This place upon looks is just as sad as any other shelter poor babies! But without this shelter I wouldn’t have found our perfect baby! And she fits in perfectly yesterday we picked up our new family member and she’s settling in perfectly thank you!

Got this dog there for my elder friend.. Probably the only thing good I can say about the place. Excellent prices on animals. Not a lot of paperwork. It wasn't fixed or any shots. Now it's living in the lap of luxury. Rides scooters and golf carts . Has 3 ponds to swim in. On 5 acres. With an elder owner who has devoted his whole being to this animal. It sleeps in a king size bed. And has a variety of over 6 dog treats to choose from as a snack. It gets to go Walmart and town . Has A plethora of toys.

My kids and I went to volunteer one day. We do plan on going back.This facility is beautiful. The people who were on duty were amazing. You can definitely tell they have a huge heart for the animals!!!Like most people, we see all the bad comments and hear how much they don't do here. When this is not the case at all!! This facility needs more help from the community. Financially and physically.We sit back and complain, and that's the easy part.Complain about the owners, the workers, and whatever else but don't want to lift one finger to help other than post and complain.People have ideas about how they should do it but offer no help.:( Reposting gets some info out, but we need to do more!The facility was very clean, and the workers knew every one of her animals.This has to be one of the tougher jobs physically and emotionally.Long county animal control, we appreciate all you do!! Thank you!!!!

Literally refused to do their job and help me with the stray puppies I found. Went twice this week. Either “too full” or “quarantined “ so I probably wouldn’t look at getting anything from them either

If you're considering rescuing or recovering any animals specifically dogs from this place be sure to have them vetted for parvo. I recently recovered my dogs from here after a seven day stay, and all of them contracted parvo resulting in one of them dying while in the care of our normal vet.

Got a good puppy from here but he almost died of parvo but doctor was able to save him Dr Wiessinger was awesome .What a good dog smart as a whip

Had a loose dog going after other dogs so I called and never got a reply. Had to call the cops like they don't have enough to do.
