I was in this store on2/2/24 around 10 a.m. only one employee in the store and on her phone. This place is filthy. Empty shelves, and aisles blocked with merchandise on trailers ready to be unloaded . In fact you could not even walk down the aisles. This store is in total disarray.

Lindale: Staff is slow as molasses aside from Sam and Lauren. line was long. Another new cashier, Tara? I think is her name older lady with blond hair. Needed assistance with a customer but male key turn was nowhere to be seen maybe in the bathroom? There needs to be some sort of communication for employees such as walkie talkies or an intercom system (phones do not pick up) to drastically decrease wait time. store is ok could be better. Everyone always tells me they need me back over there lol. I loved the job but not the higher staff. Maybe in the future! Unless, I was put in the system as a no rehire after I resigned in January due to conflicts with the manager and assistant. Idk. Until then I'll only shop there when I have to. Otherwise I go to the one going to cave springs bigger store and more friendly morning staff or I pay a little more for products and shop at Family Dollar. I give ONE star bc of the rudeness of the higher staff and for the organization of product and cleanliness of store. Also for bad communication, long lines, and prices need to be updated throughout. As for employment.. the stress and confusion, lack of communication, lack of team work, bad attitudes and, lack of hours with minimal pay and no room for growth in the company that I endured as a key turn. I'd give zero stars if it was possible. Only DG I know with TWO assistant managers and the one Tawnya don't even know how to function and do the requirements as an assistant ie unlock safe, count down, or even how much an employee till starts out ECT basic stuff right.. Or maybe she pretended to not know, I had to do it for her basically if we worked together and it was on her to close the day she would just stand there on her phone or propped up just watching me and customers. Just very disappointed in the TEAM efforts. You are not part of a TEAM unless you're liked by the higher staff any discrepancy with them and you feel like you've been singled out and rules and regulations that seem to not apply to others start appearing to you and other staff never had a clue as to why, your hours get cut, and your work load becomes basically impossible compared to others. They will not fire you though, they just simply take people off the schedule and randomly put them back on so they will unknowingly resign for their position. Lauren is a great worker and Sam is the best as far as personality in my opinion. The rest is just disappointing to conduct business in such a manner that's why they can't keep employees. I may not get along with Lauren very well but I really see how had her and Sam work for such a ruthless work environment they are both very dedicated and friendly to staff and customers and they both work as hard as two employees out together as one. You would think the DM would see the turnover rate for employees and fix the issue for such a small store you shouldn't have new staff so often and if you want to blame the lack of adequate workers applying you can try, but after so long and so many at some point you have to consider someone is pushing out the good workers and hiring the unqualified. Make it make sense to me. I'd love to go back for the JOB. However, due to my personal experience, my work ethic, and my self worth I can not work in a unstable environment and treated as as stated above. Best of luck to everyone though.In order to obtain and keep a regular and extensive customer rapport you must maintain a friendly and respectful environment and have excellent customer service values and morals same goes if you want to keep employees and that absolutely coincides.

Visit was on 11.30.20 around 930-1030am Great cashier acknowledged my entrance of the store. Lots of good deals. Certain shelves /aisle seemed very run through and disheveled but still spent $24 instead of the under $5 that I anticipated so good for them. Cashier made asked if I found everything I needed and made sure I had all my bags. All in all, a great visit to this store.

Everyone was extremely welcoming and ready to help! They didn't have everything I was looking for so they called their other store, found it, and going to have it brought in for me. How amazing is that?! I will for sure be back in the future! It's the little things that matter. This place has a great team! Keep up the awesome work!!!

It was 30 minutes til close. I couldn't get 2 things I needed because the aisles we're completely blocked. 1 had outdoor items swimming pools and pool accessories. The other aisle was stock waiting to be put up. The store was a mess merchandise strown everywhere. Manager rushing everyone from the time they came through the door. This was my 2nd visit to this store. The first one was good, nice employee's clean organized store. It was also about 30 minutes before closing. So this tell's me it's the difference in manager's!!!

Staff is friendly and ready to help...parking lot is handicap accessible... And they carry a good selection.. From food to clothes.. To make up.. To Auto and laundry needs. Just wish the merchandise was more organized.

Of all the employees, there may be 2 nice ones. Everyone else is rude. If you're looking to buy clothes, shoes, curtains or kitchen accessories or even shampoo.. good luck. You can't get down almost any aisle to save your life. Boxes and metal carts stacked to the ceiling down every aisle.

On March 5,2021 9:30 PM My family and I went to East Rome Taco Bell. I waited 13 minutes just to get our order taken. Then when we pulled to the window the girl there hands us our drinks and takes our money she said it would be a few minutes on our food so I ask could I get two straws she said it will be with your food, I then told her I wanted to drink my drink then, so she slams the window on me. Needless to say I was in shock and I was watching her make a tea and so on. When she returned I ask for a manager and she refused to get a manager for me and she slams the window again, so we just left, only to get around the corner out of the way to check the food and the babies fries wasn't there and guess what else wasn't there yeah the straws weren't in the bag with the food. I was about to snap on this girl so my husband told me to stay in the car he would get the fries and straws. He gets back to the car and realized she still did not give us the straws. Then we left and marked it a lost cause.

The best dollar g in Rome! Isn't overcrowded like most of them seem to be (most you can hardly walk down aisles) this one there's room for two buggies on most aisles, and they gave us extra room without having to cut back on the amount of merchandise! What really makes this store shine though is the staff. They go above and beyond for anything you ask for. a wonderful bunch of people and a useful little store!

Went to two stores in my area,neither of the coupon downloads worked and they had several of my items on the receipt more than once... Won't be back to any dollar store mostly because customer service is bad and the coupons never work. Dollar General systems in this town always something wrong even in Lyerly Ga.

While DG are notoriously cluttered and unorganized, this store said "hold my beer"; carts full of inventory blocking aisles, boxes on the floor, two out of three registers permanently blocked by misc. items on the counter. And if you do manage to locate what you're looking for, paying for it is even more frustrating. Chances are that only one cashier is open and ten people are waiting in line. On the other hand, if there isn't a line, you'll be waiting several minutes for an employee to realize they have a customer. No sense of urgency, no apologies for the wait and inconvenience, and a lack customer service skills are evident. The first time this happened, I assumed maybe it was a bad night. By the tenth time, I realized this is the modus operandi here.

Worst dollar general of my life !!! The employees think they are spy detectives , following you all over the store , but u can take what ever you wanted and the kicker is u could do it right in their face , while u r literally talking to. them . Terrible customer service , not helpful in any way , and both act like they r doing u a favor by being there to ring u up ( their freaking job ) or follow u all over. Tonight went for some unmentionables for my girl and every box she picked up was cut and open and the man was put out cause she asked if there was a discount and really got peeved when she asked for so.e tape . So all in all stay out of the dollar general here in Lindale Ga

The workers here are not very well trained. Every question we had our answer was i dont know from both workers in the store. They wasnt helpful at all. They had no clue about any of the sales & also didnt know where the products we asked about was located in the store. Some isles you couldnt even get down because they had so much stuff thrown in the floor. I will not go to this dollar general anymore.

I wish it was a little more organized! The one in Lindale is always such a mess you practically trip over boxes to get down the isle. The staff is incredibly rude! Try to avoid this DG at all cost. I would rather drive 10 min down the road to the one at 6 mile.

The employees are always ready to help,if you happen to need them , and the prices aren't too bad . Have not had a bad experience yet ! Four stars because they sometimes run short of help, and the line can run long ... sometimes.

I go to numerous Dollar generals due to couponing but this is the one that I always come to when they have the sales I can find stuff that none of the other stores have here love lindale.. my only complaint is I wish they would Mark things that were on the clearance the L'Oreal and the whole plans the Dove and all that was not marked thank goodness I knew they were on sale

I love this store since it has opened and people with negative reviews usually in most cases did not get their way. Notice I said most not the 1% that had legit complaints, good help is hard to come by.

I like Dollar general but they are always so busy putting stuff away and it's always cluttered. The poor employees don't seem to have time to do much there but are always slammed. I would not like to work there.

Door was locked at 9:49 pm, but the door says they close at 10pm? Not sure why? I asked if they carried little boys underwear and the cashier pointed and said should be over there somewhere idk. The store was very junky and seemed dirty.

Selection of product is decent. Staff is SOMETIMES friendly. Other times, they act like it's a chore to do their job and ring me up.

A lot better then the one on Dean st. But they are all always a mess. Stock always blocking isle where you can't shop.
