2/24/24 Update. I love their meat section, and their discounted meats. I like this neighborhood store. It is not the cleanest and it is an older store but the employees are always nice and they have excellent variety. Excellent location, very convenient. Love the personalized and online coupons.

My parents who are in their 80’s come to the store quite often, but never again. They came in the store early this morning and went to a register that had its light on. They proceeded to unload their cart full of groceries onto the conveyor belt again the light was on. Then the only cashier that seems to be on duty came to them and said oh this register is not working come to this other register. He did not offer to help them. My 84-year-old father put all of the groceries back in the cart and carded them to his open register. No apologies no nothing. My father, then proceeded to bag all of his own groceries. How dare you! They will never come back into your store again.Do you even look at the reviews????

I was able to pick up a great Hallmark card today for Mother's day. They had just opened up at 6 am and I found all that I needed in less than ten minutes.

I dislike having to go through self check-out! When are they going to learn? Self checkout DOES NOT WORK!!! Every time that I have to use self check-out it NEVER works and says "Help is on the way"! PLEASE GET RID OF SELF CHECK-OUT! Hire more people to work and check-out customers. There wasn't even anyone that could help at self check-out so that I could pay and leave. Computers can NOT do the work of real humans! Figure that out and hire people!

Friday March 1st 2024. I am in town visiting my mother, who shops at this particular Krogers quite often. I went into Kroger to purchase a few items, I placed two items on the conveyor belt. There was only one register open the cashier name was Davida.Davida was rude not acknowledging me as her next guest on line. The guest in front of me had a large amounts of items already off the conveyor belt ready to be bagged.I simply asked Davida the cashier if self-service have the option for cash back, really quickly.Davida gave me her pointer finger shaking it without a word. I said excuse me? The guest in front was not bothered by me asking a quick question, why would Divida?Perhaps over worked or no real costumer service skill?

Update: Fired this Kroger!CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES! Bought something for my newborn this year 2022, expiration date was 2020.Been using this Kroger for almost a year. I frequently use the pick-up service since it is offered and I am pregnant. Every week I end up feeling robbed because they consistently give me rotten, expired food that cannot be used. Food that can be harmful for the baby and my family! We have returned some, but it would require driving back almost every Sunday to get refunds and we just do not have the time! I even put in the description "please check for freshness" and I am still given rotten food. Seriously considering just firing this Kroger and driving further to a different and hopefully better one. I did not have this problem with my other Kroger before we moved. They also have this practice where they try to hide the blemishes under price stickers. This is completely unacceptable and ironic since Kroger's slogan is literally about freshness. Please do better guys. If you are not going to bring quality, do not offer the service. Here are a small amount of some of the items I get ready to use, only to find them rotten or spoiled.

3rd time at this Kroger that I've had to call even though I checked in at the pickup spot. Order said it was ready at 4, sat here until 4:30-finally got someone to answer and they said my order is not ready despite confirmation saying it is and it will take 10-15mins to go pick it.

Always like Krogers for their wide selection of everyday & upscale food items plus ++. Their clean open style is relaxing for a busy market. Can be pricey at times so look for their ads and get taxable items elsewhere.

I had a great experience at this store . I was finished scanning all my groceries about 2 carts full and it was 5 mins till closing . CHASE was the cashier in charge and I realized my credit card was at home about 7 mins away . I asked him to hold and I would run and get my card and be rt back. Well I fully expected them to be closed and for me to be out of luck . Well chase let me back I. The store to complete the sale . THANK YOU CHASE ! What a nice young man. He was most pleasant as well . You have an outstanding employee . He only had kind words for my mess up. We need more of him on this planet !

I have shopped therefor years. But since the re-arrangement of the store you now don't know where your looking for is anymore. And the 3 new self checkouts!!!!! Doesn't do any good if their not open. 2 registers open and lines down the isles. Your self checkouts had a line past the deli& into the bakery. I put my purchases back to go somewhere else. That is not how a company should run

Love this Kroger. They always have what I need and the employees are very kind. Today, I had my 18 month old with me and he likes to ride in the kid car grocery carts. Well they were all being used when we arrived and one of the baggers, Nikolas, watched for one of them to free, went and got it from the parking lot, brought it to us after we started shopping, and transferred our groceries into it all so my son could ride in the fire truck. Thank you, Nikolas, for going above and beyond to make our shopping experience more enjoyable today!

I've been shopping here for YEARS and it's getting to be terrible! I purchase groceries every two and a weeks. Last night I got my groceries and I went to check out as usual help was not helpful! I got in a line with a cashier that had reddish hair she told me to go to another register and I did and she told me to go to the next ne then that one look like a deer in the headlights so the second one moved me back to her. No one wanted to work! I'm tired of trying to get help they can't even unload a cart! I spend a lot of money on my food. You'd think they would want to do their job! Maybe new employees or at least some that want to work. I will be speaking to the manager if I worked there I wouldn't pull up the slack for those that don't want to work! Just saying

Dear manager of Kroger located at 3595 Canton Rd Marietta , GA 30066, For the past 7-8 years, I stop in your store on the way home from work out of convenience. But - if I ever need an item from the deli, I have no choice but to go to a different Kroger near my home. I can honestly say that for the past few years, there is never any cooked warm food in the deli area like there is at my other stores. I literally mean never. The other Kroger’s have warm food for my lunch. I stopped in today on my lunch to grab some juice and hoping to see some food cooked. Nope - I saw a bunch of empty trays. I stopped in after work on my way home and guess what? Still a bunch of empty aluminum trays. Additionally, if I want fresh sliced deli meat, there is never anyone there to help. Your store is probably in the top 10% for the category “Can use improvement in the deli” I go to the Towne Lake store or Holly Springs one. They have people in the deli. I’m about to stop shopping at your store all together and just make that extra 5 minutes worth the trip. I’m hoping you can use this as an opportunity to improve. Go visit the other stores I mentioned. Towne Lake has an AMAZING deli and produce sections. Thanks. Best of luck. I hope you improve.

I have been going to this store for over 15 years. The store used to be so amazing. Clearly they stopped treating their employees good because they can't keep any. No longer do I ever see a familiar face when going to my Kroger. After explaining my frustrations with the recent issues I've been having from the deli closing every day at 2 pm for almost a year now, to there very often only being I register open in the middle of the day with a long line. Also I have had issues with them being sold out of items often and many times the expiration dates are close or even sometimes past expiration. The price tags are usually old. Meaning you think a lot of items are on sale but they just had an old sale or price tag and infact it costs more when you check your receipts. This happens almost every visit now. I was told they can't keep any help. The store manager then proceeded to tell me that they recently hired 25 people and only two of those stayed on with them. Stating that no one wants to work. The way I see that is nothing short of the lack of employee retention. They applied and started working there so clearly they either weren't treated right and or they were overwhelmed by the amount of work for the amount of pay. Short story: Kroger is clearly not treating their employees good enough to retain them and therefore the customer suffers significantly. I live right in the middle of this Kroger and a Publix and all the times I have gone to Publix over the past 15 years including recently there never seems to be any issues across the board. Looks like it's time to switch to Publix.

Customer service is horrible. Store has been going down hill for years. I've lived in the area for 25 years. If I have big shopping to do, I go to Publix on Bells Ferry. It's a little further distance but what a huge difference in service and quality of the seafood, meats, bakery and lunch meats.

Its a good place to shop but I have an iffy experience today. One item is clearly coded wrong in the system where it was shown as a B1G1F but it's not working. Clerk made it looks like I don't know what I was talking about when it clearly shows in the app the items, pics and all. Had to get it voided and rerung by itself and it showed that the sale wasn't being applied. I guess it was my fault that the items was coded wrong in the system and now, they're aware of it and they don't want to know it b'cuz it's gonna be work now. Like, seriously. 😒🙄😩

Disgusting. I avoid this Kroger like the plague. I shop here only when I have to and nothing has changed over my last 2 years of shopping here. It has only gotten worse. The place is filthy and the shelves are always half stocked. Not to mention all the rotten and expired food. Have some pride and clean your store. Maybe it’s corporate that needs to wake the heck up and give this place a remodel and the love it deserves. Gross.

Some nasty bagger named Dana couldn’t stop complaining about my reusable bags long enough to finish bagging. She is the first bagger I ever encountered to be petty about doing her darn job. I ended up finishing up. She has not customer service skills at all. Store stinks and is poorly laid out.

Flu shot Walk-Ins NOT welcome.Despite posting signs inside and outside the store advertising Walk-Ins welcome for flu shot, the pharmacy declined to offer this service at 3:00 on a weekday. She suggested the best time for a Walk in was 1030 during the week. When I asked what's the best time for folks working during the day to do a Walk-in, she shrugged.

Manager was very helpful. Saw me in aisle and went out of his way to see if I needed anything. Goes a long way when I see managers doing that. However cashier at self check-out had little bit of an attitude. There were 4-5 baskets sitting in empty kiosks from customers. Store was Very quiet. 1-2 people using kiosks of 7-8 available. So I left my basket Inside another one (already left) at the kiosk table. Cashier saw me leave it (as he was standing idle the entire time) and in grouchy way, looked at me, and then bolted right away to get mine as I was walking away (again previously ignoring the 4-5+ other baskets just sitting at mine and various other kiosks). Rude vibe from him. Said nothing to me as I am as leaving.

The Pharmacy is great! The pharmacists are very professional and knowledgeable. Some of the finest pharmacists I've ever dealt with. The tech's are awesome! Katy and a new tech whose name I can't recall are great. The grocery part of the store is good. Some customers leave little to be desired, but thankfully they are a minority.

The store needs a definite overhaul. Refrigerated racks are rusting underneath the meat they hold. Floors look like they were last mopped during the Nixon administration. Regular food shelves are filled with dust and debris from heaven only knows when. Get a cleaning crew in here folks.
