I hate that we get asked how big of a tank we have and get limitations to how many fish we can get because of the tank size. As if petsmart doesn’t over crowd their tanks and have dead fish floating around and leave bettas out to die in little jars and throw fish out in the trash when they’re still alive.

Generally I have a great experience at this location, today I purchased crickets for my geckos, a rat for my snake in case they also wonder why I need them and a beta fish. I was grilled by multiple staff members about my tank size....I have sufficient space for the few fish I have plus the ones I wanted to add yet these people act like there is no videos of them dumping betas in dumpsters in their "temporary" homes like the cashier explained and want to lecture me on "fish well being." I have goldfish that are over 6 yrs old and purchased some other almost dead ones from PetSmart which are thriving now and would appreciate being treated better for the amount of money I spend here. I will be going elsewhere from now on, staff every now and then want to give me their advice about my dogs or cat which I appreciate and take into consideration as far as what brands of food we use but today was nonsense, making a scene in front of other customers like I'm buying these only to let them die.

Cindy is by far the most rude and unprofessional retail associate I have ever encountered in my life. She thinks she knows how to resolve conflict by being annonyingly condescending. Very smart-mouthed and immature. If she is a person in a leadership position, I implore the higher ups to take a good, hard look at the caliber of associates they allow to serve in that capacity. Cindy, you really need help...maybe take a class on how to provide great customer service and how to refrain from shouting obscenities when in a business environment.

I've been afraid that our local Lilburn PetSmart might close bc of the few cars I see there. However, I went in yesterday for food and litter for our cat children and it was FULLY stocked, sparkling clean and the young man at the check-out was very nice. It's so convenient.I just wish our local businesses were patronized so they can stay in business. If they aren't clean, tell someone. If they don't carry something you need, tell someone. If the register employees are rude, tell someone. We can't expect to get what we need near our homes unless we ask for it. We love where we live but it's very sad to see so many businesses closing. Support your local shopping!!!

This store is a hit or miss based on supervisor on duty. I need people who are knowledgeable of fish. I purchase from this store all the time and decided to buy my neice a betta fish. I know what it takes to have one and so does her mom and dad. I told the lady up front that I’m sure her mom and dad will get her what she needs they have had this short of fish before and if not I have and extra tank ar my house they refuse to sale the $4 fish and argued with me. I felt discriminated against because I was black and it’s two little children just there. To hurry and get them back to the car . When I’m alone buying and spending my money in this store the manager never has an issue because he knows I’ve purchased extra tanks just to br on the safe side in the past. The supervisor even snatched the fish out of the kids hands. It’s not that I’mNot wanted the supervisor on duty has the issue.

The grooming team did a wonderful job with our senior Pug! He was there for a nail trim. Kimmie and her colleague were so sweet with him, giving him extras like a back massage and nose cream (great for Pugs). :)

I brought my dog in for an appointment. He was a little hyper, but not too much for them to handle. He jumped up and slightly bumped the groomer on the chin and she immediately declined to groom my dog. The groomer typed him into the system and we left. When I called the company to reschedule, they told me that he was banned and read the report. The groomer had exaggerated, saying that he knocked her over. Will not go there again and do not recommend.

I don’t understand the harassment about fish when they have fish in cups with no heater and tons of them in tanks together mixed with fish that aren’t combinations. Tired of being argued out the store. When there are no customers they store will be closed down which means no job 😊 corporate get involved soon. I’ll go to petco

Do not buy anything fish related from here, most fish they sell have diseases, and the products for fish such as water heaters stop working in less than a week. They do not give refunds!!!

The second Petsmart I visited in the last month and the customer service was terrible. I went to this location when they opened this morning two employees kept walking past the locked door well after 9 am. I stood outside for 5 minutes before they opened the doors for me. I won’t be returning to the location.

I love this store it's the BEST Pet Smart store I ever shopped at. I've been to the one on Scenic HWY and they are trash compared to the one on Stone mountain HWY they don't speak or talk to you and they are no interested in giving you and your pet a great experience!! I LOVE THIS STORE!!!!!

The floor associates are awesome! They take their time to answer questions and give lots of detailed information on pet care. Very helpful in finding items and choosing the best options. Usually, the cashiers are great, too; except today we got one that was just the worst. While we were checking out, I remembered that I had a store credit from earlier in the day, and she was just as rude as possible about accepting it. Complained the whole time, even though there was only one customer behind me and she said she didn't mind waiting; even after another cashier opened the next register to check out the other customer, she still kept complaining. After I told my husband I wasn't going to say anything, she kinda calmed down and explained how slow their registers are and how she wasn't even supposed to be there today. Really, all of our experiences at this store have been great. Just not the checkout process today.

The management and customer service at this location is bad. I went for a return for pet food on the evening of 4/14/23, and per their return policy you have 60 days and have at least 3/4 of the food. I had the food for 3 days and all the food was in tact. As soon as we saw the associate no greeting and said we don't take back food, we spoke to management and she reiterated stating that she worked there for 21 years so she knows. Clearly they are not informed and don't know there own return policy, as I went to a different location and had no issues and was able to make an exchange

This store was very clean. The variety and price were very good. I had been looking for a dog bed that was affordable, comfy, and durable. After looking for months, I found it here. The gentleman at the store was very friendly and helpful. A definite recommend.

Staff was rude and very unprofessional. One staff member approached me without a uniform giving unwarranted advice. I never complain or give bad reviews but this is a store I’d never shop at.I wanted to purchase a single parakeet. We didn’t have anything so we picked out everything needed plus a cage which looked to seem legit for a new bird as it had toys food and other things to keep a new bird comfy. The cage we picked out was obviously a starter cage for a small bird. And whenever the uniformed staff member approached me I explained this to her. We would keep it a short while until we could get a larger nicer one because their larger ones weren’t nice or fun. They were black metal and didn’t look appealing to us so we didn’t want to put the new bird inside a jail cell looking cage. I had even stopped and talked with a customer who had bird and made wonderful suggestions on where to find a nice one.Then another uniformed employee approached us and asked us if we needed help. I told her would like a bird and she said she would go get a box. I said no we will take it home in the starter cage we had picked out she said no she had to put it in a box. So I said ok. Then she came back and said she couldn’t sell us a bird unless we bought a much larger cage. Keep in mind they had like 12 in a small enclosure. I said I plan on getting a bigger cage just not there. Then she said it’s store policy they can’t sell a bird unless it had a bigger cage. Like I understand I just wasn’t going to buy it there. But I didn’t argue with her I know it’s not a policy but they were rude. I will never return here and advise others not to as well.Their worries were valid but it seemed like they saw my cart full of stuff for our new bird and wanted me to spend more money on the ugly cages they had there. Which looks like no one bought because they were overpriced and ugly.

This was my first time at the Stone Mountain location and I was high satisfied with the service I received. Sierra took very good care of my dog. I scheduled online for the next day, but she went out her way to call me and asked if I wanted to come in same day which I said yes. When I got there she explained in detail what she was going to do and gave me a lot of useful information for my dog. The Stone Mountain location is a little ways from where I live, but I don’t mind traveling out my way because Sierra was awesome!!

Buy all the cute clothes and collars you can find.. better yet go online, better selection. But please love you fur baby enough to find better grooming services. This place hires unethical and unprofessional walks of life. Due to their negligence I will no longer be taking my shitzu to ANY PETSMART LOCATIONS. I will be acquiring professional grooming services and can't wait to update here more information about that.
