Avoid this place. I had to go in twice due to having a sick kid throwing up in her backseat at the beginning of a 13-hour ride. We stopped here for wipes, a shirt, and trash bags. The First Lady changed the prices once I pointed out that things were ringing up wrong. The second lady DID NOT, after I had pointed it out to her. She shrugged her shoulders and said, “yeah, and?” I asked would she change it and she looked at me like I called her out her name. I just walked out. I know how to fix people.

Fantastic store. Plenty of stuff and sales.Now I am writing this review on the recognition of this poor cashier who was left alone to attend to the whole store with no help. Crystal deserves some attention in the sense that she was working the place all alone, and diligently. Long line but still positive and continuing her job. 4:16pm today was whenever we checked out and I feel bad for her.Props to her for doing all she can with coworkers not being there!!

They have a small produce area. Potatoes, avocados, tomatoes, bananas, garlic,strawberries. That is nice!! As well as a decent sized freezer/refrigerator section.Workers are okay.A lot of the time when I visit, there are messes everywhere. Also, the parking lot could use a cleaning.

Had to wait a very long time with only two people in front of me. Cashier obviously didn't know what she was doing (trainee I'm sure). But she had no TRAINER! All associates were very nice though which made the waiting more bearable.

They had my coffee creamer!! Yahoo!! Got 3 bottles. Had to get a few things. The cashier was nice and did a great job. She double bagged my stuff. Pretty cool.

Well stocked but the store is a little messy. They do not pay their employees well and it shows in the level of customer service. They are always understaffed, and the store looks more like a flea market then a well put together business.I do not always feel safe in this store. If you are not from here, go 8 miles north on 17 and go to the Dollar General in Martin, Georgia. Cleaner and safer area.

Avoid this store. Terrible service. Staff in store gave me a hard time on a refund of a game card that my grandson purchased. No refund or card replacement. No nothing. 30 dollars down the drain. They tell me to come back and talk to to manager. well you never get the manager because they always give you a different name. I used this store weekly. But no more.

This is dollar general used to be a good store and thank god they opened the new one in old Fred’s building. The employees on Jones street are the laziest and rudest employees. They will not give you credit on products that fail. The two guys that work there need a attitude adjustment. I hope this store closes and maybe the employees can get a job on production lines instead of working with the public rude people and shelves never stocked. I don’t understand how the one guy is a manager I guess it doesn’t take much to have a title. Linda and her crew at the new one are awesome

The one in Lavonia,Ga. Their doing better. New people working there. I had heard that so thought l would give them another chance. I will upgrade the Stars later when l see it stays better.l will stop back in over the weekend and see if their still trying to do better. I have to say, it's not about doing better, it's about how you treat the person coming through your door, that without them and many more, the clerk's wouldn't have a job. That doesn't mean if someone is cussing at you or something, you would want to say something but sometimes it's best go into the stock room and let the manager check that person out. Just be professional, and that's the problem the store in Lavonia on 17, right in town is having. I like the extra cooler's and the sandwiches they added, most are $2.00 and their. Good.The Dollar General near autozone will end up hurting the one in town if the workers there don't treat everyone that comes in with a good attitude, not act likeThat person is being a burden to them just cause they ask where something was. I know their closer to me, but with bad attitude worker's no problem going to another store and spend my money there. I do hope they. Change.

Was well stocked, and CLEAN...it has one self checkOut register for your convenience...has most all your home needs...I went to grab some Tylenol PM for my sister ...in and out in no time...May you find what you are looking for...The SmithClan

The Dollar General Jones St Lavonia is where i like to shop after work. Convenient and good prices but there is never anyone to help and the store has become a mess. They are not getting the items on shelf from back until they r ready. I have asked to please have puppy pads from back and i am looking right at stock but they dont go the above and beyond. I hope it gets better, i go to the one in Martin, Ga. Now.

That lady there was very nice but she was basically running the store by herself since her managers were in the back room slacking off. And there was a lit of things stolen lying around.

Shelves are looking a little bare right now, but can usually get what you need fast. Would be nice if the sales clerks would smile every now and then.

The worst employees I've ever seen in a store in all my life. Lavonia dollar general is s disgrace! 2 drink men totally st as lking and harassing customers and store employees do NOTHING TO STOP IT. The mb a mb Ave sske out with all the commotion to open another register to separate them and then claimed she didnt geat what ir was about. I'm sorry but as loud as it all was in the check out line, even the deaf could have heard it all. Lavonia DS needs to start hiring people from a different street corner! Management should be watching the store video from 1:30- 2:05 today.

They seem to let there customers stand in very long lines to check out even though there are 2 registers an enough people to ring up there customers. I have seen many lay there items down an walk out
