I recently switched to Montrose after my long-time vet retired. I am not normally a review writer, but I just can't say enough good things about Montrose. Dr. Webster is AMAZING. I had seen her years ago, for an emergency, and I wish I had switched to her back then! You can really tell that she, and the entire staff, love animals. I have two big senior boys who don't typically behave great at the vet, but they are so calm and well-mannered at Montrose and it's because these people really know how to handle dogs! They get down on the floor with them, love on them, and put them at ease. You would think this should be the norm experience at any vet, but unfortunately it's not. My past vet was a very smart man, but his bedside manner wasn't the best. At Montrose the bedside manner is above and beyond anything I've ever seen. Dr. Webster calls me herself to go over bloodwork and test results (my previous vet always had someone else in the office call for him). Facilities are nice and clean and I've never had an issue getting a convenient appointment for my schedule. Can't recommend them enough to anyone who is looking for someone to care for their animals!

I had a wonderful experience at Montrose Animal Hospital yesterday. When I suspected my 14 year old Doberman was experiencing a Urinary Tract Infection, and the vet I had been going to was fully booked, I decided to take her to be seen at Montrose. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming, from checking in at the front desk to leaving after the appointment. The Vet and both Vet Techs who cared for my dog displayed tremendous, genuine compassion and care for her and consideration for my feelings during an appointment to discuss a stressful health issue she may be experiencing. They went above and beyond to examine her thoroughly and shared abdominal images with me so I could see what they were seeing and explained the treatment options to me. I will continue to come to Montrose and would highly recommend them.

We moved here a little over a year ago with our then 12-year-old dog. We didn’t know of any vets in the area and Montrose was right by our house. We always had a good experience and their vets are very nice but my issue with them was always what they charged. They always included so many extra charges and unnecessary drugs, tests, ointments, etc that I rarely got out of there for under $500. When my dog had his teeth cleaning it was $1500 because they added charges for things like post surgery “nursing care”. They always tried to talk me into some expensive antibiotic shot, promising me some mail in rebate instead of just giving him oral medicine. They charged $10 on top of every prescription for a “dispensing fee”. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that they are very lovely people and treat pets well but unless you just like to throw away money I’d look elsewhere.

I have been taking all my dogs to Montrose for 30 years now and have always received excellent care from Kerry Webster and the staff at the clinic. They are all friendly, caring and exceptionally well qualified. My four legged pets are my best friends so I will only take them where I am confident they will receive outstanding care.I would like to amend this review as recently I had a very unprofessional and unsatisfactory experience at Montrose. I took one of my labs in for annual shots. I was not able to be with my dog due to COVID regulations and when they brought her out, the bill was above $2000. They took the liberty of performing other treatments without my knowledge or approval and that were not necessary at this time. There was no communication regarding the added treatments or if they were even required. The new owner can hardly be described as a caring pet business owner. After being one of the first "patients" when Montrose opened, I was sincerely disappointed.

I have been going to Montrose for my animals since Randall Bondurant opened the doors. They have continued to provide the best care to all of my animals (there have been quite a few!). When boarding, they show each animal attention and affection and even give you a report card to tell you how your pet did. (Thank you Bernie!) Their medical treatment of my animals has been both caring and extraordinary in going the extra mile. There are not enough good words to express how I feel about this practice. Having just moved and with another vet clinic in my back yard (literally), I will still drive half an hour each way to go to Montrose.

My pets have been coming to Montrose for about 15 years. The staff's greeting is always friendly and genuine. The Office Manager keeps the front desk and staff running efficiently and the boarders and groomers show focused care and compassion. Most importantly, the vets and support technicians provide top quality vet care. I highly recommend Montrose for all your pet's needs. If you have cats, you are in especially good hands with Bernie, their expert cat caretaker!

Absolutely the best staff, Veterinarians and faculty we have ever used. That includes over 45 years of pet ownership in Fla, Louisiana, South Carolina and Georgia. Kerry is the finest Vet we have ever known, caring, thorough, knowledgeable and thorough. A real pleasure and a relief to know she is there for us when we need her. We moved to Marietta Ga in mid December from California. Our aging Jack Russell Buddy had been diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma under is tail. We opted to wait until we got to GA to have it removed. Our new neighbor referred us to Montrose Animal Hospital. Dr. Mary Matthews removed the mass the day after Christmas. Buddy had some minor incision setbacks during the healing process and both Dr. Webster and Dr. Matthews provided amazing work to get Buddy back and on the road to normal in 2 weeks. The entire staff at Montrose are so compassionate, welcoming, caring, gracious and generous. The provide the most excellence in customer care and service. We are now heading to New Mexico with a very happy and health Buddy...We are so thankful we were referred to Montrose Animal Hospital. They are Number One!!!

I adopted my cat, Storm, from Montrose back in April of this year. We could not be happier with Storm in our family. He is a great cat and a loving, tender little soul.I had to bring Storm in for his yearly check-up and vaccines and have to say the whole Hospital is awesome. From the comfortable waiting area to the warm and fun staff, every single person there brought a touch of greatness to make our time there a rich experience. From the front desk to the Vet assistants to the Vet, every single person who inter-acted with Storm helped make his trip to the vet a very easy experience. Dr Webster answered all my questions about Storm and did not rush. I would never take my Storm anywhere else.I wish I could find a Doctor's office that would treat me as good as Montrose treats my Storm.

Our aging Golden Retriever boarded at Montrose for the first time last week. When we picked him up from Montrose on Saturday he was the calmest and happiest he’s ever been after boarding. He even turned around and snuggled Abbey as she brought him to the car where, previously, he couldn’t get into the car quick enough and sulked for the rest of the day.Thank you very much for taking such good care of Oakley!!!!!

Our 14 year old cavapoo has been going to Montrose for 5 years now… last night and today Ginger has been having diarrhea and vomiting and now blood is in her stool. We have been boarding her there a min 10 times a year and full time patient or Montrose, even a few surgeries. Thought we were part of the Friendly neighborhood Vet Family and when a older dog patient of theirs is having issues like this they would want to see them. Instead I get “we are booked and won’t be able to see her till Friday just give her some bland food and cut back on her water consumption”… that’s it. Clearly it’s all about the business… and not about the caring for our/your family pet! Atleast it was in this case. Disappointing.

Every person we have encountered has been so warm and kind. They listen to your concerns and respond in a very caring way. Dr Webster Is the best! They are caring, smart and dedicated. I have been going to them since Scarlett got very sick and another vet was not treating correctly. I knew Montrose could help her. It's worth the drive across town to see them.Our rescue group uses Montrose and they have handled a host of challenging problems with dogs recovering well.

I have never been to a vet hospital where I and my pet (Maggie) were treated with such love and respect. There is absolutely nothing you could do to improve. You're already the best and I tell everyone I know about you!Special kuddos to my Bernie, who cares for my Persian, Maggie, when I am away. Office is incompetent. Management does a poor job with communication particularly . Poor management. Their record keeping is out dated. Facility is rundown. Lacked in following a few AAHA protocols.I would discourage those looking for a veterinarian office to avoid this place at all cost.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Montrose! All of the vets and technicians have been so accommodating whether from simple yearly checkups to UTIs, hot spots or eye infections. Cats may have "nine lives" but I feel more confident in my pets' quality of life with the wonderful care that Poppy and Cecilia have received at Montrose.

Montrose is a wonderful place. Dr. Webster goes above and beyond EVERY time we need her. The staff always accepts my calls and tries to exceed my needs in that moment. One time my mom had my dog in another county pet sitting while I was at the doctor. My dog got into the trash and had a bone stuck in her throat. We called Montrose on a 3 way call and they helped us triage my dog and waited on the phone while my mother took her into an emergency clinic nowhere close to Montrose. This call went into after hours and they didn't care because they wanted to make sure my dog was okay. I love Dr. Webster and her team and staff!!!
