Philema Animal Hospital is an exceptional veterinary clinic that consistently goes above and beyond in caring for my beloved pugs. The staff is incredibly friendly, making each visit a pleasant experience. Not only do they provide top-notch care, but they also never overcharge and take the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my pets' health needs. The facility is impeccably clean, which is reassuring. Conveniently located close to my house, I appreciate the ease of access. Without a doubt, I will continue entrusting Philema Animal Hospital with the well-being of my furry companions.

My family brought home a beautiful Husky puppy on a Saturday. As usual, we had 48 hours to get our puppy checked out by a vet. We took our puppy to Philema Animal Hospital the next Monday as a walk-in patient. We were seen quickly, and we were provided amazing service by Ally and Dr. Fowler.I highly recommend Philema Animal Hospital, and my family will exclusively use this vet business to keep our 2 cats and 4 dogs healthy.

We have been seeing them for 6 plus years, they were great at first, but when they opened their new location many moons ago it went downhill so fast. I guess having to keep up with the cost of the new facility hiring more employees which then increased cost to boarding which doesn't have anything special about it compared to the facility we use for the same price (pool, playdates, treats, photos etc). Prices increased in care, wait times are so long, boarding wait times are even longer. They do NOT have a good system for this, so we just opted to not use them anymore. Waiting an hour plus to pick up a dog is wild. Melissa is hands down not friendly, she is very rude, and stares at you like you ruined her whole day. I dread going to her for anything so luckily when we do have an appt, they started checking out in the rooms. Its very hit and miss, we use them because we have used them, but slowly we are cutting back as much as we can. Its a money pit, which I get its a business, but when your whole attitude changes, that says a lot.

They were truly exceptional. They made every effort to save my baby from a snake bite, and even though she didn't make it, the entire team was incredibly supportive. They responded promptly to our frantic call, staying open until we could reach them with arms wide open. While my heart hurts, I'm grateful for the caring crew at this facility. My only concern was that the veterinarian didn't mention the likelihood of her survival until after we agreed to administer the antivenom and paid. I hope this was an observation post-medication and not just a financial decision. Nevertheless, their quick response is something I deeply appreciate.

Great experience. Thank you to Diana & Dr Ford. Am in town visiting family. My 2yr old pup injured paw jumping onto patio. Bleeding a lot so I got him cleaned up but couldn’t stop bleeding.Tried 2 Vets closer to us but neither would help animals that are not already their patients. Philema Clinic said yes. Diana & Dr Ford were so gentle with him & kind to me. Treated& patched him up, issued prescription meds & treated me with respect. If they had not have said “come on in”, tonight I would’ve been on a long drive back home to an emergency vet in FL.Thanks y’all. Best to you both in an awesome practice.

Stuck in old ways like the Dr's. Who pushed covid vacine. They want you to feed your dogs corn and rice.. They have been educated by big pharma and the dog food companies. They sell science diet in the office....directly confronted about raw carnivore feeding, and they flatly deny the tremendous benefits and push for a fundamentally flawed and broken nutrition scheme. Dogs should not be fat or have endless allergies or plaque covered teeth. Good vets. Fundamental misunderstanding. Just like those who took the JAB.

I have lost all respect for mr. Green I have been taking my dogs to this clinic for over thirteen years, today was my last time. Since he moved into the new building he seems to not care anymore. The way he spoke to me today was appalling, unprofessional, and without care. They gave my dogs worm vaccine, that I didn't request charged me and additional 295. His office manager was very argumentative, saying that this whole thing could have been avoided if I had given my husband a note Then mr Green comes in, out of control, stating messed up his night. Wow. In the I have no words. If you treating me that way how are you treating my dogs. Shame on you!

My dog was unfortunately bit by a snake late Friday afternoon while at a relative's house. Luckily staff were still in the office and immediately took a look at her and started the anti-venom. In less than 1 hour, we brought her in and were back home, with my dog safely at the vet being treated. She had to spend the night but was well enough the next day to come home.Everyone was nothing but kind and professional throughout! I'm so impressed and thankful for the quick and effective care we received this weekend, especially in an emergency and as new/non-patients. Special shoutout to Dr. Laura for her help. Thank you so much again, Philema!

****MILITARY BEWARE *****If you are military and looking to move overseas with your pets, you may want to avoid this center. Unprofessional, rude and out right expensive. This center has no true care for the pets, but all about the money.My wife and I had the run-around trying to obtain a pet health certificate for our 3 dogs to move to Germany with us.They informed us they do this all the time, however, it took several days for them to fill out paperwork. Being a time sensitive situation, this was very stressful.When the paperwork was completed, the office manager Melissa called with attitude, informing us that she spent all day doing the paperwork - quite rude.They charged us 700$ for my dogs to get looked over for their certificate. On top of the 700$, we were also informed of a 300$ "process fee" for them to submit the health certificate to the USDA. When it's your babies, you will pay it, and we couldn't move to Europe without the paperwork. It is just so sad how they take advantage and not give the pet's best interest.Greedy and money hungry. Do not go here!

I took my dog to Dr. Green for a second opinion from a referral from a very close friend & long time customer. I trusted his opinion and let him keep my dog overnight to perform several necessary surgical procedures. He sensed my nervousness and gave me a complete tour of his office which included a full tour of the hospital and surgical area and explained in great detail what he would be doing and what to expect afterwards. He and his staff truly loves animals and provided the best care to my dog than I could have asked for. I live 2 hours away from his office but knowing the level of care he provided my dog with was well worth the time and money spent! My dog doesn't like him at all but what dog enjoys going to the doctor anyways?!?! He's honest, fair, and sincere when it comes to animals and that's most important!

Strongly recommend finding a different vet. Very rude people and the vet techs have no clue what they are talking about- told me one thing one visit and something completely different the next. We recently adopted a lab from the humane society and had him fixed, they did not give him a pain shot after his surgery "because it wasn't included in the cost"., very well could've of called and asked. Also today getting his stitches out they brought him back he was absolutely terrified.

I wrote a review about two years ago about Philema animal hospital grooming. Our first experience was good but this trip the grooming was terrible and the price skyrocked. Oscar was scheduled for a 9:00AM grooming appointment and they hadn't even started on him until after 2:00PM. I was very upset and cannot recommend this service!!!

Received great and fast care from all the staff! Dr. Todd was able to look over my feral kitty without sedation. The vet techs took the time to answer my questions and explain his meds to me.

Staff is extremely nice and very helpful. The vet sincerely seem like he wanted what was best for my Shane (ferret, top right). He didn't push the surgery Shane needed. We chose not to do surgery because Shane is so old. He's still eating and drinking and perfectly happy still playing. The surgery and treatment would be almost worse than the symptoms he is currently experiencing and he recognized that. I'm extremely grateful that he didn't try to push something on me just because he could make more money. That is something I value more in a bit than anything else even customer service.

If I could leave zero stars I most certainly would. My son takes my puppy in for her grooming and was confronted by an office staff who accused me of commenting under a derogatory Facebook post. I went to Philema Animal hospital and reassured the office manager that they had the wrong Yolanda Thomas and they were adamant it was me. I demanded to see the post but the office manager stated that they had taken it down. So another staff member went on Facebook book and showed me the profile picture in which was ANOTHER YOLANDA THOMAS AND NOT ME!!!!!!! So now you want to apologize later but was so quick to accuse me and assume it was me when all along you had the wrong person. I demanded my puppy not to be touched/groomed and left because I don't want this facility providing any services for my puppy!!!!! I will never come here again!!!!!!!!! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL
