If you need to pick up a few things then it's the perfect place to go, I wouldn't go grocery shopping here because everything is overpriced. Employees are hot and cold, sometimes you're greeted and other times you feel like you're inconveniencing them by just breathing.

A good selection of groceries for it being a smaller grocery store. Clean and well kept. They also offer gas. Employees are really nice and helpful in any way possible.

The staff is so friendly. It's a great place to shop for meats and if you forgot a few items on your grocery list and need a quick store run also if you need gas. The open early and that's a great thing for me since Kroger is a bit farther to get to from me. Overall very convenient place.

I can always depend on going to this family owned store. They have some of the country meats. It has a small town feel. They even have a very good restaurant located in the store that serves amazing breakfast. C and J is a very small location, but it is large enough to have your quick needs.I have been going to the store for many years, And I feel that it is a great safe environment. People normally recognize you and know your name if you come in often.

One of my favs. We visit this store regularly. It's close to home. Great prices on meats. No matter which location u choose hwy 49 in Jones co. Or the Emory highway/Jeffersonville Rd location in Macon the prices are pretty much the same. Everyone is always friendly

Great Meat and decent prices. You can even buy Non ethonal gas for Motorcycles, lawnmowers and ATV'S there. All the workers are friendly as can be. The owners of the location are really friendly and it is American owned and operated. They have 2 locations and both locations sell diesel fuel, non-ethonal fuel as well at the conventional unleaded fuel.

C&Js is pretty much a one stop shop if you need something and you live too far from Macon or Gray to turn around and go back to town. You can get fresh vegetables, fresh cut meat, and about anything you might need in a small place for food. Some of the best fresh link sausage in town too.Also, for a little while until he moves to Macon, you can get the best breakfast you'll ever have at Biscuits Burgers and More owned by my friend, Mike Seekins (Big Dog). Best biscuits you'll ever eat anywhere. Pork chop egg and cheese is one of my favorites. Chicken. Bacon. Egg. Whatever you're taste buds desire from 6 til 10. Even cheese grits (awesome), Shrimp and grits, (five stars), the biggest and best cinnamon rolls anywhere, and more. After that you can stop in for the best hamburgers in Macon also. All of his burgers are named after Allman Brothers band members like the Dicky Betts. French fries or tots on the side also. Don't order the double unless you're really hungry, I speak from experience. Mike is a great guy but dont go in talking bad about Ga Bulldogs. You'll be there awhile! Stop in and eat and you will not be disappointed, breakfast or lunch. Close at 2 but you'd better check that cause the hours have changed I think. Tell Mikey hello from me P.O., and you'll get a discount! (NOT!!!) LOL

I have been going to this store since I was a child and never have a problem, however now there a guy there that says he's a manager and he was an absolute jerk one night when i was there, he wears glasses and is a little heavy set, made me not want to go back..
