I came here on a Friday night with family and it was the seafood buffet night. That’s not what I was interested in…I’ve been hearing about this fried chicken all the way in Fla. My family from Lyons co-signed and said the Fried Chicken is legit.So yes on seafood night I ordered a plate of 1/4 of fried chicken white meat (Breast and full wing) and crinkle fries. The chicken was nice and crispy. It had great flavor and the breading wasn’t salty. The chicken was moist and had consistent flavor throughout. My 2 pc was so good I had eaten 2 more full wings. I prob could’ve eaten another 3-4 pcs of chicken.This review was solely based on my experience of the fried chicken which is the only thing I had. This place is known for their chicken and I to can now co-sign on this amazing chicken.

Me and my grandchildren were going to dine in. But it was so cold in there we couldn't even stay in there. So we just walked right back out. This is not the first time this has happened.Wheelchair accessibility: They have very poor access for wheel chairs. And hard for handicap to get in restrooms. Because I'm handicapped and I have to use a walker. If you ask them to turn the air down they refuse

Chatters is a good place to eat, however, their bathroom is pitiful! I don’t believe it has seen Mr. Clean in quite sometime. The walls and floors need serious cleaning! Please think about the reputation of your restaurant and go the extra mile to make it the best it can be, not just mediocre!Parking: Always able to find adequate parking!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff who go out of their way to please!

Old Buffet Style Restaurant that has seen better days. The food remaind good home style cooking, however the prices are now way too high. For example: My partner and I are both seniors. We ordered the buffet which is self serve. We each had 1 piece of chicken and 2 vegetables; collards and green beans (not fresh/canned), a roll and a box made dessert. He had tea. I had water. The total price was $26 and change. That's way too much money for what we got and self serve in old dirty settings with black mold around the A/C vents and hideous green decor! We aren't blind to the surroundings because we haven't been eating, meeting and greeting there for decades. Sorry, not sorry, but we won't be back. Can't afford it on a fixed income when it's not worth the price! I guess if you "pig out" it's worth it.Parking: Strip mall parking with very limited spaces for the disabled.

Two buffets with drinks cost almost $60!The food was basic, I mean nothing to brag about! It was like maybe 10 items on the buffet. The women’s bathroom was worst than the buffet. It wasn’t busy for a Saturday night. That should of been the first clue for us. We will not give this business another chance. They added gratuity if you have a party of 8 or more. That wasn’t the deal breaker for us. The waitress did a fabulous job and deserved every penny plus we tipped more. They didn’t have many choices, what they did have wasn’t any good. Many places that are locally owned and operated are good but this place fell short of everything. The floor is slippery for unknown reasons. I will not recommend this place to my enemy.

Can you say flies on the food, awful 😖 I started fixing my plate until I saw the flies in the buffet. I then told the lady I didn't want it she said well I have to throw that away, I said that's fine I will pay she said you want it I said no I don't want it. Just awful, I didn't have to pay. I could have fought it due to the flies but why. Obviously they need the money.

We went here thinking this was a seafood place. 🤔 We got there and seen a buffet, figured why not were here. Oh man! If your in the mood for Thanksgiving dinner this is the spot. Delicious tender dark n white meat turkey, stuffing, gravy, green beans and that's just too name a few items. They have dessert & keep pouring that sweet tea!!! We'll be back

Firstly, the southern buffet food was absolutely delicious. Secondly, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Thirdly, staff and customers were all smiling and chatting like they all knew each other and they probably did. Love this place!!

Went in for dinner, should have walked back out. No chicken to start with. But ok we decided on the seafood platter. Should have walked back out still. Ordered it, got a very small salad. The salad was maybe the best part. The seafood platter consists of: 1 catfish w/tail and bones, 1 stuffed crab, a handful of shrimp (small), fried oysters and a handful of fries. Oh, 2 hush puppies.Fish...cold and very crunchy. The crab...NO and cold. Shrimp....eh cold. Fries...cold. Oysters...cold. Threw out hush puppies. We live 2 minutes from there. Food should have been hot still. SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT. And now, boyfriend is on the 'Throne' as he has been for 25 min. SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT

Never again! Went in two times and food is very disappointing. Went on seafood night and I'd say paying $25 a person for the same thing I could get at Captain Ds for $9 should have told me not to try it again.. but decided to go back for lunch and I was better off at Popeyes... only options were fried chicken or boiled pork chops(blah) and rice, beans squash & greens... for $13... yeah, I'll stay in Vidalia for dining out

Lady at the register was very nice as was our waitress. Went to eat here on Tuesday evening 2/25/20 at 7 pm, coming from out of town looking for some good food. Appearance of the place was average, nothing fancy as was the buffet. Just a few items which was surprising considering the reviews. Fried chicken, pork chop pieces/bits...and I do mean pieces, rice, gravy, green beans, greens WITH STEMS???, lima beans, not so good looking mac and cheese, corn bread/rolls, small salad bar and small pieces of cake with drink. That's it, not too much to brag about. They were low on dark meat fried chicken and pork chop pieces when we arrived, a lot of other people stopped in and checked the food bar but ended up leaving due to lack of food. They lost a lot of business because of it. Although there was definitely a lack of fresh food, we were able to be satisfied with at least their fried chicken, I had to ask and wait 15 minites for some to be cooked. I doubt if I'd ever return if in town again due to the small amount of food items on their food bar...but their fried chicken was awesome! We ended up ordering a to go shrimp dinner and that was fine. Overall...not too bad but buffet needs some help.

This place is horrible. Buffet looked at best mediocre. I ordered off of the menu. Food tasted bad and the price of the buffet was too much. First time going and last time visiting the restaurant. Don't take my word for it. Try it yourself

Awesome! Their post-COVID set-up is very clean and safe. Servers dip up your plate at the buffet and fruit/salads are single-serve. I felt very comfortable. And of the course the food is still as delicious as ever! Their fried shrimp is to die for.

Loved it! Husband got buffet and I got bacon cheese burger. Best hamburger I've had in a very long time! Service was great, everyone so friendly and sweet. Looking forward to going back

Well the shrimp were fabulous the oysters were good to great the hush puppies were good but could have been better with more onions and not as dry but I was disappointed because it was no frog legs and no crab cakes there never was the whole time we were there and we were there before they open you know for the buffet the catfish was paper thin and cooked way too hard so then I grabbed a whole piece of catfish and it wasn't cooked done so that part was disappointing but the shrimp were dead on the money it's a 50 minute drive from me I enjoyed it but wish they'd had the crab cakes and frog legs I would have enjoyed it a thousand percent betterFeatures: Saw one person in there with a mask on and I don't never go anywhere without mine and I forgot to take it in

Was in town for the day for work and came here on the recommendation of a local. If there has been a rash of 90 year old grandmother's disappearing in Lyons, GA I have solved the mystery!! They are locked away in the kitchen of Chatters! This food tasted like it came from a southern baptist church picnic!! The fried chicken was phenomenal, the veggies and fat back rivaled the best I've had at any southern family reunion! Don't even get me started on the banana pudding! It was made with some sort of southern sorcery that caused every 'nilla wafer in the pudding to remain crunchy! 🤯 Mind blown! If you're in Lyons, GA this place is a must!

It's a buffet of Southern comfort food. I do attend a weekly church Southern Comfort dinner at home in the San Francisco Bay Area. That is basically not my preference of food. I had some experiential fun attending a Southern Comfort dinner environment was literally in The South and with some friends who are quite a bit more fun to dine with. The together dinner in The South is where my given stars come from, but it's only 3 because the food was subpar.

Really disappointed in this business. I know there's a pandemic and this results in a shortage of employees. But there has been times when the buffet goes empty. No bacon for the cheeseburgers. Did anyone order the bacon. As well as running out of pork chops for the buffet. I just hope things improve. Only has two employees who make the business run. The owner needs to hire more employees to get the job done

Everyone has given such great reviews about this place, so I decided to go on a Friday evening for their seafood buffet with oysters. We called ahead make sure we would have plenty of time. We arrived around 7:30pm after being told on the phone the buffet ends a 8:45pm. .First we were a bit concerned with the lack of vehicles in the parking lot. Upon walking in and looking at the fish,shrimp, and oyster pans they were as empty as their parking lot. Needless to say we left. But I'm not giving up on this place just yet. Next time we will be there at the begining of the buffet. This has to be a timing.
