Very good experience. They have great produce and fair prices on almost everything in the store and friendly staff. I was not a fan of the pork chops that we purchased, but all in all a great experience.

Dill's has definitely done a lot of upgrades in the past year! They are very customer friendly, from babies to the elderly and handicapped. They have the little mini buggies for the small kids and plenty of the electric grocery carts for people who can't walk to store, for what ever reason. They have everything that the major city grocery stores have, but haven't lost the friendly home town charm, that Lavonia Georgia is so famous for! 🙂

Hometown store. Only grocery store in town. Meat prices are pretty good. Deli food is good. Other groceries are a little overpriced. Some things are double the price than in other out of town stores.

I would rather actually drive 20 minutes or so to Walmart dills has everything you need in it as far as food and the food is not bad but it's costly I could save a whole lot more money by going to Walmart I only like going to dills for maybe one thing or something that's a necessity but I rather go to Walmart or the Dollar tree for the cheap stuff and Walmart for the big stuff other than that dills is too expensive...

A nice grocery store, great selection of products, helpful and friendly staff, and an independent coffee bar.

Surprised by the selection of quality food items. Not from the area and was able to all the produce, meats and dry goods that I desired. Most prices were good but some were higher than I am used to in Atlanta. Overall I would shop here again when in the area.

Getting a lil on the expensive side but, if we’re honest isn’t all grocers.?They need to remove their tags for certain food items and renew them for the correct amount. I’ve purchased a few items and when I got home noticed the price was way higher than what was on the shelf. For instance a bag of Cheese said 5.29 and I was charged 8.29. Huge difference if you ask me.

As SENIOR CITIZENS, Americans are always trying to expand their ability to purchase just the most simple things. We spend time signing up with this one or that one. Even an app with the world famous McDonalds! Like those buy one get one free.Needless to say, this organization has no app. But, it does have a web site, and, with your phone number entered into their software check-out program, you can save up to ..... up to ..... up to ..... DAMN THING DID NOT WORK!After spending my precious moments of time left on this Earth entering data into their web site, getting the % off of items --- receiving a "bar code" (remember MONARCH, a Pitney Bowes Company, that produced the FIRST RETAIL BARCODE? I retired from Pitney) that would convey to its employees that I was now an official of their corupt on-line form.Surely, I would strongly encourage seniors to be aware of this issue. I am short of calling it something else - what it appears to have birthed. Since this is over the internet, its a matter for the FTC - not me.This location is governed by children no older that eighteen (18) years of age. When the child who was checking me out, he entered my phone number. He exclaimed that nothing was reduced! Oh my! This had happen already (perhaps this same evening - but, since he had been working.Well, he honestly asked, is this okay - will you pay the retail price without the discounts. If he would have been an adult, I truly know he would not have asked that.I firmly replied, as if speaking to my kids, "No, the reason I am here is for the discounts." At that point, he fetched the oldest child on duty, eighteen, I imagine. Remember the novel "Peter Pan?" That is the environment here. Ho! Ho! Ho!The young child, perhaps a senior in high school, examined the smart phone and exonerated me. All the data was there... But, she had no solution. I really did not expect any of the children there to have solutions. They were not trained yet, and understandably, no paid to know solutions.OH MY! I forgot, she did have a solution. I would be compelled to take everything out of the grocery cart. Next I was expected to simply express, in a clear and concise words, what her employer had on sale.Next.... I maintaining a level of civilly, I spoke a few words and exited the business. Now, I do know that this message is over the heads of the teenagers that operate the business at night. However, I am confident that an adult, maybe closer to our ages, will respond and act accordingly, ensuring that this never happens to senior citizens again.God Bless America!

Great place, friendly staff. A little bit of everything. Good prices. Very good quality food, both cooked and groceries. By the way fried fish on Fridays. I'll be back every week from now on.

The only grocery store in town and they know it!!!!!!!! The deli is awful, the chicken is never even close to fresh and I guess the salad bar is for the flies. Since they quit mailing sales papers I might go twice a year, ( only when convenient) guess they can’t see that cutting corners comes back to bite!!!

Worst grocery store I have ever shopped at. I f-ing can’t stand shopping here. I try to buy as little as possible when I shop here because everything is way overpriced. I usually only go here if I need only one or two items since I live close by & do my regular shopping at Walmart. Be sure to check expiration dates before buying things here. Tonight I bought a frozen cheesecake brought it home today is July 5th 2023 & the cheesecake had a best by date of May 25th 2023. I also went one time there last year to get potatoes & every single bag of potatoes I had picked up to look at was rotting & leaking & had dead & alive flies crawling around in them. This grocery store is f-ing gross & lately the last few times I’ve been in there it kinda stinks in there. If you can shop somewhere else I suggest you do it.

Prices are high, service is ok, management runs around with their head cut off and seem to have nothing right. Personally I try to shop elsewhere or order stuff online. I really don't think the owners care for the store anymore, and from I heard they run every other competition off by any means it seems. It sucks we can not have a local farm market or more options to pick from. Or I mean the owners to actually care 🤷🏽♂️

A great selection of... well... Pretty much everything! From the deli to the meat counter to frozen foods to bread to canned and boxed goods, it's all here. They even have a beer cave. It's all reasonably priced and they have even better service.

Helpful staff and the store is kept very clean. Prices are on the higher end compared to other stores, but with no competition that's to be expected.

High prices everywhere here. Too many empty items. But that happens in small towns USA. Just thankful we have a grocery store to shop!

Prices were a little high. But I did see a lot of higher quality food items. Staff wasn't the most friendly. They weren't rude. But not friendly at the same time. Store was dirty. With a global pandemic going on. I'd expect more clearness. That's the biggest reason I give them 3 stars and not 4.

Went to the Lavonia location two Sundays back. Nothing in the hot case in the deli at 11:15. Had paper taped up saying what they had. No salad bar set up. Nothing prepared anywhere. Couldn’t get the girls in the deli to pay attention to customers standing in front of them to even answer a question. Went up front and no one knew anything. The girl running the front area was at most late high school age. Was very disappointed with the lack of preparation, knowledge, and lack of care displayed. Dills do better. There should be more than just teenagers running a store. We unfortunately had to leave and go elsewhere for my family of five’s lunch.Update: Went by this afternoon almost two weeks later, same thing. No salad bar and just papers stuck to the hot bar case with nothing in it. No help to be found anywhere. I also messaged Dills twice and messages were read and not responded to. We live in Royston right near the Dills and used to spend $300-$400 a week there. Now our business will be done with Food Lion.

It's not to far from where I live and they have reasonable prices on most of the groceries. The only thing is if you are an attractive woman there is a chance you will have thirsty mf's following you around. It makes me so uncomfortable sometimes. I just want do my grocery shopping in piece.

I bought 2 bake chickens. One was lemon peppered ( it raw inside), the other was baked(dried out). Called, the girl said oh I’m sorry about that. Nothing else. Dills in Lavonia deli has gone done really bad. Food is awful. Royston food is a lot better.

Always like shopping here whenever I go to Lavonia. Come there mainly for the meat department. They have good looking meats and at a pretty fair price. I prefer buying meat local instead of from out of state suppliers like Walmart, and the big grocery stores use. Some things are a little higher here, but most everything seems to be better quality stuff throughout the store.I have been coming here for many years, and plan to continue in the future.PS- I also appreciate that even though they have the only grocery store in Lavonia for many locals to use, they modernized the entire store in the last few years.

Nice store. This was my first visit and it was a pleasant surprise. I found several great deals throughout the store but particularly in the meat section. I will definitely be back.
