My husband and I were house/dog sitting for friends and we were both a little under the weather so I didn't want to have to drive to Cornelia or Gainesville for dinner. I stopped in at Lula Grocery to see if they had ground beef for a quick dinner fix. I was surprised that this little gem also had fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions & potatoes. They also had a little grill in the back that made fresh take out, chicken and Hunt's Brothers Pizza. I couldn't pass it up so I got a pizza to go as well. The workers were all very friendly and helpful. I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend it. The pizza was hot and tasty. Thank you!

decent food, terrible customer service. my mom called to order lunch and halfway through telling them the order the lady behind the food counter just hung up on her. not to mention that this is the second time this has happened.

I absolutely love this store. They have everything you'll need, when you just need something fast and don't want to go to the grocery store. Also, their pizza is the best in town.

Mu wife and I were house/dog sitting and didn't really know where to get some good breakfast. The little restaurant in town only serves lunch and dinner so I took a chance and came here. This place is hopping on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The service was good for the amount of people they had vs customers. The food was really good and tell prices are very reasonable.

Whatever you need I swear it these people have it! From pickles to fix a flat to barbecue sauce, pizza, fresh fruit, vapes, whatever!!! Never have to look elsewhere! Very handy store to have in your neighborhood and they are always very nice and the store is clean!

Really good food without having to go into town. Grab smthn already fix and get what you forgot for fixing dinner at home. Restaurant staff super friendly, the cashiers could work on that a lil bit more.

Good little rest stop after riding all day. Got a little snack bar and 4 tables to relax and eat. Fried chicken was fresh and potato wedges. Not a high volume store so no long lines to wait on.

Friendly quaint hometown grocery store. It is a little pricey but very convenient!! This is a place where friends and neighbors alike run into eachother and grab a cup of coffee or even meet for a meal at their restaurant to break bread! Very tasty foods choose from breakfast, lunch, supper or a snack😊

The guy behind the counter was rude. Acted like it was a hassle to ring up my items. All I had was a $100 bill. When i apologized for only having a large bill, he said he couldn't make change. When I told him again that I was sorry about only having a $100 bill that I'd go somewhere else. He miraculously had a drawer full of $20's and was eager to make change.

The owner is very rude and and disrespectful!!!!! She treats her employees so bad they are older people and she yells at them and make them feel so bad. Please shop somewhere else do not spend your hard working money here with this lady. If I could give zero star I would she needs to be investigated!!!!

2nd time here. The people are polite and sweet. Awsome Catfish dinner. Not pleased with cole slaw, but LOVED the Catfish.Apparently, the pizza must be great because alot of orders went out while I was there.

They usually have the items I might need that I have forgotten at the grocery store I usually use they also have a really good selection on wine coolers and a great place for snacks have a little diet in it which is pretty good

The owners are practically thieves. If you can make it to any other store, I mean any other store it will save you 50%. They mark everything up at least 50% and on top of it they don't give you your correct change back.

Dirty, outdated, ugly environment. Looks like a nasty gas station.If they cleaned up their parking lot and did a small renovation to update the looks of it outside it could be ok. But it looks like a place where you may be mugged or step on. Needle

It is the only downtown grocery-stop besides the Dollar General located 3 miles away at the corner of Hwy 52 and Hwy 365. It offers basic household items in all categories, from laundry to dishes to cleaning supplies. It offer some fruits, not always pristine. Usually, bananas and apples. It sells basic fresh produce such as lettuce, tomato, and onions. They sell carry-out large/one-size Hunt's Brothers pizza starting at 9.99 with an all-you-can-add topping slogan, which is really good for a quick dinner. You can call and order first. Still small town...very trustworthy. You just call and they make it, without the long questionaire. Awesome! They sell frozen items, ice cream, and coffee too. It is a local shop with friendly folks. It works well for the Lula area, and they stay opened until 10pm, but pizza cut-off time to order is 9pm. The major downfall is the pricing. The store is a little expensive, but that falls into the need-easy access relationship and the downtown walking area monopoly of the same category services. Still good for last minute shop for its convenience. It is in fact convenient. 😉

Love the biscuits in the morning!! The checkout always gives the kids a lollipop. Check the expiration dates though!! And, expect convenience store prices.

Non appreciate staff, rude. Food is frozen AND unstanitary, food on the shelves are ok but VERY expensive. Nothing good here at all. Go some where else if you can. Waffle house is one mile away.

I wouldn't eat there again. There are roaches scurrying around everywhere, The wings i bought were undercooked, and i went in there the other day to buy a pack of cigarettes and watched as the indian woman working at the deli picked her nose when she thought no one was looking and then proceed to make pizzas. I called the health department.
