The girl at the front is very sweet and understanding. While waiting in line, I noticed a young male worker was incredibly rude to a customer in front of me. Learn to respect your customers please. I will be reporting this to the higher-ups. I was merely a bystander and felt the negativity.

The people here are very welcoming and will ask if you need any help immediately when you pop into the store. We bought several plant vegetables here. The vegetable garden is growing rapidly. This store takes great pride in what they sell.

Y'all, this place is awesome! We are flipping a house near there and we brought them the most crazy green paint color to match and they did it with the paint we wanted that we couldn't get at the bigger stores!! And also they have such great personalities! I was so pleased with the way we were treated and how much they had in the store. Thanks for being so great!!

Many be a little more than Home Depot or Lowe's on some things, but the service out weighs any additional costs. They meet you at the door and personally escort you to the item you need. I bought a gas powered edger and Brandy even took the time to register my machine and warranty right there in the store. They even put gas in it and took me outside to start it and show me what I needed to know for cold start. Who does that!! Ace does!! Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get that kind of service...YOU WILL NOT!!!Thank you Brandy and ACE for a shopping experience bar none to anyone else.

Wow wow wow is all I can say. I saw they had a speciality Halloween popcorn that my family LOVES and I live 45 minutes from this location. I placed an online order to go pick it up, so I wouldn’t drive all the way there and it be out of stock. I placed the order Sunday (they are closed), but first thing Monday I got a call it was ready. I went to pick it up Tuesday morning. I had my child in the car with me so I called when I arrived and asked if they would bring it to my car for me. The older gentleman who I talked to on the phone and brought out my order was so nice. I haven’t received this quick, efficient, and kind customer service in ages and it put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. I wish I got his name. Thank you!

Excellent customer service at this ace hardware. John the owner and the rest of the staff always seems to go above and beyond to make sure you get the help you need and are satisfied. I recently bought a new BiG Green Egg grill and table setup. They made sure to paint the table the exact color I wanted and even delivered the setup to my house in the exact location I wanted it in. They made everything easy and got a customer for life. Love our new Ace Hardware here in Monroe. Good people here.

Super friendly staff and so helpful! Even the youth are conversational and ask you about your day and if u need anything. I went in for a chainsaw bar and the gentleman working there was so incredibly informative and helpful. That's my store now. 👍🏻😊

I get and respect independent businesses can do what they want. I needed to get some propane for my RV which isn't quite winterized. It takes two tanks One was empty the other was half full and I had a third tank that was about half full. I wanted to give them them business versus tractor supply because I want there to be more than one place in town that fills propane on site. The lady informed me that I would be charged based on the size of the tank not based on how much they took. This is kind of like going into a gas station and saying I have a 22 gallon gas tank that's half full getting charged for 22 gallons. Again it's your business but keep in mind it's a cold winter right now and I can't run out of gas which means I have to bring in tanks that are half full sometimes and your policy kind of stinks so it's back to tractor supply.

Very nice organized store. Staff are very helpful. Some items seem to be higher price than items at other stores, but what isn't. Store needs to get out of the live plant business. The ones I saw where wilted and burned up from Sun.

Horrible experience! I was given a gift from my grandmother that I did not need so I decided to return it to my local Ace. After 30 minutes of screwing around the staff told me that I needed to return the gift to the ORIGINAL store! Weird because I only wanted a store credit so that I could buy something else. I drive across town to the original Ace store that the items were purchased at. I get to the counter and the girl looks like I just have her 100 algebra problems. She then calls the manager bc apparently this store has never received a gift return without a receipt. The manager walks up and I explain that it was a gift for the third time! He presses a button and tells me that the money went on the original card which doesn’t help me at all! He smiles at me and tells me that he’s already pressed the button and there was nothing that he could do. Apparently, if someone buys you a gift from a Florida Ace hardware store you’ll have to drive to Florida and return the item. Only for them to put it on the original card instead of simply giving you a store credit. Didn’t help that I am a man of color (figured I’d have an issue anyhow) Unbelievable!

Ace Lumber is a store I use a lot. Unfortunately, this place is brand new and I've only been here twice. It's organized and the employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. My go to Ace store is in Loganville, GA. It's bigger.

So glad we have Ace in Monroe. Customer service was awesome from the time I walked in with a friendly enthusiastic hello from the cashier, the young lady in power equipment checking on me and then John the owner taking care of my green egg modular nest purchase.
