If I could give them 0 stars I would. They kept my fur baby for 4 days to come back and get him and see he had cuts all over his body. My 11 year old daughter went with my son in law to pick up our fur baby and she saw that he had multiple cuts both sides of his rib cage my daughter asked what happened to her dog and the woman laughed .y daughter came home upset wiping blood of of her dog. I then went back and of course she acted like she didn't know what happened and his blood still on the floor, Yet she had no issues taking 120.00 from my daughter not to mention he was starved lost plenty of weight when I got him home he ate like he ever ate before. My dog is a gentle giant and HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS.

I took my mini schnauzer in for a hair cut she was pretty matted on her legs but her body was fine. but her body was shaved down pretty short and I noticed that her ear had been cut. A church of her ear was missing. They didn’t even tell me they had cut her i just saw it today. She went to them one time before and they did a pretty good job but this time it was bad. i’m honestly thinking about suing and definitely going to call back up to get my money back. everything would’ve been sorta okay if they let me know from the jump a piece of dog ear was gone.I should’ve know something was wrong when she opened the cage for my dog and she didn’t even want to walk past her until she saw me and she came running and wanted to be held. I’m giving 2 ⭐️ because my other dog i took the same day they did a good job on her since they specialize in poodles. But I can say I definitely won’t be bringing either one of them back.

Had a great experience with John. He coached me up on some grooming tips, some that other places wouldn't even say anything about which I really appreciated. He took his time even with a client walking in. And my doggo came home cleaner than she's ever been.

They did a very rush job on my Yorkie. She was clean and bathed well but the puppy cut was not that great. Her paw wasn’t trimmed and the cut was awful. I spoke with the woman behind the desk and she informed me that they were very busy that particular day. So for that reason alone we will give them another try.

My baby came home smelling so sweet and looking so adorably clean. They took so much good care and unlike the bad experiences we've had at other groomers, she was not shaved bald and the nails were cut just right. They answer the phones or at least call you back ASAP!!! So kind and professional. This will be my permanent Dog Grooming place.

Do NOT bring your pet here. I am extremely disheartened by the condition my 13-year-old cocker spaniel was in once he was picked up. Prior to dropping him off mid January, it was explained that he would possibly be staying for a long time during our moving process, which the couple agreed would be fine. Between the time of his stay, we would call to check on him, ask for photos (which we hardly received), and we would be told that he was fine, making friends. Rusty is not a very social dog at his age and can already be a bit nervous so that brought on some suspicion. The payments began to get more frequent and started to raise. Due to our situation, we had no choice but to continue the stay. Now…We went to pick Rusty up in the beginning of May. When he was dropped off in January, he was a bit overweight and when we went to pick him up in May he was EXTREMELY underweight. I mean bones were visible just as he stood and he could hardly hold himself up as he only has 3 legs. When asked what they were feeding him, the older lady simply said “healthy things, yogurt, rice, stuff like that”. It was never informed to us that they did not feed the dogs actual dog food or if they fed them at all honestly. My dog is now extremely anxious, sick with a disease, infected ears, and he had ticks on him. They also decided to groom him on the day we requested to pick him up so we had to wait an extra day, just for his cut to be choppy and they nicked him a few times. They do NOT properly care for the pets that are in their center. I will NEVER bring my dog back nor recommend anyone to ever bring their dogs here unless it is the last choice and for a very very very few short days. I do hate to write such a horrible review for this older couple but this is extremely unacceptable and the awards on the walls are just for show because they are not handling the dogs the same as they once did.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have tried to give this business the Benefit of doubt because they’re older, but that’s no excuse for the rudeness displayed or the quality of service provided. I brought my dogs ( a shihpoo and Maltese) to them the first time a younger woman answered the phone and after the service I was very pleased! I could tell everything had been done correctly. This was their first time being groomed EVER and I was charged $75 ( cutting the matted hair was included in price). The second time I took them I was charged $90 for the same service with less hair/ matting. On top of that my Maltese was shaved down to her skin for no reason and had cuts under her belly from the clippers, both dogs were patchy and neither of my dogs nails were trimmed!I called to voice my complaint and to see how to make sure it doesn’t happen again and the older guy pretty much told me I was lying. He said that everyone says their dog comes in a certain way, but be liars. He kept saying he didn’t have an answer for me and that they are the cheapest in the area and I can pay more in Alpharetta and get the same thing. At the end of our convo he said I could either bring them or go somewhere else and pay more. I will be happy to take my services elsewhere! The price is not a reason to have my dogs mistreated and traumatized during a bath. Please do not go here if you care about your dogs and want ALL the services you paid for completed. I think it’s time for them to retire.

I was a referral and as first timer I was skeptic to board my fur baby for the weekend, The price was right($13-15 per day) but I should have listened to my spidey sense. If you're into no frills then this place may work for you but keep in mind, there's no cameras to view your fur baby, smelly, and wasn't (or unable) to offer a tour of the facility and its a cash only business. When I picked up my fur baby, she had two matted spots are on her fur which I went home immediately to wash and medicated. I was too angry to fuss out the elderly couple, per their early 2000's dog winning ribbons obviously had experience with dogs, however, its not a good fit for me. Keep in mind, everything that shines isn't gold. I'll pass.

📞Called got an appointment, no problem, asked for cocker cut, no problem,....🐕I was loving my Raazzi when he came out. She asked if I used to have another cocker years ago...I did,... she remembers My Special. OM Goodness, I was soooo pleased, made me feel like real Family. 🤗 Take your babies here for a lil water, suds fun, let their hair blow, and then a cut or trim. You won't regret it. 🐾

SMDH! I’ve read quite a few reviews. I agree the gentleman is rude! The work from the old man is very inconsistent, you never know what type of service you’ll get when he’s there. I’ve had to ask him to go make my daughters dog right. He cuts choppy and very uneven. He cut our dog and his reason was he said the dog jumped….yeah right! I wish I could post a picture!

Interesting reviews. First of all prices can vary from over the telephone quote if the dog is infested with fleas, very dirty or has lots of mats. Most individuals don't understand that the mats can be very close to the skin and not visible. We try to keep prices as low as possible to help customers to be able to afford grooming their pets on a regular basis. We have customers that abandoned there pets at our facility after running their bills as high as $1,000.00. We asked people to walk their pets on the grass before entering, most of the time they will just walk straight from their cars and then their pets poop and pee in the reception area. We are fully air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. Outdoor runs are used during the day when not too hot or raining so they get plenty of exercise. We provide food for all the pets. We continually rescue pets that are abandoned or the owners can't keep them. Politeness is a two way street, please don't speak on the phone while we are trying to help you, understand that we request cash payment to keep costs down to help the customer and understand that listening to barking dogs is stressful. We have been providing services to our customers in Clayton County for 20 years, with very few price increases. We look forward to seeing you and your pets and providing good service for many years to come.

Did not inform me until I picked up my dog that they only take cash. Fortunately I had enough cash on me to pay. The lady began lecturing me about how I should make homemade food for my dog. This was NOT her place. The cut was fine but the rest was not.

I boarded my dog for 5 days and when I went to pick her up, her whole underbelly and legs were covered in urine. It is as if she was sitting in it for hours or days. I am not ok with this. When I inquired with the man at the desk, he stated that he just walked my dog in tall grass so the wetness came from that. My dog was not wet anywhere else and was covered in urine. I paid good money to house my pet.I have documentation and I would NOT recommend this place for boarding or any other service.Thanks.

I used them some time ago when I had my Yorkie and they took good care of her. I recently called to have my Shepard boarded there but they advised me that they don't take in Shepard's. Well at least not German shepherds. I'm not sure why though, I didn't ask.

Today first time, I read the review🤔A desided to go.I was the first appt with two very large 9 yrs old lab chow mix both weight over 100lbs. I did pay a little more, but my boys are big and had been in the yard for a month.The service was great👍👍Mr. John was friendy and his wife is very frinds also.▪︎I did walk my boys before the appt this morning.They show▪︎No signs of being stressed when I picked them up.■☆They are used very stressed when we go to Petsmart.So we dont go😬Petsmart prefers small and medium sized dogs.👌But we had a great experience today.I will used Mr.John Clayton Pet Care again in the future👌😉

In consistent is the best way to describe this place. You never know what you will pay for grooming. If you get the sweet little lady at the front desk you can expect to pay the usual. However, if you get the grumpy old man you should expect to pay more. In addition, he says they must have raised the prices when asked about the different amount he is quoting. When THEY is he and his wife who own and run the place with their son!! Ridiculous!! I will not spend any more of my money here EVER again.

This is the WORST business ever! Im pretty sure my dog is left in a cage for days at a time. The owner told me that the dogs are let at for an hour a day. Now think...they close at 5pm and dont open back up until 9am the next day. My dog had an injury and when I asked the old man about it he had no info for me. All he could say was the dogs aren't around each other and that she did it to herself. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Dont patronize this establishment if you care the least bit about your fur baby.

This place is horrible!!! They cut my dog low and uneven. She look very choppy. She was suppose to have a teddy bear face and they cut off all the hair on her face. They didn't even clip her nail the correct way. The old man at the front desk is very rude. Save your 35 bucks!!!

This place is horrible asked them to cut my yorkie hair short and the man messed her up! He chopped up her hair and shave a line down her back! Never going back and never ever take your pet there! Grooming services suck he didn't even bath her cut her nails nothing at all but a damn linemail down her back!
