Constantly getting calls from this locations pharmacy about other peoples prescriptions being ready. I don’t think for privacy reasons they should give out the persons name with what medications they are taking. Also I don’t even live in Georgia anymore nor have I ever lived in Monroe when I did. Double check they have your correct number if you use this location.

I literally go here every other day. I can pick up prescriptions, get my shots, and do some light grocery shopping. The pharmacy staff is amazing. They are always busy little bees and still able to be so sweet. Love this location!

I’ve never had any issues at this location. I’m always met with friendly staff members. I never have any issues getting my prescriptions. Even though one of my prescriptions isn’t always in stock, they always get it ordered and I never have to wait more than a week to get it. This location has been the best location I’ve ever had prescriptions filled at.

Starting to wonder if their phone even works… transferring my prescription elsewhere after sitting on hold for over 45 minutes waiting for someone to answer. Ridiculous

The pharmacy won't answer the phone. Not for me, not for my doctor, not for another pharmacy. Hours on hold. Ended up speaking with the wonderfully kind folks at CVS on Atlanta Hwy in Athens to get my prescription transferred out of Monroe. Avoid this place if you can!

Do NOT use this place. They give pharmacist sole discretion over what they will or wont fill for you. No consistent policy they are all forced to follow.

I had a prescription that wasn't covered by insurances so when I went to pick up the medicine the tech literally stated insurance didn't cover your medicine and walked off. No discussion about whether I wanted to pay cash or use good rx or anything. They later texted me my prescription was ready to pick up.

Worst pharmacy in Monroe. I’ve had to suffer using this pharmacy for years because all other pharmacies were out of network until this year because I changed my insurance. The pharmacist is lazy. For one of my prescriptions (after my insurance changed) (this started in January) they charged me full price (almost $100). I asked the pharmacy why, and was told that my medication was not covered. I was upset and beginning to regret my insurance change. The next month the same thing happened. I was resigned to the increased medication but realized that there was a small difference in the price I paid. So I contacted my insurance. I found out that my insurance automatically pays for 7 days of the medicine (which explained the price difference) but WILL cover the medicine if I get a prior approval, which the pharmacy should have started. My next month’s prescription was back to $10. The following month another prescription was rejected and when I asked why. I was told that my insurance only pays for 2 months of that medicine. I was already aware of this and told them that my insurance will pay but needs a prior authorization and could they please contact the insurance. I was told that they already did and it was denied. I refused to pick up my prescription and called my insurance which started the prior authorization immediately and I was able to pick up my medicine at the normal price. AGAIN. a few weeks later I needed my vitamin which is prescription strength. When I picked it up my cost, which is normally $2.58, was over $15. When I asked why. I was told that my insurance did not pay for vitamins that were over the counter. When I stated that my insurance paid for my prescription in January, she checked with the pharmacist again. I was again told that it was not covered. I took my business across the street to Walgreens and I’m sure you can guess. My prescription was $2.58. They still text me constantly asking if I want to refill my meds and I reply NO. Then I get another text stating that my prescription is ready. I have finally got my last prescription changed over and will never go there again. Another problem I have with them is with their photo service. I ordered pictures and picked them up promptly. I received calls and texts for 3 months reminding me to pick up my order. I had to go to the store to have them physically look for the pictures, which of course were not there, and made sure they updated their system yo stop the calls. This happened twice. CVS is awful.

Switched from Walgreens because if insurance but this is the worst store of pharmacy I had ever been to . I drive another 15 miles to keep from having to deal with them. They are rude, could care less about the customer and their need for meds. Act like they hate you and there job.

The absolute worst Pharmacy we have ever used! Time after time they are unreliable. We’ve lived all over the country and have always had great service with CVS. Today, I have been on hold for more than 20 minutes, simply trying to communicate with the pharmacy and ask they hold my child’s Rx until tomorrow. We’ve had other issues as well, this was finally the one that made me give a review. Enough is enough. Management don’t you care? Pharmacist don’t you care, after all you are the “Leader”?I suppose we will end up moving over to Walgreens.Now on hold for exactly 27:24.

Twice now my wife has tried to obtain my sick infant sons medicine and no one at this location seems to care. Yesterday there was not enough insurance information from the doctor. Today after waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru with a sick crying baby, she’s told they can’t enter a few lines of information and she would have to come inside because there was a line behind her. This is unacceptable, she waited her turn, the customers behind her can wait their turn. Again, we will no longer fill our prescriptions at this location, it would be in CVS’s best interest to look into customer service policies to prevent them from losing customers in the future... but who am I kidding, customer service is dead...

While the location is quite convenient and the staff have been friendly to me, I have had to stop refilling my prescriptions here because they are almost never finished when I am told they will be. A few months ago, I used their system and set to pick up my prescriptions. I gave it a few extra hours because in the past they had been late. I showed up and they asked me if I could wait 20 minutes, because it wasn't ready, even though this was 3 hours after the supposed pickup time. I had to catch a flight and could not wait so I had to leave without my needed medication. I decided to give them another try today, as I want to give my business to businesses in Monroe rather than surrounding towns. Once again, despite showing up when I was told to, the prescription is not ready. When I ask why, they say they have been busy recently. Unfortunately, the problem goes deeper than this, because it has been the norm for them each time I refilled there over the past few years.

I just went through the drive-thru. The woman at the window must move in slow motion. When I FINALLY made it to the window she took my debt card and turned her back for about 10 minutes. The entire time she just stood there. I finally asked if there were a problem and she turned and rudely said “I’m running your card now sir”. “It’s an old system and it takes a minute”. Really? I’ve gone through that drive-thru many many times and it has NEVER been slow. EVER! Hateful, rude, and I have no idea what she was doing with my card all that time.

This pharmacy is by far one of the slowest, worst CVS stores I have ever been to. Will drive out of my way to stay away from this one. Trying to get a status update and have been on hold for over 30 minutes. They also give conflicting information to try and get you to leave them alone (we don't know when the shipment is getting in or if it has the drug your kids need). What a mess...

There’s no one ever at the front register, the pharmacists are rude as heck, it’s always messy and unstocked even after I call and ask if something is there. When I tried to ask an associate for what I was looking for, they ignored me. I saw 3 different people walking around without a mask on. There was no wipes or sanitiser by the carts and the sanitiser by the pharmacy was empty. When I mentioned it to the pharmacist, she rolled her eyes and told me it wasn’t her job. Just disgusting and disgraceful. Will be using Walgreens across the street. 0/5 stars

Although they never have anything ready when they say they will I continued to use them. Today was the last straw. Not only did I call ahead before coming but I gave extra time ; get there it’s still not ready ; I also had new insurance so I had them update it, Park 30Min get back in line and find out insurance info had been entered incorrectly, guy tried fixing and still was lost ( I call and find out they aren’t in network) which should be known by pharmacist and techs but he was completely lost! Finally I call back to have it transferred to another pharmacy and they said I have to do it ; even my dr office was surprised when I told them they wouldn’t do it & it’s offered on the dang recording. CVS IS A COMPLete joke!!!

Do NOT get your prescription filled here. BAD attitudes and miscommunication for starter. The head pharmacist inactivated one of my prescriptions simply because they felt like it when I needed my medicine and therefore I could not fill it and had to suffer. This is the 5th time probably that they've done this. I feel sorry for both prescribers and the pharm techs that are at the mercy of such dickweeds that think they're cops or something. Seriously. NOT the place to get your prescriptions.

If I could give 0 stars, I would, the pharmacy is EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT!! ,the system is always going down, all you ever hear from the pharmacy employees are complaints about there customers, and if a customer has a question or is is having a bad moment they flat out REFUSE to help them, waiting for over 2 hours for a medication, that I was told would be ready in 30 minutes, who ever RUNS THIS STEP IT UP!!!!!

I have been in this one twice as it’s near to work. Both times I have worked there was no one at the counter and had to flag them down. I went this morning and the worker was very rude and seemed annoyed that I had to get her to check me out. Slinging my items around and throwing them in the bags and quickly leaving before I even picked up my bags. Will not be back.

Arrived this morning at 8am and the woman working literally shut the door in my face and said it would be just a moment. I waited outside for about 5+ minutes (it’s still below freezing) before I went across the street to Walgreens. I can still see people waiting out front 15 minutes after the time says they open.

Store is always dirty looking shelves look disheveled and unorganized. The staff is not very friendly at all they anymore like I'm a burden then anything else. Which baffles me since I'm buying products and it's your job.

Most of the time it can be somewhat difficult to find what you are looking for. Check out is quite easy though. The store also doesn't look the cleanest sometimes.
