The room & beds were comfortable. They include multiple pillows, so you can choose the type that you like best. The hotel is immediately off 75 with a Wendy's and a Cracker Barrel near. And,the cost was significantly less than the Holiday Inn Express. Nevertheless, this is by far the worst Hampton we've ever stayed in! . It's the first time we've experienced an old hotel renovated to be a Hampton. Our main complaint is noise, mostly due to a gap under the door, with rooms opening to a three-story atrium. Sound carries from all of the people coming in late and those leaving early. If you stay, book on the 3rd floor as we could hear lots of stomping around from those above us. We may stay here again. Just bring your earplugs.

This has got to be the worst hotel to date for the cost they charged. $210.00. The room smelled. ROACHES in the closet. Yes ROACHES. Used wash cloth on the sink. The linens were not fresh as you can smell cologne on the dingy pillow cases. Was the room even cleaned? No trash bags in the trash containers. Doors and inside were scraped up and moldy smelling. It even started bad which should have been a sign to us to keep driving. The front desk clerk took forever to get us checked in and offered no receipt or cost for the room. He just handed us the key. Out of complete frustration and being very tired from the long drive we went to the room only to find it subpar. Definitely not what I expected nor what I was used to and I have stayed at a Hampton Inn before so I expected far better than what we got. I don't feel it deserved the 1 star it was given. I'm still itching from the stay. Couldn't sleep because of the sense of something crawling on me. Very uncomfortable situation to be in. Let me be frank. My LAST time staying there at that location. To add if the clerk had no idea what he was doing or was new.... why leave him there alone???? He should have had assistance or at a minimal supervision. Shame on this experience for ruining your brand, It tainted this customer/guest for sure. Never again. Don't care if I have to drive another 40 miles to find a suitable place that is what I will do. May has well kept my money and slept in the car. For my records when I got home I had to call and have a receipt sent to me. omg!

Susan was the old white lady checking me in and gave me a hard time checking in even though I had already paid previously. She was totally racist, because an older white gentleman came in after she started to check me in and she just stopped my check in and started checking him in before me right in front of my face with no apologies. When I checked out she was giving another customer a hard time that morning. She’s horrible for customer service at the hotel.Rooms: Great room.Nearby activities: Wild adventures is close by.Safety: Feels really safe.Walkability: Restaurants are in to hotels and in walking distance for anything you need.Food & drinks: Close access.Noteworthy details: Customer service was horrible with Susan.

There are several hotels on the same corner. We first booked a room at a competitor for a cheaper price. After finding it full of cockroaches, we got a refund and walked across the street to Hampton. It was well worth the price increase! We received a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. The art and decor are lovely. Got a great night's sleep. Would stay here again.

My husband, baby and I stayed here during the recent hurricane. The general manager was amazing and so helpful, she did everything to extend our stay so we didn't have to go back home to a hot house with a baby. Everyone was so friendly. It has such a family environment and so welcoming. They were short staffed but you would have never known because they handled everything wonderfully. Breakfast every morning was very yummy. We are so thankful to this hotel for helping us in a time of need.

Hampton by Hilton Valdosta, Lake Park Georgia Wednesday October 18. 2023First, as we were going to check in, outside the sidewalk it is slanted and when my mother grabbed onto the fence handrail, it literally pulled out of the ground and broke fell to the ground, with her with it.When we went to the desk and I advised Susan the desk clerk what had happened, she just looked at my mom and asked it she was ok, my mother replied no.Susan then just continued with our check in.Then, as my husband myself and my parents entered the elevator, the doors closed on my father, literally pinning him. My husband had to help pull the doors open.When I told the desk clerk in the morning, the exact response I received was,“really? We have been having problems with that elevator for months now”Both of my parents were injured. My mom is having a lot of back pain and my dad suffered severe bruising on his arm. I took pictures and video. I emailed filing a complaint and was never even contactedSafety: Extremely disappointed

Let’s start with the good…the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.Now to the downsides…there was only 1 bath towel in the room for the 2 of us. Apparently that was the case in every room. The hotel blamed the lack of towels on the “hurricane” that passed over Valdosta 3 weeks ago. Sure. The tv was on all night (overnight) in the room next door. They were watching ridiculousness, and while I enjoy that show, it would be nice if there was a little bit more sound insulation. The tv would randomly stop working for several minutes out of nowhere. The shower leaked all over the floor of the bathroom.With all that said, our dog enjoyed the room thoroughly! Even with that, I would not stay at this hotel again, and I would tell anyone who asked to stay away.By the way, I have a long history of working in and managing hotels, so I feel like I kind of know what I’m talking about.

Decent hotel. It was my my family of four and our cat. The pet deposit was reasonable but I got charged more than I was quoted all together. Staff was very kind though and accommodated that I needed a first floor room due to my children with special needs.Only complaint I had was the floors in our room were gross. My kids feet were sticky and black even after their baths and so were mine. Their socks got dirty and disgusting too.Please do something about this. Even if is just an overnight stay, at that price? I expect cleanliness.Food & drinks: For 3 drinks it was 11$. A little ridiculous. Bring your own. Their breakfast was decent though.Noteworthy details: Staff was friendly. Accommodations for the first floor really helped me out.

Stay away - terrible customer service. I’ve stayed at this Hampton numerous times including about four timeswith our dog… I had a reservation for today and called to make sure I could get a first floor room near a door for our dog. Nothing on the Hilton app showed their policy changed to institute a weight limit for dogs, and when I called I was not told their policy recently changed to include a maximum weight limit. Imagine my shock when I was told I had to leave because my dog was about 5 pounds over - and that they changed their policy a month ago. Even worse - they refused to give me anything stating I was being asked to leave for that reason. I’ve put complaints in with the Hhonors customer loyalty program but wanted to leave a warning here also.

This Hampton Inn inValdosta / Lake Park GA, is one of the most beautiful Hampton inns inside and out. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is top-notch and the rooms are beautiful up-to-date and fresh. They go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. If you’re heading, south, drive past the first Hampton Inn in Valdosta and stay at the lake Park, Hampton Inn you will not be disappointed and it’s only one or two exits away just minutes from the Valdosta airport.

Terrible service and poorly managed. I give it 2 stars mainly because the room was fairly clean. Not enough towels for my party, but we had hand towels. Breakfast bar was terrible. Eggs and sausage links were cold, what little was available. Had to request more food to be set out. Coffee ran out, mentioned to the front desk manager that it was empty and nothing was done. Another guest mentioned to the breakfast bar employee and she replaced with fresh coffee. Tables in the breakfast area were all dirty. Every time I've stayed in Valdosta area, the hotel service has been substandard. Stayed at a Hampton in Madison the following day and the stay was superb. Several other guests also commented on the same concerns I've addressed.

The hotel was clean but had an odd layout. All hotel rooms on all floors circled a breakfast area in the center. Those who wish to have some sleep, don’t stay here. Starting at 6, when breakfast started, there was a great amount of noise. we were on the bottom floor and as soon as we walked out, we were in the breakfast area. You may think it sounds convenient but it’s not due to the sounds throughout the night of people getting to their rooms late. I much prefer hotel layouts where the dining area is separate from the rooms and the noise isn’t as abundant. We went to the pool and it seemed clean but was very small. Deepest it got was 5 feet and was about 10 yards long. Breakfast wasn’t very good either. Some things were out and most condiments and drinks were poorly labeled. Eggs were full of veggies so if you have a picky eater there’s not much to eat

A decent hotel but the beds are very hard - like sleeping on a box with a small cushion. The breakfast area, during by guest rooms, wasn't kept as well as other Hampton Inns that I've visited. They don't offer multiple coffee creamers. Don't get a room by the entrance because guests aren't always sensitive to the fact that others might be sleeping.

Room was really nice clean and remodeled. Breakfast was awful. I come from the food service industry.So I try to have alot of patience and respect staff at all times. So much attitude. I asked to have a coffee cup and she responded with already! I just filled them up. She hated her job and it was clear. She shouldn't be the personality everyone wakes up to. The Dark roast coffee tasted like water. I waited to get a refill thinking the coffee was just running out. But no. I guess they kept forgetting to put in the coffee. Toaster was broken. Just simply management needs to step in and make sure everything is refilled. No butter, no coffee ,no hot water for tea. 3- 4 sausages left for 45 min. No refills on anything. The waffle area was just dirty. The cup of yogurt i had was great though. Just awful Breakfast.

I have stayed at many Hampton Inns as this is my preferred travel hotel. This particular one was the absolute filthiest that I have ever seen. The bathroom and shower were dirty and moldy. The shower fixtures were falling off the wall. Bathroom floors along with the carpet in the room were sticky. Even the hallway carpeting looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. If you like clean I would advise against staying here.

Room was not cleaned properly when we checked. If you are going to have white towels, make sure they are white.. ours had finger prints and dirty stains. Towel on the vanity had a long wig hair embedded in the towel. We had to ask for fresh clean towels. The lady at the counter was not familiar with the system and kept telling me and my husband that our cards were declined due to Fraudulent activity. This made ZERO sense to use.. we were staring at the charges to each of our cards that she kept saying declined. 1 bank card and 2 credit cards. Then she said she will honor the room if we paid cash. left there to driver to a Wells Fargo ATM 13.5 miles away.. Halfway 10 miles into the drive, she calls my cell phone to inform me that the card was approved. We headed back and she gave us the card keys. On Sunday morning upon checking out, she informs me that there are fees to the room that was not processed. I got close to losing my cool with her. I told her, I do not want to talk to her anymore.. I will speak to the manager. Waited for the Manager and the Manager turned to her and said there is no fee due. She did not know how to read the system. I will NEVER stay at that location again when returning to Wild Adventure with the Family.

I asked my entire family on our way out of the hotel, if we should give a two or a three, and they all voted a two. Grant it, we are used to staying in beach resorts or closer to five star hotels, but we mainly chose a two, because we checked in very late in the night after driving for 6 hours, and it took us over an hour to get checked in. Never had an experience like that. Our room was a little shady feeling. Wasn’t dirty, bud had an odd smell upon first walking in the room. Looks as if it had been renovated, but like they just put a bandaid on top of whatever was. Didn’t see any bugs, got breakfast, waffles, eggs, and ham. So if your driving long hours and just need a little pit stop hotel until you get to your real destination, over all not bad and this is a good budget hotel for the money.

Air conditioning was terrible… never got below 75 even when set to 70. Reported to staff but basically got a shrug and was told….”yeah someone else had to be moved for the same issue”. Just seemed irritated that anybody would complain about it. Bed was uncomfortable and breakfast was skimpy and gross. Room looked nice and was clean and roomy but would not stay here again. We are Hilton Honors members and expected a better level of quality.

Very cool decor! This is a great location at the Florida - Georgia line to stop for the night on your travels. Rates were reasonable, beds comfy, guest rooms and common areas were clean.
