Went to make some purchases at my local Family Dollar store that I love to shop at even more so than dollar general today. They were not open. I have heard over the several past months of disgruntle employees having to work long hours due to short staffing.. they still smiled and did they're job the best they could. Hope this gets sorted out soon. Still like shopping there. It's convenient and has what I need for the most part.

Store# 03231 9:15pm. 1st encounter: I went to pick up some Halls. There was only 1 kind of the Halls so once I got to the register to make my purchase, I asked her about the other brands because I really wanted the honey lemon Halls instead of the cooling flavor Halls. “The lady flat out said whatever is there is there.” 2nd encounter within minutes after I run back in because I forgot to get bleach and a few toothbrushes. Every time I go in the store their always in the middle of price changing. I picked up bleach that was priced $4.75 and when I got to the register it scanned as $6.50. I told the lady this and her reply was “it’s scanning at this price so that’s how much is” rudely. I asked why is it every time I come in this store and you are here working, you be so rude and mean? She proceeded to tell me “it was in my head and if I didn’t like it to not come back in her store”. I told her that is ridiculous…acknowledging her reply was not pleasant. I normally brush her unpleasant remarks off whenever she’s working but tonight was just a night I couldn’t brush off!!! If I could leave no stars, I definitely would have done just that!

I come to this store and the new manager Nicole is horrible. She’s very rude and shows little regard to helping others and has a “that’s not my problem” attitude. I loved going here because of the prices compared to other places, but the customer service is not great at all. I’d rather pay the extra money elsewhere…

Went to get some chips and soda and the chips said one price, but wrang up another. The lady was nice and said she needed the on duty manager, Eugene, to override the price. He not so politely told me that the previous product that was there was that price, and he refused to honor it. So, they've completely lost my business.

Very surprised. Very clean and well organized merchandise. I found almost every thing I was looking for. Prices were comparable to other area stores but lower than major drug stores and food markets. Check out was friendly and professional, well groomed employees

Nasty from the time you enter the door - all the cobwebs under the canopy and by the door - cobwebs line the entire ceiling , not for decoration purposes . You can tell it needs a deep clean because of all the mice that’s been in and out of there . Roaches too . Every one who shop here should know that the rats and roaches been on all the products and touched all the food and probaly took a bite too .

If you did not know were to fine something you ask them and they will tell you were to fine it and when it rains they mop up the floor so no body will fall and get hurt. And the sign out days ,3.99 for s pack of pyramid cigarettes and they charge you ,4.14 a pack they told me that you have to buy more then one

I love Family Dollar, especially their snack aisle,they have an aisle where everything is $1,from juices,fruit,candy,chips,etc,always good cleaning products,pillows, medicine,etc., everything you need in your everyday life..

This store may be a bit small, but you can still get around in a wheelchair or a motorized scooter. I didn't have any trouble getting around with mine, and most of the shelves are low enough that even someone in a wheelchair can reach most everything.

Not too happy with them. There were 2 cashiers, one opened up for the next customer OR SO I THOUGHT. I started unloading my cart only to have the cashier say "you'll have to go back in the OTHER LINE " it's the change of the shift. Since she saw I was unloading the cart she could/ SHOULD HAVE taken my purchases & stopped the next person, (which there wasn't @ that time), before they started unloading their cart.
