They keep too many betas in stock. One was dead. At least it’s better than Petsmart that had multiple dead ones. Please support your local fish stores instead of this monopoly.

The Petco on crater Lake is terrible. I made an appointment with the groomer for my 12 pound dog who had been to a Petco before with no problem. An hour after I dropped him off the girl called me and said that she was too afraid of the dog to groom him and I had to come pick him up.I do not think she had any intention of grooming him that day. There was another groomer there that apparently was not interested in helping. I will never take my dog here again and do not recommend that anyone do so.Judging from some of the other pictures in the other reviews, I'm lucky they didn't groom him

If I could give them 0 stars I would... Grooming is not recommended at all, they had my dog ​​for 5 hours to do the spring package and he came out all wet, dogs came in after mine and left before mine. 5 hours they didn't even comb his hair.

Poor communication! I was referred to this office from another Petco location regarding an emergency vaccination need. I explained my situation to the representative when my call was answered. I told her my dog has a grooming appointment tomorrow and I had been advised her rabies shot had expired. The representative proceeded to explain their office closed at 4pm that day. I said, “per my GPS I would arrive approximately 3:38pm.”The representative then said I needed to arrive before 3:45pm as if they didn’t want me to come. The representative then began taking my name and pet information as I was on my way to do a 30min drive just to arrive, walk into the exam room with my 1yr old Shih Tzu and be informed that there is a $75 OFFICE VISIT FEE in addition to the vaccination charges. Is it just me or could this have been explained over the phone? If you needed to submit new patient information for my 1yr old dog I would think you shoud discuss new patient information & charges before having someone waste an hour driving in rush hour traffic! 😠👎

Do not use this groomer! Twice our dog was given back to us COMPLETELY shorn which we did not want. When voiced to management, it was poorly handled, and we were blamed for the misunderstanding. We will not be using their services for grooming again! Our grooming experiences at the Petco at Town Center were MUCH better, and maybe that's why they're always booked up...

got off work late one night and was out of cat food, a store associate aiden saw me pull up and kept the doors open make sure i got what i needed for my pet , truly made my day and always have a great experience at this location!!

Grooming - Had our dogs first visit to be groomed and after having the appointment setup we arrived early and they refused service. They wanted the first visit to be a bath and nail trimming when we wanted a haircut. The dog has been to the vet side many times and was comfortable being there. It was a very misleading a waste of time.

I come here all the time and their service is great! Ethan had lots of good advice on invertebrates and reptiles, and there’s another girl with short colorful hair that’s super sweet and helpful too. Always food and water in the animals tanks, always stocked with the things I need!

Very convenient way to pick up dog food. I can do an online pickup order in the app and they will do curbside pickup. Always very friendly. Other locations don’t carry my dogs food but this one does. I am glad that they help support local pet rescues

My cat needed an emergency surgery and this place just seemed to care about the money… I was charged $880 and was told to take my cat to the ER and THEY DIDNT EVEN SEND ANY OF THE PAPERWORK TO THE ER… my poor cat had to get all the tests done again and didn’t even need surgery… WORST CHRISTMAS OF MY LIFE BECAUSE IF VETCO!!!!

Wry knowledge and kind,courteous staff.The manager Cheyanne was spot on the very best !! She was helping out the Kennesaw store,she was from the West Cobb Store.She surprised me as being a Reptile lover as much as I- I will definitely be going to visit Cheyanne at her store when in need of food n treats for my Bearded dragon buddy- Thanks y’all,for all the help!!!!Highly recommend Petco to anyone in the market for a fur ,fin,scale or feathered friend!!! Me & my mom were in earlier today for several dog items & as we passed by the fish tanks it was very obvious that they haven't been cleaned for a minimum of 2 months. I've had fish & currently a turtle & even with once a month cleaning the tank never was so dirty & filled with algae. Absolutely disgraceful for a pet store to have fish in such poor living conditions.

I bought 8 fish at this Petco. 3 of which were Cory Cats. 2 Cory cats died within 2 days. I tried to return them. Every other aquarium store has a 5 day guarantee on their fish. I was told they won't refund the fish without a water sample. I breed guppies, mollies, and shrimp!!!! I test my water weekly with a better testing kit than a bad test strip in a single bottle of water that they wanted me to take all the way back home and bring back!! I'm highly offended that this store which knows nothing of fish period! Wants to test my water!!!! Hey guess what!! What makes you think I would even bring you in water from that tank!!!! I have 3 tanks !!!! I have a breeder tank, a tank the babies go in until we can sex them, and I have a male tank for the male babies once they are old enough to move!! MY tank is not the issue! I will never EVER buy even rabbit food from Petco ever again!!

Came in to browse the store for a new fish tank and noticed this 90 gallon has a footprint in the middle of it. Definitely not going to buy another tank from here. Don’t want a fish tank that has a footprint from someone standing in the middle of the glass!

This place is a scam!! They provide just enough assistance to ensure you have to come back to them for the same issue over and over again! It should be against the law for such a company to take advantage such as this one. It is a shame! I warn you, do not take your pets here. They do not care about their pet patients, they are not friendly, and unable to solve any issues. They are only after your money, not the health of your pet. A complete waste of time and money!

My dog came home from grooming with a split lower eyelid. It was fine when dropped her off. No one at petco told me it had happened. I’m appalled at the lack of professionalism, and will never take my dog to petco for grooming again.

Everybody was amazing! My dog got his shots and a physical. I received bad news about his health and I took it very hard. The staff was very caring and showed empathy. They went above and beyond and also suggested things I can do to help my dog.

My husband and I went to get are beardies some worms first off they only had the 12-count which we got 3 and not any other count which is very peculiar considering they sell bearded dragons then we get home Andover half of the worms so that means my bearded dragon's basically got ten worms each out of 36 of them. Highly highly disappointed definitely will never return and do not not recommend anybody shopping here

This review is in honor of a truly amazing and awesome employee who helped out when my children’s fish got very sick and died. Her name is Kenna and she took her time and expertise to help my distraught kids, and did it with care. She is a fish expert and helped us get appropriate supplies and tank for our remaining fish- we had purchased fish and tanks etc from an aquarium store nearby that did not give us accurate information about how to care for Betta fish, with devastating consequences. Kenna is the kind of employee and person I would want to hire/work with.

Huge selection of animals and accessories, clean and organized aisles. Really knowledgeable and helpful staff that will take time with customers to make sure they make the right choices for their pet. They also have a well organized sale rack which is a rarity (usually just a big bin of miscellaneous junk) which I thought was worth coming back to check out.
