Depends on who's working some of the staff is just rude. This store never have anything. It should be shut down. Shelves always empty and store looks a mess everyday. Never seen a family dollar this unorganized.

Horrible experience with Store Manager, MorioOn, 1-4-2020 I chose this location for a beverage and restroom break. While I'm there, I noticed pink himalayan salt lamps that were marked as $5. The price was unbelievable and I conversed with the cashier, Amber on the unbelievable price and she agreed it was a great deal. I grabbed three to purchase. Upon checkout the lamps were registering as $10. She called her manager, Morio for help. Amber explained the issue. Morio approached the matter with blunt rudeness. Morio was very dismissive and chauvinistic towards myself. After Amber explained he bluntly retorted,"Ain't nothing I can do about that" I asked, "why" he replied "cause it's ringing up $10". I replied, I understand that however they're on display for $5 and I'm asking for the price to be honored. Morio replied, " Ma'am do you want them or not"I replied, "Yes for $5 as they're advertised". I asked why could he not honor the price and what was his employee status. Morio replied,"IM THE STORE MANAGER" I ask, so why can you not honor the price? He proceeds without my consent and voids all of my items(I had other items), looked to Amber and said, "put them back" and bluntly walked away without any type of explanation. I quickly snapped photos of the display soon after he changed the display to $10.I was forced to call corporate as I awaited in store for a resolution. Corporate contacted the DM and had the DM call Morio directly I followed 6ft behind Morio and listened as he falsified the narrative to his DM of what had just occured. Morio then reapproach myself with a disgusting attitude and stated, "ma'am I just called my DM" I can sell you ONE for $5" knowing my initial selection included three. So basically Morio was saying he could honor the price for one and would dismiss the others. From there I wanted to hear nothing he had to say as he was definitely lying. Corporate had just contacted his DM and they called him. Morio not once offered an apology. After speaking directly with his DM an apology was given on the behalf of the store for having items incorrectly priced and refusing to honor the price. The DM then assured that I would have the option to purchase for $5 which I did. The cashier, Amber was really nice and retrieved the other items from my order that Morio had instructed her to put back on the shelves. Morio fails miserably in character and ability to fulfill his duties as, Store manager. After all was said and done and after being instructed by his DM to honor the price for all three lamps. Morio approached the register and instructed Amber to override to honor the price. Amber replied, "I can't do that" Morio was adamant in his being wrong and also his refusal to authorize as he tried to make Amber do what was out of her range of duties. I unfortunately had to spend 40mins of my workday on the phone with Family Dollar corporate for an issue that could have been easily solved within minutes. I was exhausted and and felt deeply disrespected by their store manager, Morio. If it wasn't for corporate and the DM and their efforts to resolve this matter I would have rated 1 star.

They seriously should close this location down from, the thefts to the lack of employees and now they are only excepting cash payments at this location in today’s age not a lot of people carry cash so this is a huge inconvenience especially when this location is 1 min from my house

They close early every day. Today I got there at 9 and they were closed. The hours say 10 and they have closed at 10 for as long as I have lived across the street. It wasn’t enough that you raised your prices and your store is filthy. Now y’all gotta close early too? Pick a struggle please.

I could have sworn I made a review about this place before just because I love the employees at this Family Dollar and it seems the store does well to keep things in stock. The employees here are very nice and patient, they create good small talk conversation if it's a lot of items and I've never had a problem here once. This is a good family dollar.

This store is horrrible. They DO NOT honor the operating hours & this is the 4th time I’ve been to the store & the doors are locked & the lights are out by 9:20pm when it clearly states the store closes at 10pm. They really need to work on that.

Rude management, need new management will be better work place and shopping experience. Lecretia Nixson and Jamal both need to be fired, non considerate of employees needs, stay gone majority of the day, no help, didn’t train me at all, only worked 3 days and it felt like hell, love to shop there but working there is not the right job to have maybe if it had different managers who actually care about their employees needs and concerns, just rude especially Lacretia Nixson , main one needs to be gone, and I will be calling corporate, close mouth don’t get fed and people need to know what type of person she is just messy, disrespectful, and not management material

There was an older, female cashier that greeted me when I came inside of the store. This was much different from my other experiences at other Family Dollar stores. Although I decided not to purchase anything because they were out of the particular item I wanted, her greeting made me feel so welcome that it deserved a 5-star rating,

Never any bascarts for us to shop with. If customers are taking them, put stopper poles on them so they cant leave the store! How are we supposed to shop without a cart? I went to 3 different stores before I found one with carts! Unacceptable!!! Also, have more than 1 cashier! Noone should have to.wait 5 mins or more in line to check out! We spend wayyyy too much money in here for us to have such horrible shopping experiences! Do your customers better!!! And whyyyy?? Why are they never open on time???!??? Change the damn hrs for Gods sake!!! Its 8:06, lady comes to the door, I get out and the damn door is still locked!!! Hire ppl who wants to do their job!

Hello when I was trying to call and ask the customer service people a couple of questions the lady was very rude and kept hanging up the phone I asked her about that card and then she just hung up the phone in my face and then I said ma'am I wasn't finished and she still hung up my the phone getting my face very rude and disrespectful pool customer service

I called here to inquire if they had a particular item I needed to purchase and the girl answered the phone saying "yeah" as if this was her personal phone && when I said hello she proceeded to say yes what you need. From that moment I asked to speak to the manager && once the manager got on the phone it wasn't any better! Still no greeting just yeah ! Horrible customer service ! & going in the store is no better they are on their phones don't acknowledge anybody laughing, playing, cussing just terrible!

If this is the Family Dollar store next to the DUI and Defensive Driving A-1 School, I would highly advise you not to shop here. To be frank, their customer service skills are terrible. When I entered, I was not greeted. One cashier was on the phone texting and the other cashier (that helped me) seemed as though I was bothering him. You get paid to service me and other customers. This will be my last time shopping at this particular Family Dollar. I know that this is a predominately black area, but that does not mean that they should be allowed to provide awful service. Get it together!

After having a negative experience at Family Dollar down the street from this location after attempting to return some curtains and was refused because one of them was open, I decided to go to this location to try to return them here.The woman at the register gave me a hard time, and said that it would "throw her inventory off," and I asked her nicely if she would please return them, and she did, but she smacked her tongue and complained the entire time. Repeatedly...and reluctantly gave me my refund. And also claimed that she didn't have the $20 in cash to give me because she "just opened" her drawer, so she attempted to give it to me on a gift card, before I corrected her and had her put it back on my debit card.Again, another Family Dollar location where the employees do not live up to the standards of Family Dollar as I know them. Stay away from these locations on Tara Boulevard, because their employees obviously don't care much about the jobs or their customers.Don't they know about secret shoppers? They don't know me, and I could have been sent from the corporate office to check on their customer service. I hope that the corporate office would see these Google reviews and take notice.

Open on time and I can do some shopping. More than once I came to that store then pulled and pushed both doors. After the disappointment I leave and go to the family dollar down the street. Update may 2019 1 yr later still closed at 9:20am. They can't seem to open the doors.

Asked the clerk about a restroom and almost crapped myself because she TOOK HER SWEET TIME going to the BACK OF THE STORE to unlock the bathroom that was INSIDE the EMPLOYEES ONLY AREA!!!
