I have a very anxious labradoodle who doesn’t like to have his haircut. I just picked him up and although he was difficult, Savannah did an AMAZING job cutting his hair. This is the second time she cut his hair and he looks so handsome and happy! I highly recommend her services! Thank you so much for being patient and loving on my puppy, Savannah! This was my first experience with Petco grooming. Unfortunately my dogs coat had gotten to long and she had some bad spots due to the length of her hair. I thought she might come home looking like a shaved rat. But Morgan did a fantastic, incredible job. Lola looks absolutely beautiful. I was beyond thrilled with the service. We will be back to Morgan for sure.

We will not be back. I was going there for a while, and the one groomer we used, we were able to work out what we wanted done and not done for our pups. Now that she is gone, I tried once again, and what I found was vary unprofessional groomers and unprofessional service. I could go on about the issues we experienced, but today was my limit. I guess they don't mind losing clients because they do so much business. Well, these two pups won't be back that's all I know.

Bring SAMANTHA back!!! She originally was at the Crater Lake location, which is where I took my furbaby until she transferred to the Town Center Prado location. She was the only Petco groomer that I felt remotely comfortable bringing my little 11 lb furbaby to. She treated my dog with respect, kindness, and gentleness. Other than Samantha and Reiko, I have not had the same experiences with the other groomers at the Town Center Prado location. All the other groomers including the store manager are rude and unprofessional. I even had to contact the Corporate office to report the store manager for his bad behavior. The Grooming Staff turnover is EXTREMELY HIGH, which to me is a reflection of the store leadership. SAMANTHA, if you see this message contact me so that I can bring my furbaby to wherever you are located!!!

I meant to write this review a while ago, I took my husky here for a full bath no cut, he has an amazing reputation, people rave about how he sits and is so calm and sweet with baths and how incredible he is. He’s gone to groomers all his life since young. He is not your average husky, doesn’t howl is very obedient. I took him here for the first time and this heavier set lady with brown hair took care of him. Upon pickup I heard a dog howling and screaming thinking there’s no way that’s my dog, as I hear a very loud air dryer running. She comes over and explains how my dog was not well behaved and continue explaining nonsense. Little does she know this is EXTREMELY unusual behavior so I was immediately LIVID deep down inside knowing she was probably rough with him or some horror story that ppl can do to your animals at the groomers.I asked her if that was my dog screaming in the back and to please to go grab my dog. She continues to explain nonsense almost stalling to let him suffer with the loud dryer causing his extremely unusual distress, (never once have I ever heard the sounds I was hearing come out of my dog in 8 years) and I ask once again, please just go get my dog because I cannot sit here and listen to my dog screaming like that (he’s 8 years old). I forgot to bring his leash, and she said she won’t bring out my dog because I need a leash. I then got extremely angry asking her if she was going to keep my dog hostage?! I forgot his leash, and hearing those sounds I’m not going to grab any leash until he’s by MY SIDE. She then finally goes and grabs him, says how he was horrible and told me that I was banned from ever entering there again. I now leave extremely upset and angry. If you look up his name on Petco for groomers you can see how ppl review the dogs they groom and he has GREAT feedback from every single person. As I leave, another lady ran out and stopped me. She was her manager I guess, but she apologized on behalf of her and said I can go back whenever I please. She then mentioned the “good feedback and reviews” she saw apologized for the poor behavior of that girl. Anyway I was so horrified by this experience (a year ago) that my dog has not gone to a groomer since.

The manager April and our groomer Shannon (I hope I got her name right) were so amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. They really made me feel like they cared about my dog's overall grooming needs and my satisfaction. I will make this store my grooming home for him because of their great customer service and how well they took care of my baby. Thanks so much y'all! I almost didn't come back to petco because of my dissatisfaction with another store. I'm so glad I came to April and Shannon. They totally changed my mind.

I have been bringing Jake to this Petco location for grooming for years. They are very thorough about the type/length of cut and I like that several items such as nail trimming, shampoo/blow dry, etc. are included in a package deal. I also like that we can add on services at a reasonable price. The groomers are knowledgeable and cheerful upon arrival and at the time of pickup. I also like that they remind me of when I need to bring in new paperwork (vaccinations) and review phone numbers, etc. at each visit.

Absolutely terrible experience. Brought my dog here for his first groom and dealt with a punks kid with purple hair and gelled Mohawk. He was not friendly at all and didn’t welcome my dog. Instinctively, my dog wasn’t comfortable with this guy and the guy made zero effort to comfort my dog. He ended up calling me 1 minute into the groom saying they needed to abort the grooming. This guy is lazy, uncaring, and ultimately shouldn’t be in this line of work. Beware of dropping your dog off with the purple haired Mohawk guy,

Had an appointment for grooming and before we could even walk in we felt the negative energy from the groomer who was outside smoking a cigarette. My poor Maltese who hasn’t been able to get groomed due to being in quarantine, has hair a bit longer than usual but this lady claimed she was so matted that she couldn’t groom my dog. (Not true) She kept referring to Petsmarts’ new policy (Uuhm ok but this is petco and we’re regulars here) and she was so extreme she mentioned that if we didn’t take her to the vet she could suffer cardiac arrest while being groomed. I didn’t argue with her or try to persuade her to groom my dog because if I would’ve she definitely wouldn’t have been safe in her hands.

Positive experiences so far with grooming services. I switched from Petsmart because Petsmart didn’t allow tips to be added to your credit card which is very inconvenient.
