Staff is great, my dog has been seen at least twice for a ear problem and skin irritatation, the diagnosis is clear, its a recurring problem. The medicine is to keep the problem from getting worse but will not cure the problem. The doctor insist that we come in and let him see our dog again, spend the $65.00 just so he can examine and tell us what we already know.

Dr. Anderson went above and beyond to diagnose our golden retriever. Realizing that they did not have the facilities to address his issue (turned out to be CHF), she used her connections with UGA to get him seen the same day. This saved his life, as they were able to perform the proper procedures to drain excess fluid from around his heart. Tiber thanks you !!

The best clinic, Dr. Anderson is the absolute BEST! Dali loves his visits to the vet, he gets super excited as soon as we head that way! I have very high standards for the services and care my animals receive. I’d give Monroe Veterinary Clinic ten stars if I could.Dr. Mitchell and the staff are attentive, caring, knowledgeable, and always calm and honest. I never get “over-prescribed”, whether it’s med, diagnostics, or something else. I’ve even started buying my specialty cat food there because I want to support them in any way I can.Vets have a tough job. Their patients can’t use words and having the ability to understand what is happening and what needs to be done is critical. MVC does it and does it well.

Monroe Veterinarian Clinic is the top clinic in my opinion.I been taking my 2 dogs here for 7 years and never had any problems or complaints with their outstanding care. Stephanie has been grooming our babies with style!One of my dog just had to have surgery on Friday with Dr. Anderson which was very scary for us because of her age.Dr. Miller talked to us about the process and what could happen but was pretty confident that she would be okay because of how healthy she is even though she is 17 years old.I am glad to say she was absolutely right!! She came back strong & healthy. Monroe Veterinary Clinic made sure to check on us afterwards and schedule her post op visit with no problems.I love this place and highly recommend them:)

I was told by Dr. Anderson that I needed to come pick up my dog because they had given him sedation meds twice and he was still not wanting them to touch him. She told me that he had caused her to be 30 minutes behind and that she couldn't waste any more time on him. However he slept sound for two hours after I got him home. Maybe she should have waited for him to go to sleep before she tried to treat him. Not very nice customer service at all. My dog is very nervous and he was just scared.

We have been coming here for years for our animals. Today my dog got put with Dr. Anderson. My dog is very nervous and has high anxiety. She was extremely rude to my mother and my dog. She gave him two rounds anesthesia to preform what need to be done, shots, nail trim, etc. Did not wait until he was asleep to do anything. She said my dog was the reason she was behind. Made my mother come pick him up with out caring what would happen to him after two rounds of anesthesia. Now my dog is out like a light for past few hours sleeping and very worried about him. Please choose someone there as your doctor. My dog is my child. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I took my cat here 2 days in a row. The first day they said that he had a lot of gas built up and they didn't see anything else wrong with him. The next day they did another x-ray and said that he has a destruction in his stomach and intestines and he would need to have a $5,000 surgery! We have spent over $1,000 at this vet and they never once showed us a x-ray, never gave us his rabies tag or checked on him! I am going to get a second opinion!!! They sent my baby home with a glucose level of 515 with no medicine, nothing and they sent our baby home to die!!! Our baby passed away this morning with the absolute best care from Bold Springs Animal Hospital!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND MONROE VETERINARY CLINIC AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

Have been bringing our family pets here for as long as I can remember! always greeted warmly and welcoming. The tech was happy to allow me to see my dog after his surgery and answered all the questions I had. Affordable. Will be returning in a couple months too get teeth cleaning and would not go anywhere else other than here.

Dr Kaitlin Miller and her staff were beyond kind and loving when assisting us with the hardest decision we had to make for our 15 year old girl. The staff was very accommodating for my husband and I along with our 2 children to spend time with with our beloved pet.They were thorough in explaining the process, what to expect and answering questions my children had.The office took care of all the after care for us, which relieved so much stress and allowed us time to grieve.They took clay paw impressions for us to take home the day of. We chose cremation and were able to go back and pick up the ashes within the week. Along with the ashes, they had very nicely clipped a piece of her hair and tied it in a ribbon. Everything was very well packaged and nicely taken care of including the blanket she went in with. The amount of detail they put into everything shows the love they have for your pet.I honestly can't express how much it hurts to lose a pet you've had for 15 years, but Monroe Veterinary Clinic made it possible.Thank you Monroe Vet. This is the best vet clinic I have ever been to for my pets! Every time we have an emergency, they are so willing to fit us in and make sure that my family is taken care of. The care we receive is well worth the cost, and they are always patient to explain costs and work with our budget.We see Dr. Miller most of the time, and she is THE BEST!!! Always super kind and sweet to our furbabies to where they are never really nervous to go in anymore. We have also seen Dr. Anderson for emergencies when Dr. Miller isn't there, and she is amazing as well. The techs and front desk workers are all great too. I have never had a bad experience here and I really can't say enough good things about this place!

Mr. Nix missed diagnosed my cat on a Friday and that following Monday my cat was dead. He said she had bad teeth and the reason why she was throwing up was because she was eating too much. The second vet I took her to that Monday said there was absolutely nothing wrong with her teeth and she a blockage. I feel if my cat was diagnosed correctly she would still be alive. If you care about your animals take them elsewhere. I would not bring them here.

Very disappointed. I asked them to give my cat an appetite stimulant if she quit eating. She quit 3 days in and was there 5 days. I also asked them to check her ears,( shes been scratching them, and shaking her head), nothing done, 5he ugh said they were fine. She came home weighing 7.5 pounds, from not eating and now is wheezing, which is probably a upper respiratory infection, and her eye is running! I brushed her 3 times last night, and all 3 times, the brush was full. I paid $27 extra dollars for brushing. They charged me for nail clipping, which should have been included. I used to bring her here several yrs ago. Wont be back. They were very expensive. My bill was $260.

There are no words to describe how good Dr. Mitchell and the staff were to my Doberman yesterday. This was our first visit there and they took very good care of us and showed so much care! They even called today to see how he was doing and ask for another call on Monday. Who does that?? Only people who are truly dedicated to loving our animals as much as we do! I have actually been using this vet clinic for years so I really wish I didn't have to write this review, but it's the only way I know to warn others. I have a senior dog who has never had any issues, but when I took her for her yearly around Memorial Day, Dr. Nix said she had an ear infection and he was putting BCP ointment in her ears and it needed to sit for 2 weeks. I was not warned of any potential side effects. She also had vaccines due on this visit so when she got home and was lethargic, I though it was due to the shots. Then I realized she couldn't hear. I called everywhere I could think of and was told this was normal for this ointment. A heads up would have been nice. Of course it was a holiday weekend so I couldn't take her back until the following Tuesday to get it flushed out of her ears, but the damage was already done. They gave me take-home drops to administer instead which I don't understand why they didn't give these to me first. I took her back for follow-ups numerous times and they kept charging me ridiculous fees even when I was only taking her because of what they did to her ears. They tried to tell me the hearing loss was age-related!! No. She could hear PERFECTLY until they destroyed her hearing. So here we are several months and hundreds of dollars later and she still can't hear. Please let this be a warning! There are better vet clinics out there who actually care about animals and not more about making money. This has completely changed her personality and affected our lives and routines and my dog did not deserve this! Shame on you!

Dr Mitchell was very thorough in her examination of our dog, explaining what was going on with her and the treatment. When we came back for a follow-up appointment she took time to speak with me to make sure I didn't have any questions. Great Covid policies in place so that everything goes smoothly!

If i could give them 50 stars i would! Hands down best vet we have ever been to. Everyone from the receptionist who answered the phone at 7:30am to my panicked phone call about my 7 week old puppy being lethargic with vomiting and diarrhea praying she didnt have parvo, all the techs, and the dr herself were all so kind and caring. They treated my sweet girl kiach and myself with the upmost kindness, compassion and respect! They truely cared about my puppys well being & that means the world to me! We will definitely be repeat customers with her as well as our other 4 dogs! Thank you again to each and everyone of you! (For those who are curious...SHE WAS PARVO FREE!) 💜💜

I can not emphasize enough how amazing everyone at this office is. If I could give it a thousand stars I would. My baby boy had 2 auto immune diseases that were very aggressive and the very first time we took him in they saw him right away and wanted to see him every day after with or without an appointment. They did everything they could to help him and were so so SO good to him and us. I cannot explain how great full I am to them. He passed away but they made his last day so loved and he knew he was cared for. They truely looked after him and us. I wouldn’t have wished to have gone anywhere else. It seems selfish to try to put into words how much I appreciate them because it’ll never do it justice. But if you love your fur babies, take them here because they’ll love them just as much!
