They had worm castings and the best potting soil, for small town Nashville, that's pretty amazing. If Scotty doesn't have it, he'll try his best to get it.

Great selection, poor customer service. Have been in multiple times and am never acknowledged until after waiting several minutes and having to say something. Not a head nod or an "I'll be right with you." Nothing. Many times the owner is sitting on a couch in the office area petting his cat or dog. Which is great, but he doesn't act like he even wants customers. It comes across as very odd.I asked my husband to go pick up feed from there, thinking maybe it was a female thing, but it's not. One of the other employees had loaded the feed and my husband waited unacknowledged for more than 5 minutes (the owner was talking on the phone) to be rang up.If you want people to "Buy Berrien" you may need to offer customer service classes. I truely hope service improves. WHILE I will try them again, my patronage may be coming to an end. I would rather go out of my way to another store than to be treated as a burden when I enter place of business.

Ok for a feed store you do have to watch the feed for mold but they will replace it if any problems
