I’m responding to Glynda’s complaint as her post was completely untrue.I entered the store as she was asking about a specific sell. The cashier was explaining how the sale worked. Glynda did not like her answer and began to use explicit profanity towards the cashier. As I’m standing there with my daughter, I politely asked her to watch her language. Her grown daughter then turned to me with that same language and middle finger in my face. Trying to provoke a physical confrontation.It was very obvious that they were there to cause trouble. Glynda did ask for the cashiers name in which was written on paper at the end of the transaction. I witnessed this entire incident and I personally think it was handled with a lot of grace and composure. Good job, Amy! What a shame you all have to deal with such disgusting and filthy people!

I have lived in Newington for the past 3 years, this location is the closest to me and I've been a customer at this location since then. This evening I've had the worst experience I've ever experienced. I am a senior on a budget. I don't understand all the digital coupons and when I was telling the cashier that there was a sale on the coca cola 12 packs she started informing me that the sale will only come off if there's a digital coupons. We went in circles for a few minutes. She's saying I can't get the discount I'm saying I'm able too. My daughter started asking for her name because how rude she was being. My daughter wanted to call corporate. She refused to give us her name even after asking for a manager. She said she was the manager and once again she refused to give us her name. She finally wrote down her name on the receipt and after another customer started complaining. The cashier/ manager is named Amy. She was rude and has no customer service skill. I really do not want to go back into the store cause the way I was treated just hoping this situation gets resolved so no customer will ever have to feel the way I felt today

Our first visit to this DG. We found things we wanted and items not seen in other DG's. It was well stocked and no long lines at checkout. Recommend visiting!

Who ever reads these reviews needs to take a look a this store . Never any stock on shelves. For two weeks no juice, no cereal, no dishwasher products. I can go on and on. This store could be top selling store it has the traffic, but it is run very poorly. Need new management.

Today Kayla checked me out, this poor girl had dirt rolls and scales all over her neck. I COULD SMELL HER thru the plastic barrier hanging. PLEASE HAVE someone explain PERSONAL HYGIENE before and after work to this girl. She also read my total backwards twice. PLEASE for the sake of the public and your customers she needs to bathe regularly.

I do like it, its convenient and close to the house and most of the time the people are friendly. But many times they're out of stuff and boxes are cluttering the aisles. They need to more people on stock days.

I stopped going to this store for awhile. I finally went back after a couple months & it was worse. No stock in the coolers, no stock on the shelves, the store is cluttered with boxes & junk in the aisle. Never have the basic needs. I'm done with this store. I found a store that is clean & always stocked up, it's NOT a dollar General store either.

Y do the Newington Georgia Dollar general store never have anything on it shelf and went there a sell they never have anything of the sell in y can't the order ice cream and ice drink cat food dog food why is the store always so empty every time I go there to buy something there's nothing to buy so anyway y'all possibly can put stuff on the shelf or at least order some stuff so I can buy because it's about the only store in Newington and the stores completely empty nowadays

This store is suppose to be opened from. 8am-10pm it started closing at 7pm. And opening up at 10am because they can never keep people there. Something has to be done about this.

Just went in there at about 7:30 at night on 01/09/2022 needed to pick up a few things for my daughter's class I don't know if it was the manager on duty or what bit's white but the slender black long hair Caucasian woman working there was a very rude and told me that I didn't need to be calling for for help up front because the cashier was in the bathroom well I'm not there to be there all night she was the one rude argued with me and argue with me so I finally left and I did report her to corporate

The people that work here are awesome, the prices are right, and the location is perfect. Now people that live in the country aren't forced into a 20+ mile drive for shopping.
