Best Vet clinic in the Valdosta area. The technicians are wonderful! They're great at checking in on pets who are I'll or injured and they also call with friendly reminders for mediation or checkups! Dr. Lea is incredible and very personable! Been using their services for 10 years!

I am very pleased with the customer service and their character and integrity. They received me in earlier than my appointment time. They explained very well what the we're doing and discussed the health of our two dogs. When I didn't understand the bill they patiently and kindly explained the bill. They take excellent care of our animals. I am very please in the care they have shown our children ( animals). I am pleased to have them as our vet. Merry Christmas to all the staff.

I am so grateful to Dr McNeal and staff. Our hearts are shattered and full of gratitude at the same time. They did everything in their power to save our sweet girl Possum. My son’s child hood best friend. She lived a long beautiful life. To know Possum was to love that sweet girl. She had so much love to share. And I’m not sure how life will ever be the same without her. They kept us updated on her when she was with them and when she was home they was calling bc she was on their minds. The love that was shown was so heart warming. There was so much hope for her to get better. But her body was tired. She was ready to rest. So we make the decision to let her cross that rainbow bridge and Dr McNeal made sure Possum girl knew how much she was loved. She left this world surrounded by love. I know my son is so grateful for everything. She also reassured my son he did everything he could to save her. Thank you all for treating Possum with so much love. If you want your fur baby to be treated like family. This is where you need to be.

I accompanied my cousin to this vet’s office with a dog that was to be put down due to cancer. To help understand my review, the dog had terrible cancer, but we were waiting until my uncle, my counwin’s father, had passed away before having the dog put down.My cousin’s father had passed away the day before she called to make the appointment; the receptionist, when cousin told her that her dad passed away, said nothing, no condolences.Fast forward to the next day and the appointment. Four of the staff members were told that her father passed, again, no response, nothing. Even the vet said nothing. Another tech that knew my cousin and her situation hugged my cousin and was so very sweet.On top of that, the computer screen was up with the previous patient’s information : owner’s name, animal name, the diagnosis and how much was charged.All in all, the only professionalism shown was in the handling of the dog. I was so disgusted with the lack of compassion and then surprised that a patient’s information, that should’ve been confidential, was left for us to see.

I am very pleased with how well everything has went with my miniature doxy’s surgery repairing her chest wall after being attacked by a bigger dog. She was very well taken care of and so was I put at ease with the level of comfort they provided. We r home now recovering and so far so good. Thanks again Dr McNeal and staff.

i went up to this vet trusting them with my 8week old male dog that has broken ribs & was bleeding out. they ask me all these questions & told me they were working with my dog then come to find out they couldn’t without 1000 deposit & then as soon as i told them i got approved for care credit they told me i need to go to another vet that’s 24hrs & they were going to “send records from today to the vet i’m going to” & they didn’t have any records because they didn’t do anything to him & told the other vet i took my dog & just left because i was mad at them. WILL NOT BRING MY DOG BACK HERE… IF HE SERVES.

Update: adopted a rescue. The vets office was able to get her in as a drop off first thing Monday morning with no appointment. They are an amazing facility.Absolutely amazing! They saw my pup the same day I called. Staff is wonderful. Even sent me the cutest pic of my dog in the mail.

They take great care of all our babies.Since i retired we began rescuing dogs and it has been a hard road .Abused , starving and s ared these babies need homes . We get them healthy and happy and rehome them.Lake park vet clinic has been and continues to be a huge part of this process.Good people.I would tell anyone to go there.Not just for the dogs shots and so on , they also board your fur babies so you can have that long weekend .Or emergency function you must attend but can't take the pooches.

We purchased a GSD puppy on Oct 1st, called Lake Park Monday to get her up to date on everything for that Friday. By Thursday she had bad diarrhea, so I called and they said bring her in now. So I did and dropped her off. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. When I came to pick her up, the vet came in and went over everything, all of her meds, all of our questions about appropriate food and supplements, vaccine schedules, said her heart was great, went over her from head to tail. She was kind and understanding that we were worried and upset and was extremely compassionate. And to top it off, our bill was extremely doable. We had a great experience.

Dr. McNeal is so knowledgeable and has such compassion. She cared for our Rottie and was the one to discover his bone cancer during a routine check up. Although not the outcome we would have liked, Dr. McNeal did everything she was able to for our sweet boy, including easing his transition to the Rainbow Bridge. She now provides care for our Golden Retriever and 2 kittens.

The vets are both wonderful. Very kind and easy to talk to. So why not 5 stars you ask? Well, because picking up a simple Rx shouldn’t take 20-30 minutes. As far as I can tell, they don’t have a regular receptionist that waits on people. They have a sign in clip board. You have to wait until someone (a tech?) walks up from the back area and hope they eventually acknowledge you. If you get lucky, they will ask if you’ve been helped but most of the time they don’t even make eye contact and leave again and again without saying a word. I find that rude. The facility is old and they appear to be understaffed. I also don’t like that I’m separated from my dog at the beginning of an appointment. She’s a sensitive breed and I’d prefer to stay with her. That’s not how they do things here though. I stay because of how likable the vets are.

THANK YOU RACHEL, DR. EMILY, KYNDALL, AND PRINCESS!!!!!I am an rv'er and my dog contracted a severe UTI. I called on the chance I could be squeezed in. Without hesitation I was told "bring your dog in and the Doctor will see her". She is comfortable and sleeping soundly.Bring your pet here!
