Stopped in yesterday to get a prime rib roast. They were Johnny on the spot and the female butcher hooked me up with a beautiful, four rib, prime rib roast, removing the bone and reattaching with butcher string. Keep up the great work!

Today was my first time ever shopping at Quality Foods. They provided the most excellent customer service and were so welcoming! The gentleman in the meat department even asked where I was from and said he hoped I would come back. The cashiers informed me of the digital coupons and I even got a free pack lemon basil tuna! It’s nice to experience such awesome customer service these days. Quality foods you are doing it right!

I found this place shortly after moving to Monroe from southwest Georgia. They are extremely nice and friendly. The meats are great plus they will cut things the way you want them. What really impressed me was I hadn’t been in for about 4-5 months due to my husband being in the hospital and subsequently passing away when I came in and got to the meat counter I was greeted with. We’re so glad you’re back! We had been wondering what happened to you. Most other places you’re just another face but not here it’s like you’re family! Love Monroe Quality Foods!

Business Law 101 and Federal Trade Commission Gov/ The Consumer Review Fairness Act, protects people's ability to share their honest opinions about a business's Products, Services, or Conduct in any forum. As a customer it's very critical that customers are able to Advocate their Concerns about Quality Foods Inc. behavior regarding these Multi-unprofessional acts. Store# 748, Monore, Ga. Store Employees actor and actress Wesley and Kim whom performs at a low grade level because they have know other choice to frequently and habor inappropriate acts with the avoidance too deliver Top Tier custmer services. Store #748 is in desperate need of an educated virual session, as it regards too the entire Entity of providing customer service practices, expire foods, stale foods, and the misrepresentation of the products they sale to customers. Some of these complaints are repented, along with Quality Foods Inc. not providing a resolution to perform better Customer service/Goods Practices. As it pretains, ( I don't frequently at this store, now that I'm proud to advocate it after the facts) this store was the only one that carries this product that was close in distances. I return to the store to forward my concerns about the wrong product, the nice young man at the customer service counter, listened and directed me to retreive the correct one. I followed suit , unfortunately , the female Kim, stated they ' can't take the product back as it has been open: I replied: the item hasn't been use, however, opened yes! but cleary from the smell/almost the same labeling info on the others, this is the wrong product. The female Kim made a condescending statement and was smirking, this behavior can frustrate customers as Kim should know, but doesn't ( Condescension is not always what a person says, but how it is said that matters, also in business, she should know and learn to avoid sarcasm, muttering, and etc.). I request to speak with someone other than her to make sure what was stated was their Store Policy, so she calls the male Wesley. After explaining my concerns to him, he was in head nodes into agreement with her as ( Kim was Eye Coding him) and stated no they don't allow Wrong or Misrepresentation returns. I agree to purchase the other one as it seems their Verbal customer service Policy is Dismantle at Zero basis. I voice my concerns letting Kim know while she keeps displaying condescend and interrupting me, I mirrored her own reflection as demonstrating the same behavior to her and inform her to continue providing additional info I would need to speak with their Store Corparation regarding policy. Wesley didn't like that , and proceed to tell me I can't leave with the product and he begin to cross a different Level of Boundaries: coming into customers Personal space to grab a Hugh Glass jar that could have potentially cause harm in many scenarios. Maybe he does this in personal space at home to women, however , I let him know to Never put your hands nor Cross boundries To Take Anything Out of Customers Hands on a women, especially a brown woman. He has lost his mind! We both called the police, and I was happy the Officer I spoke with were nice to me and fair in this situation. Welsey had to proceed with his nitwit character trait to fulfill his little man ego ( which is laughable, because cleary thats the only boost of strength he has ever had in his life) I was glad, there're furthermore Quality Retail Food Chains that provide excellent customer service Skills and making sure their customers needs are met in a manner that reflects positive on the their business, however, we've to make sure Kroger's and etc. start providing ( few in between items that are hard to find ) items so therefore customers who want excellent service don't ever have to step foot in a Establishment with Filthy Restroom and in-store Odors and Bad customer service with know insurance to Back Their Product Goods. I now have the correct item I need, thanks to Walmart. It's a new dawn a new day and customers shouldn't expect anything less!

The only reason I came here tonight was because I had to pick up sugar on my way home, and I live right down the street so it was a convenience thing. The employees I came across on my visit here had 0 customer service. The guy who checked me out (High School, or College age) had absolutely no interest in wanting to help me. There’s no “Hello, How are you?” “Did you find everything ok”? Not even just “Hello” in general. Only “Your total is 3.24” like it’s such a burden to do his job. He much rather joke around to fellow employees about how he didn’t get no sleep the night before and he’s so tired because he was out late in Atlanta. Yeah, I’m 26 years old and work full time buddy. I’m tired too but I still show up everyday to work 100% ready to make the best out of my day. I’ll keep shopping at John’s Supermarket, and so should you. Don’t waste your time or money here.

It's a great small town store. There aren't as many options as there are in bigger stores, but you can usually find all of the basics and a few brands that other stores don't carry. It's always clean, and the workers go out of their way to be kind and helpful. Though Monroe had grown I love the small town feel of Quality Foods.

Is it like mandatory to work here to be rude to customers at check out? Been frequenting this store for a few years (but I hate every time I have to come in for last minute things) but every single time, the people who are checking you out either A. Don’t say anything to you, B. Are rude as I’ll get out or, C. Too busy chatting with the bagger or texting on their phone. I typically don’t leave reviews but for this to be a Christian ran business you would think they would expect better or demand better from their employees

Its an old, smelly building, but they keep most things stocked up, which i cant say for Walmart. They have failed to restock cases of full throttle drinks, but thats the coke vendors fault.

It's simple really. If you like standing in long lines, paying to much, ringing up and bagging your own groceries then go to Publix. If you like filthy carts and bathrooms, rude and condescending employees then go to Walmart. But, if you like clean stores, friendly and helpful employees, well stocked shelves, and beautiful meats and produce- then Quality Foods is your best choice.

This place is ridiculous. There is a really kind gentleman who walks the mall strip and they are absolutely terrible to him. He was working there and they refused to give him his paycheck, now today they are telling him he can't sit in the seat that is right outside the door. Now this gentlemen doesn't smoke but he is challenged, he likes to talk to people and doesn't always make sense which can off put some people but this is no way to treat customers or former employees. I absolutely hate this place and the way they manage their business. You should consider going to one of the other businesses that actually knows what customer service is. I will NEVER go back in this dispicable place.

Very nice grocery store! The staff are friendly and customers too. Feels like family there❤Prices are good as well on most things. The only thing I wish they would have more of is gluten free options for my kiddo with allergies. I have to shop elsewhere for her. That is the only drawback. That's why I gave 4 stars 🌟

This is our go to place for fresh meats. My wife also likes pig feet and they usually have them when other places don't. They used to carry Old Dutch Sweet and Sour Dressing. I hope they still do.

The name "Quality Foods" is an appropriate name for this early classic "Blue Star" era supermarket. It is not a huge modern day food store but accommodates most grocery needs with the ordinary, extra ordinary, and some hard to find surprising good treats. There are continuous sales, great buys, largely displayed in the front windows. Quality Foods and this plaza is continuously kept very clean, and very well maintained.Employees are very serious, friendly, and helpful. You won't find fun and games among the workers here. It can get a little weird up front at the check out registers and customer service counters. Be careful not to get hooked with their high tech communications system, and those who are over eager to use it.The word has been, shoppers who currently travel out for groceries would prefer to shop locally and look forward to an added quality neighboring deli & bakery. This would be an attractive topper for "Quality Foods", and this "Blue Star" style plaza, and the shoppers who seek good "quality" food in our daily lives. A "Johnny's" New York Style Pizza would also be a nice attraction for the prospering potential within this nice little Plaza.Mark Middleton -

The drive was not far from Loganville and the place is clean outside and inside. The quality of food is acceptable and meat section if not shipped in they package and wrap it there. I would say if you want some where local and small here is your place.

The only reason I gave this store two stars is because of their great meat prices. Customer service is abysmal. The cashiers barely speak unless your a local and regular I guess. Went through a little girl's line today and said "how are you today?" She just stood there and didn't say a word. Every time we shop here no one speaks, and they act as if they don't care about their job. If your going to work in the service industry you have to speak to customers... Duh. It shouldn't be the customers responsibility to acknowledge themselves at a retail establishment. It really is a shame because it's a pretty nice store and I like everything but the employees. Oh well I guess Publix will come to town put somebody else out of business because they offer great customer service.

It's a local grocery store in small-town Monroe, GA. There is only one other grocery store of consequence in the town, unless one chooses to go to Walmart--which I do not when I can avoid that.The cashiers are friendly, in general, and they do the best they can with what must be a very repetitive job. I usually get a smile and a pleasant greeting when I begin my checkout.The food is reasonably priced. Some items are completely missing: I found no plant-based "meats" of any kind, but I suppose the market for those in this area is not large. They do not carry any beer or wine, but I rarely buy those anyway. On the other hand, they do have, in the produce section, such unusual things as chunks of white kaolin and yellowroot tea; however, I do not buy those. There is local honey, I notice.Living in the area in which this store is my nearest grocery, I depend on it for staples, just nothing very exotic, but, hey, they did have some imported Danish butter. Once I even found some non-fat cottage cheese, a rarity even in larger stores; they were closing it out, probably because no one else wanted it. I took the few tubs they had left.For serious grocery shopping, I drive a few extra miles to Winder, to the magnificent Ingles grocery over there.Update, December 2022: This store has improved in a number of ways since the Monroe Publix opened. There is somewhat more variety, the freezer section is much better, and the interior seems to be neater and more up to date. It is still my first choice for routine grocery shopping.Store employees are always helpful and courteous.

Downside- they don't sell beer or wine.Otherwise, great place to shop for meat, produce, and frozen foods. Usually not very busy and wait time for checkout is minimal. Much better alternative for grocery shopping than any other place currently in the area. Staff is friendly and helpful, parking is convenient and handicap accessible.
