i just picked up a great dane from here today. i had a good experience over all and the staff was helpful and friendly ! my only issue/ thing i didn’t like was how skinny all of the puppies were. i’mnot sure how much they feed them but it doesn’t seem to be enough for the breed of dog. i can see their ribs individually as well as their pelvic bone. it’s honestly sad. but other than that they keep them up to date on their medicine which is a good thing

Absolutely love this store! Always has the best customer service! Alex is amazing! We have gotten both our French Bulldogs from here and with all the warranties and what they provide we wouldn’t get a French bulldog anywhere else! We also got our sweet Mini Schnauzer from here!

First they need to do something about that heavy urine smell, second when we got in it took us a while to catch someone to talk to. I think there were enough staff on the floor but not for customer care.Most important hamsters, mice are sensitive to bright light and they had no where to hide.

Got our new pup here! Really straight forward process and informative on what our warranty and purchase process was. It’s a liiiittttleeee more expensive than going directly to the breeder, but the started kit, warranty, shot process, KENNEL- those things definitely make it worth it!

So disappointed to see how skinny this Dane puppy was. One kennel had more then 6 dogs in a the little window box. Do better. We had bought two pups from here in the past 16 years. Both pups ended up with hereditary conditions and one had to have double hip replacement surgery at 6 months old. I know they are cute adorable puppies but please think twice when purchasing from here. My schnauzer did not come from the kennel they claimed he did. He was also not AKC registered as they stated. He was only PALS.

Hadiya was amazing found the dog of me and my fiancés dreams it was so much fun she was so helpful and sweet. Alex the manager was also great helping us out to! Lovely place to get a animal.

We Visited this store on 6/18. Was greeted by “Cierra” who was kind and sweet. She told us about the puppies and the “discounts” they had. I was not prepared for the price that was quoted to me. One puppy was over $6K. To me that is unacceptable. The facility was clean, appeared to be organized and offered an array of pet supplies for different animals, not just dogs. To the previous reviewer that exclaimed that the puppy didn’t come with a Honda Civic, I share the same sentiments. The puppies were cute to interact with; however, they are extremely expensive for no reason. I applied just for the sake of it to see how much interest and how much the payments were. I have no idea why someone would agree to pay this much for a pup, let alone finance one. Cute puppies, but I will be adopting my fur baby through the humane society.

I came into Petland today, and left happy with the cutest miniature schnauzer 💜 Cortland (sorry if I butchered the spelling) and her manager Alex were so kind with myself and my family, they were really great with helping us with everything including pricing on the dog. The both of them made us feel really comfortable with our purchase and with bringing the dog home. We are really happy we went with petland for our new family member.

Came by on a busy Sunday with no plans to get a new dog, and then my GF and I sat with two puppies and the rest was history. The staff is great, the puppies are of high and reputable quality. We were helped by Eliza and Alex and they were extremely helpful, patient and informative. I’d recommend getting a dog from Petland. Getting a new dog can be overwhelming and they both made the experience a breeze and it was nice to walk out with everything the puppies needed. Thank you Petland for the new family members!

Petland will never see my business!! I came in with my baby sister and my mom looking to buy her puppy and buy myself one as well. We can inside we waited for about 20 minutes no one greeted us asked if we needed help or anything. My mom went to the desk to ask to ask is we could see the cocapoo and the yorkie they told us we had to wait cause it was feeding time. Totally understandable. Another 20-30 min go by we go ask again and the same two girls sitting at the desk told us that we need to wait. Then these same two girls put all their attention into this young lady who was there to pick up her dog that she purchased and when did it take two people to take a puppy outside while you still have guest inside trying to make a purchase. Then have the nerve to ask me am I ready like I haven’t been waiting all this time to purchase two dogs!!!! Would’ve been a great sale but now it’s your loss. And then have the nerve to charge those prices for dogs who are in cages with poop and food everywhere and the dogs eating each other poop while the employees just stand around talking. I will never go there again!!!

Phenomenal experience… Literally we went inside just to see a couple of dogs… ended up walking out with one… Thanks to Amanda, she introduced us to one beautiful Cocker Spaniel.. now named Marley… Again thanks to Amanda and the manager making this all work out! Great birthday…. Will be back.

I loved this place if your thinking about adopting a authentic dog breed this is 100% the place. Although I haven't adopted a dog from here they still let you hold the dogs and play with them. Employees are super nice especially sky he is very kind to customers. I love coming here whenever. It's also a great place for college students to work warm environment plus they can hold the puppies for a minute also!

I’m really not sure why people continue to support these businesses. These poor animals are begging for the right care. The golden retriever is 50% off and looks very sickly. I seen it also chewing on its tail and several animals looked malnourished.. that were ALSO very discounted. Their cages are filthy, coated with feces and urine that seems to be seeping from underneath the wall. in 2018, a dead puppy was found in one of their deep freezers. Adopt, don’t shop. Especially if you don’t know the history behind these store. I only hope all the animals bought from these stores are loved & healthy now.

Got a husky from here last Sunday, staff was helpful with making sure we go home with everything we needed that day.I was very indecisive after the first couple days as to if this was the right fit for me, which the manager Alex (super awesome, nice and reasonable guy) helped out tremendously with my decision making, without trying to persuade me one way or the other. He listened to my situation and gave his honest feedback, which I really appreciate and he should be recognized for it! A lot of people are giving this place a bad rep but just know that these people working here are human, just like you, trying their best to do what they know. Not everyone is or can be perfect. Over all super pleased with my personal experience! Pup is in great condition, not a single sign of sickness!Thanks again for Alex and his crews professionalism and for all of the help they provided me with! Now I have my buddy for life thanks to them!

I have been searching for a new companion since my Angelina died September of 2023.Finding a beautiful Chihuahua photo of a puppy at Petland in Kennesaw, I felt I had found my new friend.I received a call to set up a play date. I was shortly out the door and headed to their location. Google Maps got me there quickly and safely. There were a lot of customers there checking out the beautiful pets. The store was clean and the animals were in a clean viewing boxes. All of them appeared friendly and excited to see all of us.The beautiful black and white Chihuahua appeared to be long haired and was full of energy and ready to play! She was curious and wanted to go check out the other areas but we were visiting in an area where we could visit safely.Only one thing kept me from bringing her home with me. One of the employees shared her lineage information and health records. She has an under bite on her lower jaw and at this young age had already had surgery for a hernia. Due to the surgery she could not breed future littersHer price, I felt for a non-breeding AKC, was a little high at $3.800.Sadly I drove home without a new companion.Petland Kennestone had a wide selection of animals but my eyes were seeking out just one of them. Communication online and on the phone was perfect. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted and led to a visitation box where the puppy I came to see was brought to me. All of my questions were answered by employees that were always ready to help.Great store, wide selection of animals and very helpful employees. The price was the only issue I had in purchasing this beautiful animal.I will return to visit if I find another companion to visit. ☆☆☆☆

I love this place! We’ve been twice in a week. I just love to see the puppies and they are very generous about letting you hold and spend time with whichever puppy you choose. They have many little half-wall stalls where you can spend time with the puppy, which I appreciate greatly! The staff was friendly and helpful. However, I did feel like I was getting pressured a little (think “used car salesmen”) to purchase a puppy right away, even though I stated that we are taking our time to make sure the puppy is the perfect fit for us. I also think the prices are outlandish. They are just asking way too much for their puppies. I’d guess they have a 200-300% markup from buying directly from the breeder. So, while I love the set up and how friendly the staff is and the variety of breeds kept at the store, I had to rate it a 4-star due to the unrealistic prices they’re asking.

I have been to the store on March 12th and I informed clearly that I am only looking for a hypoallergenic puppy and I gave the budget as well. So the rep is sweet enough to show me couple of puppies, one of them which sheded a lot on my clothes and when I questioned, she got me another puppy. Later I got acquainted with the puppy and I have decided to put the deposit and I did. The manager did not let me know the policy of a non refundable deposit and after coming home, my situation turned out to be worst because of severe allergic reaction and I immediately called them and said I will back off in bringing the puppy home and the manager told me on a recorded line that he will refund me the money and I am the one who said let’s hold that for now and lemme see until next day. I called on March 13th and said the reaction is still there but not that worst and I have decided to not bring the puppy home with this condition. Today the manager backed off by saying that he will not refund my money and he started lying about saying that he did mention about refund. This is the part I am hating. Instead of keeping the store clean and put up a sign that severe conditioned allergic people are not allowed, these guys are charging me in return. Kudos to the management.

Very many cute puppies and few hamsters. But the sales agents are very slow and take forever to give us the application and price quote.Puppies here seem healthy and playful but the agents won't know anything other than its breed. They won't know how old they are, their full grown up size etc..

WAITED AND WAITED for someone to come help us and no one did. The girl that is working there literally just threw the puppy into the cages as if it was nothing she should be fired for that! Also not to mention the puppy’s were licking their own feces! No dog should be in the condition they are at Petland go to PUPPY LAND they take good care of the puppy’s unlike Petland. And to think I was gonna go in and buy a puppy never again I’m going in there!

First time going into a Petland...I took my granddaughter there because she wanted to see some dogs and yes, plenty of puppies (hopefully not from puppy mills) were for sale. Most were priced around $2k.The black goldidor was on 'sale' for $1500 because he had been there for so long - maybe it's because it looks like he isn't walking correctly on all 4 paws. His feet look splayed out and he was walking clear back where his foot bends - flat-footed.Also, a woman was trying to get the store to buy her dog back because she didn't want her. She was walking her dog around on leash and said we could have her for $1000. The store associate was telling her they don't buy back their dogs once they've been purchased. Would like to know what happens to that poor cocker spaniel looking girl :(The schnauzer puppies had cute little haircuts and the groomer was working on a little white fluffy dog when we were there.Restrooms were atrocious and needed immediate attention.Staff were friendly.The rabbits, gerbils/hamsters and bird areas were clean, pets friendly. However, they are placed in unsafe conditions as people can pick them up, move them out of their enclosures and possibly be stolen or harmed. Would like to see a safer set up for them but I think it's this way so people can handle them freely. Which again, isn't safe unless being supervised by an employee.Would be nice if info about the animals; age, breed, prices, etc. were listed on the animal enclosures. I suppose staff associates are supposed to tell you that info but it was Father's Day weekend and the store was crowded.

Not sure of the blonde with wavy hair but she just stood there and watched us. Didn’t offer any info on the dogs, or offer assistance just literally watched with a very mean face.Then she came very close to me and aggressively snatched a piece of paper off the wall. Very concerning. I’m unsure why she was so angry. Ended up leaving without a purchase.

Great and one of a kind place If you are seriously considering adopting an animal, puppies especially. I loved how they had private little cubicles for you to spend 1 on 1 time with any possible pups you might want to take home. Makes it much easier to focus on getting to know the animal in a safe, enclosed space with no interruptions. They also have a pretty cool room where they keep their birds that you can actually open the glass doors and walk into the enclosure. The ONLY Downside was their actual product selection seemed very limited. I wasn't able to find and dog sweaters I was originally looking for and ended up having to go to a different pet store. But my 7 year old got a huge kick out of being able to see all the puppies and got to hold a couple of them.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Baylee for being absolutely amazing! My fiancée and I are trying to find a pet (we are a little picky and have a bunch of questions) and she has been amazing throughout this process. She has been available each time we've gone to the store, and has patiently listen to all of our concerns. She is actively helping us find a dog that fits our needs, while also being honest, which we appreciated. If/when we adopt a pet, it will be because of the care we received from Baylee. Thank you, Baylee!
