You can always find something here rather you are going looking for one particular thing or just want to grab some household items. If your like me I always leave with things I didn't even come for 🤣. Also, the staff here is always polite and helpful.

Store seems understaffed. There is never really staff that you can see in the store. Usually out of at least one item I need everytime I go and is a little cluttered with boxes sitting around and stuff laying everywhere. Staff is generally nice but can seem a little standoffish. Not my favorite dollar store to go to.

The lady who worked there was walking outside to smoke while I was standing at the door still outside. I was looking at the clearance items. She told me there was a lot more on clearance inside so I went inside and looked at the items on the clearance table, then she had told someone else who was shopping the back isle with air freshener was on sale... I had my buggy full by time I got ready to leave. Not a single item was on sale. Even the wind chimes I got from outside rang up full price. Over $400. Then the lady at the cash register said "someone is lying to you all because we never put anything on sale."

Nothing ever works in this store manager is very rude and trashy looking needs whole new staff and new equipment for it to be a new store they need to do better

My experience was exceptional. Lakel helped me by searching through stock that was just taken off the truck to help me find some cat food as there was none on the shelf. He and another male employee went out of their way to help me until I found what I needed. This is a huge turn around from when Andy was the manager there. I had stopped shopping at this store because of his attitude, but from now on, as long as Lakel is there, this will be my dollar general to shop in. Kuddos to him and the rest of the employees at Dollar General #21472!!!!

I love this place but since the pandemic it's been hard for them to restock the shelves but nevertheless you can still find some things and the staff at the Norman Park, GA location is always friendly and greet you each time you go there.

FIRST LET ME SAY I LOVE DOLLAR GENERAL!!!! GREAT AWESOME, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL CASHIERS. CLEAN STORE EVEN THOUGH THERES ALWAYS FULL CARTS IN THE AISLES MAKING IT HARD TO NAVIGATE THRU THE STORE. ALSO WHOMEVER DOES THE ORDERING NEEDS TO REALIZE THAT SOME THINGS SELL MORE ALL THE TIME AND IF YOU ARE ALWAYS OUT OF THE SAME PRODUCTS EVERY WEEK, YOU NEED TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT THATS ORDERED. IF NOT FOR THAT I WOULD RATE 5 STARS.
