This is a great example of a family friendly ran business looks like. Great price, good selection, and the ability to call in orders make the shop even better. Recently ordered the Oyster party pack, large jumbo shrimp, tilapia, whiting, and some crabsAll the seafood was fresh, especially the oysters. The shop might not look like much, but the customer service is outstanding from the moment you walk thru the door.

I have been buying fresh seafood from these guys for 20 years and I have never been disappointed. They carry all sizes of locally harvested Georgia shrimp, have crab legs, oysters, fish, etc. and the quality is consistent. Their prices are the best around, too.Go early. Don't try to cut it close with their closing time. (Sometimes they shut 'er down early.) You will be glad you did.

My family LOVES this place!!!! If you are in the area, this is a great place to purchase fresh seafood!! The man who helped us was friendly and very helpful.The next time we are in Richmond Hill we will definitely be stopping by to purchase our shrimp, fish, gator tail, and who knows what else.I highly recommend Ken's Seafood Market!!!!!!

Their oysters are top quality and they have a great selection. If oysters are in season, they have the best price and usually more than 1 type. Shrimp are sold at a good price and are also high quality. And if you have questions about anything the staff are very helpful. Order your oysters early to reserve them for busy weekends such as New Years, The Super Bowl, etc. And you'll be glad that you did.

It's a tiny little spot in Richmond Hill but if you want shrimp or other seafood to take home the prices are very competitive. Forget getting frozen shrimp at the grocery store it's cheaper here and fresh. As for blue crabs they haven't had any yet this season due to price, eager to see what they have later in the season.

The quality of the shrimp was excellent and I would have given a five star rating. However, I bought the 4 pound special and when I got home and weighed them on my very accurate kitchen scale, the bag only came to 3 pounds 8 ounces.

Have been buying from Ken's Seafood for the past 7 years and was always happy with the fresh seafood. Yesterday we bought shrimp and they were not as fresh as usual. Hoping that with shrimping season open they will be back to having those delicious fresh ones!

I was treated very rudely in Kroger when I asked a question about their crab legs in the seafood section! A friend of mine told me about Ken's seafood, and I went there and bought the crab legs that I needed! He was so nice and explained to me what I needed to know! I highly recommend this establishment! Great seafood and customer service!

When I am in savannah visiting my in-laws I always buy shrimp and fish at Ken's.The prices are very reasonable and everything ALWAYS fresh.They will always tell you the truth about where their product is from-Georgia/Florida. etc.I would recommend this place to anyone who needs fresh shrimp or other seafood.

Great local seafood, always has or can order me exactly what I want. Cheapest oysters around and I've never bought a bushel that I've even questioned not to be fresh. Just an all around great place to buy fresh seafood.

If I could give zero stars I would. He sold what he advertised as 3 lbs of X-large headless shrimp for $25, and quickly put it in a brown bag and took my money. When I got home I weighed it on my digital scale and it was 2.1 pounds. This is a scale I use regarlarly for baking and it is accurate. I noticed the bag label has x scratched out and just says large shrimp. I promptly went back and took issue with this and he rudely said his scale was right and refused to give me more shrimp and refused to give me a refund. I also asked why the bag says large shrimp when he is advertising extra large and he said some shady excuses like he ran out of bags. Save your money. Don’t go here he is not using accurate scales and is a rude cheat!

Pros: Good prices on what appears to be very fresh fish.Cons: Owner not wearing a mask; no requirement for customers to wear masks, and it’s a VERY intimate space; the exterior is surrounded by rubbish, boxes, old coolers, chairs, etc. Apparently he does enough business without having to keep up appearances, because the small property presents like a junkyard, sadly.

I live in Hinesville.I drive to Richmond Hill to get my seafood. It is so fresh. When I want only shrimp , Mr. Ken comes to Allenhurst every Thursday to sell fresh caught shrimp. Mr. Ken picks up at docks very early Thursday then drives to Allenhurst (corner by post office ) to supply his customers with the fresh caught shrimp!

Easy and convenient. Took shrimp back to NC to eat. We dont have fresh shrimp in the mountains. Ken needs to being fresh shrimp to Asheville.
