I will never take my puppy there again. This location overcharged, claiming my puppy was matted, which was not true, I fluff my puppy twice a week. Now, this is not my normal location, but my location was booked up. Now I see why. After the appointment, my puppy came back very sad and didn't want to play, and this was not my puppy. We will never go back to that location. This appointment cost me $30.00 more than my normal location, which would be fine if my puppy grooming appointment was great and she looked great. I am sorry to say that was not the case. My normal location was booked up, but I will just wait the 2 weeks to get an appointment. Next time!

My Baby ACE š¾ went to PetCo Grooming Salon and I was extremely satisfied. The representative that assisted was very nice, sweet, patient, & understanding. It was a last minute booking; so the fact that they squeezed us an appt was remarkable! I was highly impressed. He looks soo stinkin cute! ACE said Iām FREE nooowww. lol Thank You So Much PetCo & Lithonia Grooming Salon for taking care of my Spoiled lil Fur Baby.

We generally come here for our basic fish or reptile needs. They typically have what we need at a competitive price. I believe they generally get their new fish shipments on Tuesday, but that hasn't always been consistent.

The grooming department staff by the name of Taylor was very unprofessional! We had an appointment scheduled at 9:00am. We were the first to arrive and several others waited patiently behind us. We were given a 3-4 hours ready for pickup timeframe. I returned an hour later to look for a product in the store and noticed that there were two dogs that were in line behind us on the tables being groomed. I stopped in to inquire about the grooming process and order. We are caring for a rescue dog and these processes are new to us. We were addressed in an unprofessional manner as if we were being impatient and still didnāt receive clarification. To make a long story short we wonāt patronize this location again. The grooming manager did apologize for our first time experience at the time of pickup however no one should have to have such experience in a place of business.

This is my local neighborhood pet store which I frequent regularly and usually everyone is very nice and I have no issues. However today I encountered a manager āDanny (ie?)ā who was incredibly rude. Her attitude was so off putting I walked out of the store without my purchase due to the unwelcoming and unnecessarily unpleasant experience. I recommend other locations or pet stores for your needs until they have dealt with this difficult and frankly disgusting employee.

The grooming department is very unprofessional! I have been getting my dogās hair cut here for a couple of years. We had an appt scheduled and arrived 5 minutes late. We stood there waiting to be checked in for 5 minutes. They told us we would be charged a $15 late fee, which I was fine with but wanted to see the written policy. They were unable to share this written policy and proceeded to get an attitude with us. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism.

I had to return a purchase that I made online and the associate made it very easy. I completed my return and she recommended some other items that I might try to help with my blind dog. She also checked in on me as I was shopping to see if I needed any other assistance.

This was the WORST grooming experience I have ever had. He went in for a bath, nail trim, and dematting. Nothing was done except the bath and blow dry. I was still expected to pay the regular amount. Groomer called my dog ācrazyā and proceeded to tell me that he did horrible. I have never gotten bad feedback about my dogās grooming process. I even set expectations prior to me dropping him off that he is in puppy stages so he will be hyper, but not aggressive. Nobody in there seemed to know how to handle a larger dog. The bath given was mediocre. He still smelled after leaving his appointment, everything that was supposed to be included didnāt seem to be. I will NEVER trust this store with my pet. The customer service was good beforehand! I appreciate the effort in trying with him but I wouldāve preferred if they turned him away.

Beyond disappointing! My puppy was scheduled for a 4:15pm appointment. I was called and requested to come in at 2pm due to them closing at 5pm and didnāt want to be rushed. I advised LiNiya I was at work and could I come at 3pm. It was basically a 2 pm or nothing. So I left work 3 hours early to accommodate LiNiya and not lose my appointment. I arrived at the appointment at 2pm sharp LiNiya greeted me with a yawn and who am I here for. I advised her who I was she collected some information and had a quick interaction with my puppy. Out of no where she goes he is nipping at me, I was so confused because I was standing right there and didnāt see what she was talking about. She asked me to step on the other side of the door and touch him again and then snatched her hand away again but he didnāt do anything for her to do that. So then she goes if he keeps nipping at me you will have to come get him. Then proceeded to tell me it will be a few hours. I was in my car about 20 minutes and she called and said I had to come pick him up. Iām so disappointed and annoyed. I felt as if she was preparing to do exactly what she did. I have never had a complaint of him nipping before. He was at the Vetco in Snellville the day before with no issue at all. Literally just made me miss work and blew my entire afternoon for absolutely nothing. I would NEVER come back to this location again!!!

The previous review was for Publix. Lol. This is a nice place, could be cleaner, good selection of fish and aquarium. One of the cashiers reeked of Marijuana though. To each their own but explaining the smell to a child, not fun. So Petco sells skunks, just not out for display! Other than that, pleasant experience. They have great sales.

Friendly service. However, the selections at this store are blah. The fish area was unorganized. Most of the tanks were dirty and in need of serious cleaning. We were actually there to put a few fish on their Wish List. That didn't happen and I probably will just frequent a new "home store.

Very little variety. It is also stupid that you charge for bags when your competitors donāt. I shouldnāt have to bring bags to a store where there are bags and the cashier is supposed to bag the items. For all that, I will just continue to shop at PetSmart. They donāt charge for bags, have adequate staffing so that the registers arenāt empty with long lines, AND they have more variety in their items.

Excellent Petco pet supply store. Awesome manager here, she was very friendly, informative and helpful. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. All the staff here are friendly, courteous and very professional. They will stop what theyāre doing to help you find what you need so you can get on your way. There are bargains to be had on the merchandise with the āoppsā label. The store is located in a very large shopping area. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the store.

I consider this my home pet store. Their selection is somewhat limited and like most other places There are a lot of empty spaces on the shelves where merchandise should be. There is a good selection of aquatic plants and fish and fish to choose from. My suggestion is to quarantine any fish purchased as I believe I've introduced it into my planted tank. All the fish in this tank have come from this store. Not there fault I rushed the process. All in all are pretty good fish store but once the supply chain issues have been corrected it will be even better.

The store has a lot of expired products out on the floor. They need someone to check expiration dates on every product, especially pet food and supplements. Also they need to train their employees better when it comes to animal care and product knowledge . I had an employee tell my mom that hay doesnāt expire , which could put other people pets at risk because of his lackOf knowledge . They had old FIELD + FOREST HAY stored in bad condition under a shelf . There was dust all over the shelf and boxes the hay was stored in . Not to mention they had it on sale because the employee told me nobody wasnāt buying it , so they lower the price as an incentive. Iām so glad I was wised enough about hay . If i wasn't I wouldāve given that to my bunny and wasted my money on hay that wasnāt even fresh . This is unacceptable and I will not be coming back .

I honestly would never take my Shih Tzu to another Petco. I've tried different stores in different states and they are the worst when it comes to grooming/ cutting pets hair. I thought this time would be different but they just proved to me that they need an inservice on how to cut pets hair. Also, the manager Easter, was very rude cutting me off when I'm speaking. Your job, as I've also been thought in customer service is to listen to the customers' concerns then try to effectively resolved the issue. This was the worst experience for me and my pet and will never use this or any of it's stores for my fur baby services.Yes, i understand I'm only one customer but one very disappointed customer who loves posting my reviews good or bad. As you can see in my photos they butchered my pet's hair cut especially his tail which i asked specifically only to cut/trim the tip of his tail. The other photo shows what my fur baby tail is suppose to look like along with excellent grooming. That photo was from being groomed at a pet sitter on Rover Amber in Pembroke Pines Fl, thank you for also taking outstanding care of my pet everything time. This incident only made me love taking my pet to Petsmart more.

Back in December 2023 my husband were sold 2 sick fish from this store and they ultimately killed 24 of the fish we already had. I contacted Petco Corporate and to this day we have not heard anything back from them. I am disgusted and ultimately disappointed. They have not heard the last of me.

The dog grooming department left an angry voicemail on my phone and gave my dog an uneven haircut. then, I called customer service, and they never returned my call. after they gave me a 24hr to 48hr wait limit its been 3 days they never called.

Horrible experience!! Took my little Yorkie for a bath and cutā¦ When I came back and picked up my dog, they had shaved all his hair off and couldnāt tell if he had a bath or not. Heck I could have done that myself!! Then scheduled another appointment in (2) months! No sir No maāam!!

Grooming at this location is HORRIBLE. The staff is barely friendly and welcoming and the groomer didnāt apply any of my requests for my puppyās cut. His ears are uneven, his fur on his body and legs is uneven. Not to mention my appt was 11am. I came at 2:40pm to check in and they had him locked up that whole time. They hadnāt even started yet. Iāll never give them my business again.ALSO - my pups eyes are red and watering - he keeps rubbing them like they are irritated. And his tail isnāt groomed at ALL. Iām not interested in your store āmaking this rightā as I donāt trust my pet in your hands.

Horrible grooming experience canceled same day saying the groomer was leaving early. No regard for plans no option to reschedule same day. Would not recommend or ever book at this location as they will cancel your appointment 1-3 hours before arriving for grooming with no regard for your time or plans with pet.

I placed an online order to pick up a seresto dog collar. Got home and the inner wrapping containing the collar was already opened and the collar had already been unrolled. IM 100% SURE THIS HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY OPENED/USED AND RETURNED. Now I'm about to travel for the holidays and have to find a Petco on my Journey to exchange this (used one) for another. I will openening the new container before exiting the store. IM BEYOND UPSETš” .
