure my dog took his meds in office, rather than sending them home with me to administer at home like Banfield. Banfield is HORRIBLE compared to Dogwood!! I will continue to use them for our furry friend! I love how they already scheduled his next check up so I don't forget.

Everyone was wonderful to us and our poor 16 1/2 year-old goldendoodle. The vet and the staff couldn’t have been any better. We called on a Friday at 4:30 and they had us come in at 9 o’clock the next morning. Unfortunately we knew his time was up, but the Vet we’ve had the whole time we lived in Newnan, 8 years, was not willing to see him. When we went in, they were so kind and helpful, as we were very upset. It was so very difficult, saying goodbye to my best friend, but they certainly made it a little better. They gave us as much time as we needed. We even received a beautiful sympathy card signed by all the staff. I highly recommend this wonderful veterinarian & his staff. I’m very grateful.

This is my kitty Julie and Dogwood Veterinary took very very good care of her when she had her respiratory infection. They made her feel calm and comfortable. I've taken my fearful & reactive GSD mix here twice now, and both times had a wonderful experience -- Dr. Thomas and Dr. Tolbert were both so patient with him, and willing to answer all my questions. Thank you to the vets, and to Kara, Ashton, and Eunique, for finding creative and gentle ways to get Balto the vaccines and exams he needed, even when he was having such a hard time. I also appreciate that they told me right upfront what the cost of everything would be, so there were no surprises.

Definitely recommend. I feel so badly about coming on the only day yall close at 2. I came in 20 minutes before with my precious dog in tow because he was having trouble walking. They stayed an hour and a half to do all the tests to make him feel better. He got a steroid shot, fluids, testing and got prescribed medicine. We paid about 700 which is fair but they Definitely helped us. He's kind of walking better and he even ran a little today.They even tried to help us get the care card and scratch pay which I thought was just so sweet and they helped us download the app petdesk so we can get rewards towards his next appointment.They also recommended pet insurance which was super nice of them.Thank you so much to the staff that helped us. I really do appreciate it.I look forward to our next appointment!

We recently moved back to the area and needed a veterinarian for our pets. Our old girl Izzy was not doing well and Dr. Johnson and her staff were so kind and helpful. Helping us take care of her in her last months was tough but the staff at Dogwood helped us with grace and genuine care. We appreciate them and their efforts to go above and beyond for our animals. Their efforts to provide curb service during Covid also made us feel confident and safe.

I have visited many Veterinarians with several of my pets throughout the years. I recently moved to Georgia from Washington State. I needed a Vet in Georgia therefore I took my pup Stella in for a check up and immunizations at Dogwood. I couldn’t be happier with my visit. I have never had such thorough and friendly service before. Dr. Getty and Jamie were absolutely wonderful to work with. The girls up front and every employee I encountered couldn’t have been more kind or happier. Kind and happy employees in my eyes, tell a lot about Dogwood Veterinary Hospital and Laser Center.Stella will be having surgery here and I know she will be well taken care of.

Highly recommend! Have had a good experience every time I've been here. Dr. Thomas and Cassidy were great with my 4 year old fur baby at her recent appointment and she loved all the treats and attention she got. Unfortunately, our fear was confirmed and she was diagnosed with lymphoma, but they helped me get her into BluePearl quickly and she has started chemotherapy. We're hoping and praying for a positive outcome for our sweet girl!

I've taken two of my cats here when they were very ill - one recovered and continues to live a happy, healthy life (update: for another year, then he sadly passed away last week), while the other sadly was just too ill and the difficult decision to say goodbye to him had to be made.In both cases, Dr. Thomas, Dr. Horsely, and the staff here at Dogwood have been nothing but compassionate, patient, and caring - especially when I had to make the decision to say good bye to one of my cats. They let me come and visit him, sit with him, and made sure that when the time came to say goodbye, I had the ability to be there with him and to hold him close. When my second cat passed, I was taken to a room that had a nice couch and serene environment so that I could sing to him, tell him how much we loved him, and held him all wrapped in a blanket and warm against my heart when it came time to administer the medication to send him across the Rainbow Bridge.I cannot recommend them enough. I don't think I'll ever go to any other vet in the Atlanta area. They made such a brutally difficult time into something much less awful because of their love for animals. They care about your pets as much as you do, and they're just absolutely wonderful people.
